Gemelli's Restaurant
Ristorante Gemelli is a unique dining experience in Italian dining, bringing the best of North and South Italian cuisine in a comfortable, delightful atmosphere.
Ristorante Gemelli is the natural progression from the family's gourmet food market down the street which has been a staple in Babylon since 1988 and has been a Mecca for fine Italian food on the South Shore. Gemelli Fine Foods and Ristorante Gemelli is family owned and operated.
Ristorante Gemelli opened its door in 1997. It is tastefully decorated in the Mediterranean style with subdued lighting, cream colored walls with sea foam green and brick accents, and atrium with high ceilings and gracefully draped curtains. Candle lit tables and Italian music softly playing in the background add a romantic touch to this comfortable, airy dining room, one of the prettiest on Long Island. Both the quality of the food and the restaurant's atmosphere combine to ensure that guests have a positive experience.

"Went for restaurant week and service was not great,seemed short staffed. Everyone enjoyed their dinner. Salads rated a thumbs up. Skirt steaks were good but not done as ordered. Crab cakes had a good amount of crab in them. Will give it a try again."

"Our experience was wonderful. Love the atmosphere. The waiter Ben could not have been any better. He was respectful, cordial and very helpful. He was totaling experienced. Helped one of the ladies in our group take pictures with her new IPAD, she was totally clueless on how it worked. I tried to let the owner of the restaurant know that it was our group asking Ben for help with the pictures. It was not him wasting time in taking our order. The food was excellent. The service was great. I visit Gemilli's with an another group friends for Happy Hour,and find best deal in Babylon Village. Your prices are affordable during the week, we are greatful for that. Love to go when there is entertainment during the week at Happy Hour."

"The service and the ambiance was outstanding. The food was not as good as I expected it would be. The raw oysters were excellent though. The grilled salmon dinner was okay. I have actually had better salmon at Chili's! The side of horse radish mashed potatoes was really creamy and had a nice subtle horse radish flavor."

"Excellent food! The specials that day were incredible. (The salad had en expresso dressing?!? - tasted outstanding) The manager and waiters were also incredibly friendly and attentive - making sure we were taken care of the whole night.
Went with two friends of ours from out of town because we wanted to show them a good time. This restaurant did not disappoint. Excellent service. Will definitely be back."

"Medicore and overpriced wine list. The wine that we selected was wrong vintage-If you plan on charging soo much for a low end bottle at least get that part correct. Food was very plain, although not horrible, it lacked any uniqueness. Waitress was very good considering the limited resources she had available to her. The restaurant was decorated fairly well but this place seems to be confused as to what it really is. Many better options as far as higher priced Italian restaurants in the area."
