"Service was prompt. Food saw simply delicious and fish was sooo fresh! Wonderful ambiance with an attentive staff. Food was pricey but worth it! Next time I think we will skip the wine due to the fact that the bottle was almost 3x the amt of usual price tag! Other than that, we had a wonderful dinner and we will definitely return!!!"

"I reserved a table online for lunch for my wife's day. I wrote a note asking for a
B day dessert for my wife just to surprise her, unfortunately the phone company was
there fixing the lines so we didn't get it. Me and my wife had our lunch. Both of us had a 3 course
Meal and enjoyed every bit of it. I forgot about the day dessert!! I paid the bill and we left. As we were
Driving out of the parking lot....the hostess walked out holding a bottle of champagne and stopped me from driving,she apologized saying they just got the note and handed my wife the bottle and said to her HAPPY BDAY! We were both amazed !! A bottle instead of a glass??! First of all Food was GREAT but customer satisfaction is amazing!"

"Took mom for dinner at Oceanos. We arrived early but they were able to seat us while we were having a drink at the bar. It was very crowded but I expected it due to the Mother's Day dining. Food was good as was the service.
I thought it was a little overpriced for the location and nondescript ambiance (it's Fair Lawn not NYC). Too many tables made it very tight and loud. Parking lot is also too small."

"It was my first time visiting.. by searching street view to find it from google wasn't so all exciting since the outside of building seems smaller and older. but once we got in, the place is modern, clean and sophisticated. Foods were great. we got dozen of oysters, greek salad, fried soft shell crabs and pink snapper. Oysters seemed fresh, soft shell crab was fantastic! Great music selection. I would def. go back."

"Looking for a special restaurant in the area, and being from long Island I left my hands in the reviews and the internet. Oceanos did live up to its great reviews. The food was prepared well, tasteful and very well presented. The service was spot on and you can see its definitely a hot spot by how many cars pulled in and out on a given Saturday night. Its a little pricey and a little noisy but with drinks, appy's & deserts its what I expected for a good dining experience. The noise level was also expected when I saw the crowd and dining floor it can't be helped. One HUGE note; I requested a quiet & romantic spot for a first date and the staff must have read my note and took care to pay attention and be prepared with a perfect table."

"My wife and I went to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and the service was excellent. The entire staff, from the host, to the bartender, and of course out waitress we're extremely polite and personable. Turns out, there were several other wedding anniversaries being celebrated on that night by other random couples, so it goes to show how many people consider the restaurant to be a great place to celebrate a special moment. Tip to anyone who goes - order the mojito. It's off the charts!"

"As usual Oceanos did an outstanding job. We usually do not go out for Easter dinner because most restaurants have seatings and a special menu. Not so with Oceanos. They were totally booked but the management and waitstaff was super efficient as usual. They had their regular menu plus specials and we never felt rushed. There were 6 of us and everyone was completely satisfied with their meals and the service.
Our favorite place to dine with a group or just the 2 of us."

"The food was very good and the service was very good as well. Oysters were very fresh and tasty. The chilean sea bass was fresh but a little under seasoned. The sides that came with the sea bass was a little unsatisfying and also underseasoned. The mussels were very meaty and melted in your mouth. "We had the swordfish special with mango salsa and the Chilean Sea Bass special with roasted root vegetables. Both great. Save room for the wonderful apple truffle with warm phyllo and apples served with ice cream. The good service and wine list plus fresh seafood makes Oceanos a favorite of ours."

"First time here. Great selection of Oysters if that's you're thing. Had the wood grilled Swordfish which was soft and cooked very well. My fiance had the special for the night, which I believe was a snapper. It came out okay. Wine list is a little light, but acceptable. I will be visiting again."

"I decided to take my girlfriend out for valentines day so I wanted to do something enjoyable and pleasing to show how much she means to me. I searched the internet to find romantic restaurants and this Oceanos kept on appearing, for good reason that is. The atmosphere was welcoming and the service was good. The food was marvelous and impressive, definitely worth every penny. The lamb chops were tender and juicy and my girlfriend certainly enjoyed her steak salmon. We will certainly return to try more dishes."

"Food is unreasonable expensive and portions of main dinner are very small. After spending 50$ on dish you can have only a couple of bites of lobster tale. Vegetable sides are charged separately, even thou this type of arrangements does not appear in menu. After spending 150 $ on one dinner for 2, food may not even be enough.Dining area is small and tables are so tight, that it is impossible to carry private conversation. Service and desert are nice, but this is not enough reword to get, when you are going to a restaurant with your significant other, especially on Valentine’s Day dinner."
