"Don't let the kind of tidcky tacky house fool you. The inside is far different than the outside. Food is superb along with the service which is competent and friendly. Prices can become aa little high if you get carried away haing too many of the wonde3rful courses that the chef offers but an outstanding dinner can be had very reasonably. Live music consisted of a quiet guitarisat playing in the background and did not disturb. De3finitely a go back to place. We have driven by it thousands of times and never did try. Our loss."

"Certainly not a "beach" restaurant! The service was attentive but not intrusive, and the food was very good. I'd call it "modern Italian" ... not quite "adventurous" but certainly not "checked-table cloth Italian" either. The lobster bisque was perfect, as was the tiramisu (a "light" version that was still satisfyingly tiramisu-like without being at ponderous)."

"We had a reservation for early on a Friday evening. when we arrived we heard that they had live music, which the hostess proceeded to sit us next to. I hate live music while eating dinner. So we asked to be moved to a quieter spot.
As a result none of the servers thought we were their table apparently. They saw us, but no one spoke to us. We waited for like 10 minutes until finally I went to the bar to get my own drinks. Then they figured it out.
The menu is mostly Italian, and the food was quite good, but definitely not amazing. The service was very good once they got it straight. I'd try it again I think."

"What a fantastic find in Cocoa! The food, service and ambiance were absolutely wonderful. Our party of six sat at the chef's table and enjoyed every bit of our dining experience from the authentic Italian salads, seafood, steak and fresh pastas. The live music was perfect; great mix of songs at a perfect volume. We will definitely be regulars here!"

"This is by far the best restaurant in Melbourne. The food is what I would expect to get in a large city not here. This eclipses the old Mango Tree, Yellow Dog, Chart House, Dove, Continental Flame (or Dijons) for the food by far. The ambiance of the Yellow Dog is a bit better. If you dont try this and you live in Melbourne you have missed out."

"We had a wonderful dinner last weekend! I surprised my husband for a special anniversary. I had been there one other time with my Mom and the waiter remembered before I said anything which was very nice. Allen was our waiter and he was fantastic! We had the Italian Black Truffle Paste Bruschetta which was so decadent and delicious! I had one of the specials - the NY strip with a balsamic reduction and Hawaiian Sea Salt - it was melt in your mouth incredible. My husband had the Mezzaluna pasta with caramelized onions and truffle oil - amazing! After dinner we went to the bar for dessert and limoncello. We had the Carpacio d'ananas - one of the best desserts we've ever had! We highly recommend The Mango Tree! We'll be back!"

"The food was awesome. The grilled caeser salad was a novelty and very good. Mitch and Audra (our servers) were always there at the right time. The only surprise was that I was charged for the glass of wine that I knocked over but seeing that it was my fault I can't fault the restaurant. We are looking forward to being seated at the "Chef's Table" next time."

"This was our first (of what will be many) visit to the Mango Tree. We live in Ormond Beach and had some friends coming in for the day on a cruise ship. So we made a reservation at the Mango Tree. What a delightful surprise. Everything...and I mean EVERYTHING was absolutely delicious. From the steaks to incredible pasta and desserts...our entire party was blown away with how good the food was. Service from Steven was amazing as well. I will definitely be back to the Mango Tree!"

"Was looking for an upscale place for a birthday celebration. This place left me embarrassed and disappointed. I heard the back of the restaurant had a nice pond with fish, and a patron commented that there used to be swans out there. The only thing I saw was a SNAKE! The waiter was very nice but did not know the wine menu, nor did he go find anyone to ask. The calamari was overcooked. The steak and mushroom entree had a delightful steak, but the sides were lacking. The clams and linguine had about 4 strands of linguine with it. All the while, a couple in their 50s were making out at the table next to us. Yuck. Finally, the birthday guitarist played Happy Birthday to me instead of the birthday person!"

"Friendliness, service, and ambiance very good. We were able to communicate easily at our table. Three diners in our group had different fish or Italian meals for dinner. Salad was small but good. Lobster bisque very good with large chunks. One person had the steak special for that evening and was disappointed in that it was under cooked to his desire and there were numerous amounts of hard grizzle which had to be put in napkin and placed on suide of plate. It also came with a form of potato [ very small portion ] on a side plate and it was just barely warm. Spinach tasty but seemed alot like the frozen kind you get at a supermarket. Again I felt the food could come out much warmer, but that might just be my preference. Dessert great"

"We had been to this restaurant two weeks ago and had a wonderful meal with wonderful service, soooo we brought guests from Washington DC who are great and accomplished restaurant goers. The food was excellent, the waiter rushed us to the point we had to hold onto our plates. We were very uncomfortable with his rushing us thru our meal and would have liked to stay awhile. Also the table this time was right by the bar and everyone walked by our table as they entered."

"My girlfriend and I booked The Mango Tree for Valentine's Day through Open Table. We're from Northern California, have eaten at a lot of great restaurants, and really didn't know what to expect in Cocoa Beach. We were just stunned by presentation and quality of the special menu that day. The home-made ravioli starter, the filet mignon and lobster-tail entree and the chocolate mousse were each very special. Kudoos to the chef!"

"This establishment was a great find for us. Italian fare with flair. The dishes were very good with the exception of the veal chop, which had little flavor. Also, beware the "market price". I thought $48 to be a little over the top for any entree. All things considered, the restaurant is very nice with terrific service and an unique menu."

"Disappointing visit. We have been very pleased in the past, however, it was extrememly busy; service was way off. You can blame the fact that it was Valentine's weekend, but if you can't service the crowd, you shouldn't have that many tables. Especially at the price they charge. Sorry, we won't be back for a while."

"Suberb dining. The chef's entrees are superb. This is fine dining at a wonderful price. Lunch is the hidden gem. This has been some of the finest dining on the SpaceCoast.! The wild mushroom soup is superb. The lobster ravioli magnificent. The chef allows your palet to run wild! One of my top 3 restaraunts on the SpaceCoast."

"Our first visit to the Mango Tree won't be our last. We very much enjoyed the quiet, elegant ambiance. The service was attentive. I had the lobster ravioli, which I liked, and my husband had the roast chicken, which he liked a lot. I would definitely recommend the Mango Tree."

"We've never had a bad meal at The Mango Tree. Saturday night, we started by sharing one of the specials, lobster potato salad. It was delicious and included big chunks of lobster. I had the grouper special. The sauce included black olives, onions, and cherry tomatoes. The fish was served over spinach and mashed potatoes. The grouper was perfectly cooked and the topping, which sounds very boring in my description, was wonderful. My husband had the salmon, which is on the menu. The salmon is sauteed and served with a topping of candied fennel. It was excellent. We topped off the meal with pistachio gelato, made on-site. A perfect ending to a great meal. And a word of praise to our servers, Audra and Bill."

"The Mango Tree Restaurant is an absolute gem! The chef is a master with flavors & textures. Everything is homemade including pasta, sauces & bread. Food selection is varied from meat, fish, seafood & pasta. The service is outstanding; ambiance wonderful.
