"Extremely slow service. We went for brunch and the omelette was almost cold when it was served. There was no reason for this since the other entrees were cold platters. The iced tea served was obviously old and had an off taste. The food was unmemorable.
Other diners were complaining very loudly about their wait for food.

"Food was excellent. Sat outside and a radio was on the whole time at the outside bar. It was a talk show about sports and was annoying and too loud. There were no patrons at the bar so this was on just for staff. Even though the food was great, although a bit pricy, I wouldn't go back due to the radio ruining the ambiance."

"Went to the restaurant for brunch. Granted, we were towards the end of the "brunch buffet" window having an early afternoon reservation. However, the food was so terrible. Pancakes... hard. French Toast... also hard. Breakfast potatoes: very dry and severely overcooked. Mixed green salad: warm. Fingerprints all over the buffet pans and utensils. All in all, a very disappointing experience. We will never go back."

"Not a favorite any more. The Farm House has been a favorite of our since it opened. We have had many wonderful dinners and lunches there and reccomended it to many people.
Not now. The service was very slow, 45 minutes until our entrees arrived. We watched tables around us order and eat after we had ordered. Then when the bill arrived they had counted our 4 year old granddaughter as the 5th person and added an automatic gratuity. The service was certainly not to the usual standards."

"We were seated close to the very loud bar and in order to talk we had to practically yell. The waitress was VERY unattentive and made you feel that everything was too much trouble. The food is WAY overpriced. Will not be going back!"

"This was quite a nice surprise. For being on a golf course the restaurant was quaint, romantic and very quiet. Food was by far better than I ever would have expected, menu is somewhat limited but certainly worth trying. I wouldn't suggest this if you're just looking for a burger and a beer type of dinner though. They had wonderful apps that you can make into a meal which is exactly what I did. This is someplace we would definitely go back to again and again."

I can not re comment the meatloaf which was interesting in how it was prepared ( the only reason for my ordering it). The squash soup ( usually a favorite of mine) was entirely bland. "We love the Farm House. The food always great. I had the pumpkin ravioli, which was very tasty. I added chicken but did not end up eating it because the dish was better on its own. My husband had the braised short ribs, which were also very good but the polenta was a little bland. The freshly baked warm rolls are always a treat with the herbed butter. Will definitely be back."

"We loved the ambiance of the place and the dining room and the roaring fire added to the charm. The pre-dinner rolls were delicious and the wait service was really on the ball. The vegetables with dinner were nicely roasted and prepared, but we were disappointed that both of our dinners were quite over-cooked and the sauce with the tuna that was described as ginger-soy tasted only of soy sauce."

"Love this restaurant..so cozy, yet classy environment. Have always had great meals here but our last visit was spoiled when two of our group got the shrimp/fusilli special. They rated it fair..tasteless...nothing spectacular. I had the crab cake which was superb and my other friend had the salmon, also delicious. Great service from Deena, our waitress, and atmosphere is warm and cozy. As the dining area filled up, it became a little noisier but not annoying. Overall, I'd still come back...that special was a fluke, I guess."

"This is close to my house so decided to try something new. Friendly greeter and lovely restaurant. Seated by the fireplace and had calamari that was outstanding!! Glass of wine was only $5.00 a glass and tasty. Had the salmon and I'm sorry to say but it was kind of dry and potatoes were bland. The glazed carrots were great. My husband had the special which was pasta and shrimp. Pasta was a little hard and it too bland but not bad. Had an awesome waitress who was very attentive. Overall me and my husband enjoyed ourself. Would consider going back."
