"I can't remember the name of that salad I had last Saturday, but it was top of my list. Very good mix of greens, lemon based dressing, cripy prosciutto, and an egg. So good."

"Our server was amazing and has given our family a new phrase..."Marfa Martini Lady" she was so diligent and concentrated as she brought us the best martinis in TX without slipping a drop...all through a crowded bar..."

"I have always enjoyed Maiya's and make it part of my Marfa experience. The food is good - sometimes great depending on how crowded the restaurant is. Go, enjoy, and make reservations."

"My 30 year old daughter enjoyed Maiya's last month while she was in Marfa for a wedding. She recommended we try it while on our trip last week. We are so glad she told us to go there - the food was delicious and the atmosphere great. We had the fennel salad, the spinach lasagne and desert. The bread was fabulous too. We will also recommend Maiya's. A must for visitors."

"When in Marfa you need to go to Maiya's. Homemade pastas. Salads with great mixture of ingredients. Not sure how all of this fresh food gets to Marfa Texas (many, many miles away from a major city), but Maiya kicks it out of the park."

"We had a very good dinner here Standouts were the Mushroom Lasagna and the Celery Root salad. The only disappointing thing was that they were out of several things on the menu. Service was especially efficient and friendly."

"A very disappointing experience. We sat at our table for 20 minutes before the server even came over to get our drink orders and then it took another 10 minutes to get the drinks. We had to ask for a basket of bread. The waiter was brusque and completely disinterested in describing the dishes and seemed like he didn't want to be bothered by us. The salad was good, but not very complementary to the Italian style of the main dishes. The pasta with mushrooms was ordinary and not something in any way special or imaginative. The restaurant seemed cavernous and uninviting, no attention to detai lor atmosphere in the decor, table settings or the way the dishes were served. We were expecting a much more creative and inviting environment."

"Second night in a row to dine here. Food was great. The service lacking. First, it took fifteen minutes to get our bottle of wine. We were kind and understanding. We also were understanding when our app got held up for well over thirty minutes. We mentioned, though, that we were almost out of wine because of the delay. We didn't see our waitress again, as someone else ran our dinner to us. Then, we sat without wine and our finished plates forever. Plates were cleared and we sat with nothing to drink or eat while it took over half an hour to get our check. I generally love this place and have dined here a dozen or more times, but this really ruined my evening...."
