"We had a great dinner at the Allegheny Grill on a Saturday night. Had reservations so we had a great window seat but would not have needed to call ahead. Good varied menu, not too many choices but with plenty of variety. Service was great."

"The Scenic View is awesome and the food has always been top notch but I have always had to wait for reservations. I would recommend it as long as you are not in a hurry but when you come to this restaurant you need to enjoy the area and relax."

"Our dinner was delicious and lacked nothing. My husband had a cheeseburger and fries and I had the tenderloin medallions. We both went away stuffed. For appetizers, we had french onion soup and the loaded nachos. Both were very good. We have eaten here on several occasions and have not been disappointed."

"My husband and I came for a weekend getaway....We loved everything about the restaurant and atomsphere...We were seated by the window overlooking the river...very romantic!!!! "My husband took me here for the first time for a "date" night. The atmosphere is nice, quiet, and the scenic overview is pretty. Our waitress introduced herself and then proceeded with going over the specials for the evening, which she obviously didn't know, and fumbled over horribly. We both settled on one of the specials she had explained. Later another table was seated beside us and another waiter took that table. He obviously knew the specials VERY well, could explain each dish, and he also listed to the table, several other dishes that our waitress had not given us the option of choosing. My husband and I looked at each other and said "that would have been nice to know, we would have chosen that", otherwise our meal was good."

"We dined as a family of 5, celebrating our youngest daughter's graduation from Clarion University. This restaurant was a recommendation from a local resident as we do not live locally. We were delighted with the food, ambience and service. Would definitely revisit if the opportunity presents itself. The area is very quaint and so pretty along the river. This dining experience put a happy ending to a special day for our family. We enjoyed our food and the only reason that I didn't give it 5 stars was because my husband's vegetables were not warm. His plate was the only one with this problem."

"My wife and I had our first visit to the Allegheny Grille on Saturday, May 11, 2013.
We started off with the New England Clam Chowder and Spring Mix Salad. The chowder was very flavorful - but a bit cold. The salad was excellent - tasty with fresh ingredients.
For dinner, my wife ordered the Chicken Marsala and I ordered the Fire Grilled Alaskan Salmon. We both had the Roated Red Pepper Penne as a side dish. Other than being a bit cold - our main dishes were excellent. A few larger tables that came in after us received thier main courses before we did. This could explain why our food was a little cold - but it wasn't unbearable. Overall, we liked the restaurant and will more than likely visit again. Hopefully the service will be better."

"Monthly gathering of a group of teacher friends. We enjoy $5 burger night with the great pickles..yum We have had as many as 10 friends for the evening with a trip to the wine store and chocolate shop. Great night with great friends. Very good service. We will be back."

"Nice place with GREAT view overlooking the Allegheny River. The Planked Salmon special was excellent. Clam Chowder was excellent. Portions are big, service excellent. Great place to go when you're looking for something different and out of the way. Highly recommend Allegheny Grille!"

"We have been the the AG before and have never been disappointed. The service is excellent and the food outstanding. The restaurant was quite busy and our table was right in the middle of the room, but we also had our privacy. I would highly recommend this for any time of dining."

"I would recommend this dining experience for all to enjoy. The wait staff was excellent, the cuisine was cooked and presented perfectly. Seafood dishes were some of the best I have ever enjoyed. The view was beautiful and everybody in our party can't wait to come back in the spring to enjoy the outdoor seating and atmosphere!"

"We spent the weekend in Foxburg to get away from the hustle and bustle of our busy life in the city. We ate here 3 times in one weekend and the food was delicious each time. "We started out with a reservation for 6, had to up it to 8 then that day it grew to 13! The Manager was very accomdedating and got our large group into the bar area. We really appreciated it! Our server was a little forgetful but nothing worth complaining about. Food was good and being in the bar area we were able to talk and laugh without disturbing other diners."

"Was very disappointed in the restaurant, had heard nothing but good things and was looking forward to dinner. Ordered the prime rib was the toughest steak I ever had, re-ordered the filet with blue cheese, filet was good, blue cheese was over the top too much. Person I was with had the buffet and was disappointed, did not like anything but the coleslaw."
