"Another nice evening at the Jazz Kitchen. We had a very good dinner (one of the evening specials) and the music - the Icarus Ensemble - was excellent. It's nice to see ISO and academic musicians in a jazz format. The Ensemble was great!

"The place was great overall, the music was great and the service was very good. The food was nice, I would have liked to maybe have a couple of more options on the menu, but the food was cooked very well. In the future I would love to see ya have a bigger place with more parking options. I feel the Jazz Kitchen is deserving. My first experience and we are defenetly coming back."

"We have a couple that we dine with at least once a month, each take turns picking the place. This month was my turn, and I am soooo very pleased with my selection! Our waiter was great, food was amazing and the entertainment kept us moving! I highly recommend The Jazz Kitchen!"

"The food was very good. The trio was very enjoyable. The only downside was the chatty ladies a couple tables over who talked through the first 4 songs. They finally shut up when their food arrived. That is the only downside to this very intimate jazz club."

"Ambiance and entertainment... this could be Greenwich Village or Chicago, though we're proud to savor this gem in Broad Ripple. Good food (treat yourself to the White Chocolate Blueberry Bread Pudding), attentive service, and a cozy venue for fine jazz set the stage for our weekend. Joe McBride completed the setting with an intimate sharing of his keyboard and vocal gifts befitting a national recording artist relaxing in one of his "back yard" pied-a-terre."

"I went to the Jazz Kitchen and saw Kyle Eastwood (Clint's son) play jazz bass, both upright and electric, who is a phenomenal musician, and his band members are also outstanding musicians in their own right. I am a musician too, and I have worked with very good bass players, but I have never seen a bass player who just became "one" with his instrument! Their show was so well-done that even their communications with the audience fit into a schedule that was so vibrant that the time just flew by and before you knew it the show was over and you were still wanting more and more!"

Called to increase reservations to 10 the night before, host was not very accomodating and somewhat Rude! Waitress was very nice. Jazz Kitchen had 3- $8 dinner specials. Once food was ordered it took a while to prepare and bring to the table. I ordered the Cajun Tilapia not very tasty. Overall Experience was O.K."

"Jazz Kitchen opens at 5 p.m. If you are in before 8 p.m. on a Monday, they offer three dinner options for $8 each. The crab stuffed lobster tail, veggies on side, and rolls were sooo good! There's dimmer lighting, so it makes it more intimate and fun. Jazz begins later in the evening, and if you sit in front, every one is respectful, quiet, and listening. My friend and I sat at the bar so we could socialize, and the jazz in the back ground was nice! There isn't a cover on Monday nights."

"After having spent last spring in NYC, my wife and I were thrilled to find the Jazz Kitchen. The food was only enhanced by the fabulous service and the incredible jazz music. Get reservations because this place is no secret, but it's definitely worth it!"

"The food and music were amazing. We sat right up to the stage. The one disappointment was the service. Our waiter took the order and we waited over an hour to get the food but again, we weren't about to go anywhere since we were there for the music. Additionally, the waiter would not check on us very often. We wanted dessert but after waiting so much, decided that we'd go elsewhere for it. Overall a great place."

"One question for the restaurant, our reservations were for 7 pm; however, when we arrived the band was starting. Our party of 5 arrived between 7 and 7:20 pm. Should we have arrived 15 minutes before the reservation? This was our first time to go and felt like we were bothering the more experienced guests.
We enjoyed the music and loved the food!"

"I am a little bias since I am a sax player. THe Jazz kitchen is my favorate place on earth!!! The ambiance. The food and service is always....perfect. The place has been beautifully upgraded. Most importantly, They play real jazz music. Yes they have salsa night and the occassional smooth jazz,et al. But they are committed to JAZZ alive and so am I."

"Just an FYI if you make reservations for two you may not be sitting alone! We were actually seated with 3 other couples. Thankfully we are very outgoing but others may not appreciate the company. I think there should be some type of notification on the site about this. The food was Outstanding!! The crab chowder was beyond amazing and the Creme brûlée was spectacular!"

"My second time here; food still great but band and atmosphere were lacking. We only come when we are passing through town and this time the band was horrible. The main act was a guitar player that not only wasn't good but did not mesh with the local band members that out-shined him in every way. It was borderline uncomfortable. At $26 just to walk in the door it was not worth it. Their food remains great with good portion sizes. My wife loves Jazz but we may only come back for dinner if there is no cover charge."
