"Being from the Philadelphia area, my wife are always looking for a high quality restaurant when traveling out of our immediate area. We were in town for a 7:00pm show, had 5:30pm reservations, but didnt arrive until 6pm. Regardless of our traffic issues, we were seated right away and let our server know that we had a 7pm show preceeded by a 20 minute drive. He communicated our situation to the Kitchen so we were able to have an exquisit meal complete with fresh bread, appetizers, a delicious homemade mushroom soup, salad, and very appealing & fresh entrees. Although we wanted to stay longer, we knew we had to hit the road to see the show. All-in-all, we were there for 40 minutes and have nothing but positive feedback for Grille 3501!"

"While 80% of our food was excellent we did have a few things that weren't so great. I would not recommend getting the ceasar salad. It really didn't have any flavor. It tasted like it was mayonnaise tossed with lettuce. And one person ordered the lamb entre and it was mostly fat with very little meat. He did not eat it. The atmosphere was great and the rest of our meals were great."

"We came to meet family from out of town. We have been to the Grille one time before. My brother-in-law owned a restaurant on 3rd Ave on the upper East side of NYC named Jim McMullen's. It was very popular with excellent food. He has retired and was impressed with both your food as well as the service. Our Server (a young woman) was attentive and very pleasant. He thought that the food was as good as many of the NYC Restaurants. Jim lives in Far Hills, NJ now, and told me the the Grille was better than anything in his area. He knows food, so his compliment does say that the Grille is keeping up with it's reputation. Thanks for a very nice evening."

"We went here to celebrate my dad's 70th birthday. Although I had called them prior to our arrival to ask if they could put a candle in something-they didn't acknowledge it at all. Most places, even if you don't order desert , will do something. Nonetheless, besides that -the meal was fantastic, service was good, and we had a wonderful time. Some of the best food I've had in the Valley lately."

"Grille 3501 is a gem! Although a bit pricey, the food quality and overall experience was completely worth this dinner for a special occasion! My mother, boyfriend and I made reservations on 4/13 for dinner at 615(highly recommended--others coming in at the same time without reservations were being turned away). The drink menu was fabulous, and all of our drinks were unique and delicious. We started our meal with the mussels (perfect to share among 3), which were bursting with flavors--churrasco, crab, peppers. For our main course, I enjoyed a fish special (popcorn encrusted halibut), others at the table had the duck (cooked to perfection) and the Chilian Sea Bass. My mom and I expressed how long it has been since having such a meal!"

"Our group of four came on a Monday, so it was quiet. We had very attentive service, and three of us had martinis, which were excellent. We began with 2 shared appetizers, which were chicken dumplings and a duck confit, both creative and delicious. My own rockfish was firm and perfectly cooked; my husband raved over his lobster tail, and our friends, who eat out regularly in New York and are fastidious, said that their meals were excellent as well. Our server was fast, responsive and friendly, but not intrusive.

"We arrived early, but were accommodate quickly by attentive staff. Our server was friendly and helpful, as were other servers, too, from a couple of snippets of overheard conversations with tables nearby.
The food was excellent. Perfectly prepared and presented and very, very tasty.
I have only one criticism of the place...they do not use tablecloths.. Other than that, which could really just be my own bug-a-boo, it was terrific."

"This was the first time I came to this restaurant but I had high expectations from what friends had told me. I was NOT disappointed! The food was delicious, the drinks awesome, and the service was fantastic! I would say that this is definitely a restaurant for people who are adventurous in their taste. I had the lobster tail with baby bok choy and edamame mashed potatoes. This was definitely a new taste for me, but was delicious none the less. This will definitely be a "special occasion" restaurant for my husband and I as we had a fairly expensive bill between a drink each, appetizer, two entrees, and a dessert."

"We dined there recently to redeem a gift certificate. We have enjoyed this restaurant in the past but this evening the noise level was unbearable. Energetic??? Loud!! Otherwise, food was good and the service was wonderful. I must note it was a Saturday evening, but it was early and as more diners arrived the louder the dining room became. "I took my best friend here for her birthday. She and I were both delighted by both the food and service. I am now planning my anniversary dinner and this may br the place my husband and I go. To top off a perfect meal the waitstaff was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu. During my reservation process I put in it that it was a birthday celebration and to my surprise I didn't eve n have to remind them or tell them who was the birthday by girl. Our waitress brought out a small dish with ice cream and a candle and set it in frong of the right person. She wished her a happy birthday and said to have a good night."

"The whole experience was super! We were there with a group of eight and the service was excellent. The food portion was perfect(not too much) and the quality of the food was outstanding. We would go back in a heartbeat! Thank you for such a superb dinner!"

"The bar service was great, drinks were wonderful; good tasting and not the miniature martinis you find elsewhere. The food was exquisite as was the service! We should have shared an appetizer though because there was a lot of food for one person. I have been here before and have always enjoyed it. I wish they could do something about the noise though as conversations just seem to carry. Won't keep me away though."

"The lobster risotta appetizer was an A++. Also loved the oysters. Tuna appetizer was somewhat bland. Two people at our table had the NY strip au poivre which was cooked perfectly at medium-rare. Scallop main dish and rockfish special were also excellent. Desserts were good to average with the cheesecake appearing to be the favorite. Wine selections and prices were good. I would definitely go back, especially for a special occassion."

"Was able to get reservations on short notice for Friday night. Extremely pleased with dinner: presentation, taste, portions, variety (the variety and creativity is the best we have seen in the Valley.) The service was friendly and efficient, but would have preferred one or two "check-in's" since the pace was leisurely in terms of the food appearing. This did NOT take away from the experience, however - plenty of time to talk and enjoy the time together, and the food was definitely worth waiting for!"

"I continue to visit Grille 3501 when I entertain European visitors as the food is at a par or above many good European restaurants. The menu choices are outstanding with a broad range and done creatively. I had the Shrimp and Crab Spring Rolls with a mango dipping sauce which was excellent. For the entree I had the Braised Short Ribs which were served on top of a potato crisp and spinach - excellent!"
