"I've been here several times now, and decided to take my mom here for mothers' day. The food and service were good as usual. The steak was a little overcooked for my taste but not necessarily incorrect (a slightly more medium medium-rare whereas I prefer it a little closer to rare), but everything else was delicious. About the only negative I have to say about this restaurant is that the 'tasters menu' is nothing special and only three courses. I would like to see smaller portions than are served on the regular menu and more courses, but again that's my preference. I think this is a really great higher-end restaurant that could easily cross the line into fine dining with a few minor tweaks. Overall a decent value for your money."

"We went for the $50 Table D'hote. I started with the caesar salad. The portion was small, but the presentation was okay. Croutons seemed store-bought. My steak was over cooked and over sauced and the potatoes were gluey and the accompanying cauliflower blended in well with the colour. The asparagus was also over cooked. My partner's french onion soup was good, but it is hard to mess that up. Her salmon was nicely done.
The orange meringue dessert was actually quite creative and tasty. Very nice presentation on this - actually looked like it came from a different kitchen than the other items."

"The food is not bad, but way to expensive for what you get. And for that reason I would never go back there. My husband had the Surf and Turf, steak and lobster, for $55, which he thought included the onion soup he ordered, but no it added another $10. Myself I had the Table D'Hote, for $52, started with onion soup, which was OK, but nothing special. Then porkloin on a bed of mashed potatoes with 3 carrots, followed by desert which was creme brulee, and it was the best part of the meal.
The chef uses way to much salt!!! The cheapest bottle of wine starts at $52.
Sorry, did I mention we would never go back! I don't mind paying for a good meal, but if I can do better myself, I rather not pay $180!"

"Excellent meal at Sage. I was a little worried as the last visit was very disapointing but our waitress(Marie) was excellent and very knowledgable and the food was wonderful. We sat in the back next to the fire place which was very nice as the back room can be cold. The booths are really nice and it is very cozy but if you don't like smoke be sure to request a table towards the back.
The creme brule was to die for!"

"It was good. The french onion soup is great! But the Lobster bisque is $14 for 2 tiny pieces of lobster with a cream soup poured over top. Awful and not worth it. Shrimp cocktail...great! Beet salad...so, so. The smores cheesecake is amazing! Don't let your waiter there recommend. To him everything we asked about was the best he's ever had. The chicken entree wasn't great, he said it's his favourite. but my hubby's Rib eye was great!
Way to expensive though, well over $200.00!

A little on the pricey side for two people with wine and dessert about two hundred dollars. Service was very good."
