"The food was excellent, and our server was wonderful. However, the hostess was rude and due to their error with restaurant.com, was snappy at us and left us leaving with a very bad taste in our mouth. She was rude, pushy and is the reason we won't be going back. It's a shame, the food was wonderful and the restaurant now lost people to come over a lousy $25 gift certificate."

"This was the first time for the all four of such at Il Sogno, and we all thought it's a find. Delicious good and lovely presentation. We loved the split pea soup, the tri colore salad with fresh grated paramsean and the salad with the fried goat cheese. The rissoto special, bronzino and pastas were prepared just right. "Our first visit to this restaurant was a good experience...an interesting and varied menu, an attentive and well-informed server who never rushed us, and excellent food. The dining room was mostly empty when we arrived at six o'clock but was nearly filled an hour later. There was a good 'buzz' in the place without being unpleasantly noisy. "We are a Book Club and we wanted to get away to a restaurant rather than have one of us host the evening. We were not disappointed. As soon as we walked through the door, we noticed the warmth of the restaurant and the appetizing aroma. We were offered a lovely round table in the corner and were greeted by an attentive waiter immediately. The Restaurant Week menu gave ample choices and we were very satisfied. The service was timed very well and along with the excellent food, the dining experience was excellent."

"What a delicious find! We tried Il Sogno for the first time a few weeks ago and immediately wished we had tried it sooner. Our first experience was so great that we came back for our Valentine's Day dinner. The owner, Jimmy, makes a point to "touch" every table, which I find sets great restaurants apart from mediocre ones. and the servers and bus boys are all trained very well. In our case, Jimmy gave us the specials and made recommendations; we didn't even open our menus the first time there. Try the specials and ask about off menu options-- you won't be disappointed."

"I been to this restaurant about 4 times. The food is really good here and the service is great. My wife and i had dinner on Valentine's Day at il Sogno. My wife had the il Sogno Chicken that i tried and it was delicious. I had the short ribs which was also very good. The only damper on the evening was that the fire alarm went off and was ringing for about five minutes. Beside that hiccup, the place is awesome for a romantic dinner with you significant other."

"The restaurant was very quiet as we were the only guests when we arrived. Two other couples followed later but that was it. They had a lot of specials and the food was good.
