"After an afternoon hike with the dog at Ft. Funsten we checked out OT for a new restaurant close by. The reviews seemed good and there were other locations as well. We were hesitant given the other reviews citing it was in the ghetto. Well it was far from a bad area for sure-well gentrified- it was pleasant. The food was excellent. Crisp, not greasy empanadas with sauce; luscious ceviche-quite a healthy portion of fresh shrimp and fish; rotisserie chicken was so moist and tender!!!! the sauce trio was a treat lovely short rib small plate with perfectly cooked veg could have been a meal. The Sangria and signature sake cocktail were tasty and well balanced. would highly recommend this spot!!"

"Modest prices for good roast chicken and fries. Friendly service. Wonderful Sangria. A good neighborhood spot for tasty, inexpensive dinner in a casual, friendly atmosphere. Easy parking."

"My friend and I treated ourselves to a weekday lunch. Parking was easy in a garage. The high ceilings, floor to ceiling glass windows, cool tones, concrete floor, and sleek dinnerware created a modern vibe. We found the list of cocktails exciting but settled for refreshing strawberry lemonade being a workday. We enjoyed the light crispy beef empanadas chock full with filling, the moist signature chicken, the sweet potato fries, and the lightly grilled vegetable assortment. Another highlight was the service. Accommodation in describing the dishes, refreshing our water, efficiency in meal preparation, and pleasant smiles were key. Small details down to which take out bag was hers and mine were appreciated. We highly recommend this place!"

"I love Limon! I have been to the one on Van Ness and just tried the one in Bay View. The one on Van Ness is always booked on weekends. So I tried the Bayview location, perfect. I was able to make reservations for Saturday on a Friday and when I arrived I was greeted by the hostess. He sat me down without having to wait for my party to arrive, even though, they arrived shortly after. We ordered quickly and the food arrived within minutes. Great service and same quality as their other locations. I think people just don't know about the location, but it's a great spot to check out."

"Food is AMAZING: i suggest the empanadas (we tried all 4) - the chicken is a must and so is the beef: definitely recommend the place. Location is ok near the ghetto area there is no street parking. The place is small yet cozy, we got our table fast, the service was good with friendly staffs. Service was a bit slow, or they were short staffed. I liked that they have free wifi and its not so noisy inside where you wouldnt have to yell just to talk to the person sitting across from you."

"Unlike other Limon locations in San Francisco, the one in Bayview offers exactly the same food and service without any wait and with plenty of parking and quieter ambience. If you don't care for the waiting and dilemma with parking, this is definitely the Limon."

"Great food. Everything is solidly delicious! The ceviche is the best you'll get in the city.
This Limon location is quieter than the others, better for having a conversation and less good for feeling cool.
This area of Bayview looks perfectly nice, modern and clean. It's a little unnerving that the streets are empty at night. But don't be scared off simply because of the name of the neighborhood"

"I work in South San Francisco and this isn't too far. It's just 2 exits away. They have plenty of free parking. Restaurant has modern decor and an engergetic vibe. Food was good. We had ceviche mixto which has a simple and clean taste. The seafood they used was very fresh, and the big kerneled corn had a toothy texture to it, which I love. We had the chicken empanadas, which was good, and the Jalea, which was ok. Service was very friendly and attentive. Finished dishes were cleared and drinks refilled in a timely and unintrusive manner. Prices are reasonable. We'll definitely be back."

"Valentines Day! The place was packed! Luckily, we had made reservations well in advance. Lots of people, but everyone in good spirits and quite a few families, as well as couples, in the house. Every table was occupied, and stayed that way for hours. The kitchen was incredibly busy, positively slammed, but still managed to get out our favorite dishes, perfectly executed, in a reasonable amount of time. We ordered the Rotisserie Chicken, salad, rice, the braised short ribs, the truffle mac and cheese, and mango lemonade. Despite the kitchen chefs working multiple orders, all our food came to our table hot, perfectly cooked and delicious!"
