"My husband and I went here for a low key anniversary dinner and when we pulled up, we were slightly concerned only because it was our anniversary and it was rather small and in a small shopping center / strip mall (had a hard time finding it coming from the south). However, once inside, all of the worries were put to rest. It is small and quaint, with a great decor. My husband is the sushi lover (I go with the cooked rolls / food) and we both thought our meals were amazing. They even had a much more extensive drink list than I was anticipating. We had a great meal, great service and an overall great time."

"My girlfriend was supposed to work Valentine's day , but found out afternoon that she was off that night, and I panicked. Looked through OpenTable to find my best possible option and this was it. That's the truth.

what I DID discover that night, however, was how perfect of a place Izumi was for what we were looking for, especially considering she wasn't expecting anything that night since it was all on such short notice. I've spent Valentine's dates out in New York City in the past and, honestly, this was just as nice. We had an impromptu night of good sushi in a warm, laid-back atmosphere. It doesn't get much better than that."
