"Wonderful service, great food and awesome salsa bar - what more can you ask for? The ambiance was fantastic and the staff were phenominal. Would definitely go back, especially since my 3 kids also loved the food."

"We loved the atmosphere, service and amazing food. The salsa bar was unique and great selection of salsa from mild to hot. I had the tamales and they were just like homemade and the best tamales I have had in St. Louis. We took home churros that were perfect for dessert. Will definitely return for more great food!"

"Very pleased to find this restaurant. My first experience with fish tacos and they were delicious. Also wonderful "homemade" guacamole. Entered on a cool, rainy night and immediately felt at home."

"We were excited when entering the restaurant after viewing the creative exterior iron statures and wall paintings and the interior decorations. Unfortunately the food and drinks didn't live up to the creative decorations."

"My husband and I thought the food was excellent. We both love to try new Mexican flavors and it's our favorite type of cuisine. We also LOVE margaritas. While the food was great, the house margaritas tasted like straight tequila. There was really no margarita flavor to them whatsoever. We were very disappointed in the margaritas."

"I loved the decor of this place...rustic Mexican with folk art and images reminiscent of Dia de los Muertos. The decor makes a very large open area feel cozy. The "smoke and mirrors" cocktail was interesting but I preferred the house margarita. Mexican beer and Sangria were hits at the table, though we couldn't get a proper glass of good scotch. Fish tacos were delicious!"

"The first time we went to the restaurant it was busy but we had a great time and great service. We wanted to take some friends that we thought would like it, made reservations and showed up. They couldn't find our reservations (hostess not friendly). Luckily they seated us (very back of restaurant) but the place very busy and loud for a basketball game. It seemed on this second visit they were unable to deal with the crowd. The food not as good as our first visit, and the drinks not even close as good. Forgotten salt rims, cucumber margaritas tasting like regular ones, then the waitress drank them to see, then told us the bartender added more cucumber juice but the levels and tastes the same. Will try again, hope this was a fluke experience"

"Any hope of a relaxing evening has dashed by the wickedly uncomfortable seating and the harsh lighting. The nachos were almost literally inedible: fragile chips could not be used to carry toppings to the mouth, and the chips under the gluey cheese had turned to mush -- so, neither a finger food nor a fork food. The burrito suffered the same fate as the nachos, swimming in cheese "sauce". I will NOT be going back nor can I recommend it to either a foodie crowd or a party crowd."
