"When we got there, of course our table wasn't ready which was fine since we did arrive 10 minutes early. So the hostess suggested that we go to the bar and grab a drink an she would come get us. After waiting almost 30 minutes (well after 9pm), we checked on our table, and the hostess said "oh, we have two tables that just opened up". Oh, of course you did. Other than that rudeness, dinner/food was wonderful!"

"Truluck's in Southlake is a great place to eat and enjoy and important evening. The service is always fantastic. As an example, I like my tea a way that they don't normally provide it. They go to another restaurant in the same area and get tea for me. Excellent service! The food is always prepared perfectly."

"W went here for our anniversary, and this was the perfect place to celebrate.
The food was outstanding. From the bread, the soup, the entree and we even got a free Molten Cake that was dedicated to us for our 4th Anniversary. Just top notch service.
The service was phenomenal. Cobra Rob was a total delight with wonderful knowledge of the menus, great suggestions and very professional. Keep on top of things and check how we were doing on each course.
We'll definitely be back for more occasions here. Just wonderful."

"My family and I chose to celebrate my Mother's Day outing the Saturday evening before Mother's Day. I prefer celebrating the day before due to the huge crowds, rushed service, and preplanned menus. This dining experience at Truluck's was wonderful! Service was great, a very nice table, and the food was very good too! Elizabeth our server, was both very nice and professional. This dining experience was one to the best we have had at Truluck's Southlake."

"This is my 2nd time visiting Trulucks and it gets better each time. My wife loves the wine selection and the Matini selection is great! I would recommend the Crab Cakes as an appitizer if you decide to go to Trulucks and also the the Crispy Shrimp!. IThe setting is very romantic and the food is great. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for a nice quiet romantic setting for an Anniversary or Date night with your mate."

"I've been to Trulucks at several locations and without a doubt, this visit was awesome. Our waiter was the absolute best as she knew just when to check on us without being a nuisance.
Our food was both delicious and hot from the kitchen. Mike, one of the managers, came by to greet us and welcome us back to the restaurant.
Just an absolutely flawless night. Great job to everyone at Truluck's Southlake."

"Great seafood!! We enjoyed the stone crab so much!! My wife had the Sea Bass, cooked to perfection! I had a specialty filet, The Dynamite, cooked great, loved the topping, but the blackening seasoning was way too salty, and made it harder to enjoy. Overall live this place regularly!"

"It's Stone Crab season so it's all you can eat Mondays. The deal was slightly more expensive than previous years, but now it includes sides, soup and salad, making it an even better deal. Along with the stone crab, we had the seared sea bass which was prepared perfectly and the crab cakes. They have the best crab cakes, but unfortunately I can't say the same for the crab mac & cheese. Our waitress was very nice and always attentive to our needs without always asking, "how is everything". Just another great experience at Truluck's."

"This was the first time ever when dining out I was compelled to leave no tip because everything was so bad. This was a huge disappointment as prior experiences had been wonderful. I didn't see the same manager in the restaurant. There was a new manager who didn't even bother to stop by our table although he stopped at every other table in our area, and that was before things got bad. Our server promised many times to bring bread and then even after being asked, still failed to bring it until she brought our entrees. Then our entrees were cold because it was at least 20 minutes from when she said our dinners were coming right up. This server & manager should not be working in a restaurant like Truluck's but maybe at Chili's or Olive Garden."

"We were a little disappointed with the experience considering how much we spent. Our server was good, not outstanding. Little details overlooked, no bacon on the bacon wedge salad, not enough salad dressing. Wine selection not avaialable but it was in the flight, but that wasn't explained as an option. The dessert was free because we were celebrating a special occasion. I don't think I will be back any time soon. No manager ever checked on us."

"I made a reservation for 8:30 and arrived at 8:25. We waited 45 minutes for our table and then another hour for our dinner. My fiance ordered the miso sea bass and said it was really good. I ordered shrimp and found that it tasted like leather. Not in texture but the actual flavor. I guess I should have ordered something classier but I was disappointed that after all that wait and paying 30 dollars for my dinner that it would have been better."

"We went for our 21st anniversary dinner We told the hostess that is was our anniversary and she sat us in a comfy booth. The manager came by and wished us a happy anniversary and comped our deserts. "We just love dining at Truluck's. My wife and I enjoy going to the "hot" new dining spots in Dallas and Fort Worth, but somehow always find ourselves wanting to come back to Truluck's. The two things that are always consistent at Truluck's regardless of what day or time you go, is the service and quality of food. Some of the freshest and best tasting seafood, steak you can cut with a fork, and an extensive wine list to wash it all down. This trip was our first time not starting with the Stone Crab claws and instead elected to try the mussels appetizer. They were delicious and loved the crusty bread to dunk in the leftover sauce. My wife went for the sea bass, while I went for the trout."

"My wife and I celebrated our 11th Anniversary here. Our previous 10 years we had gone to Ruth Chris Steakhouse. Off all the steak places around Ruth Chris is by far our favorite. So we stepped outside the box. My wife ordered the 16oz Ribeye medium. It had way to much marble (especially for $46) and it was medium rare. I had the blackened pontchatrain. It was ok. The manager came out and they did offer to replace the steak with a Fillet and crab legs which was nice. Our server (wish I couls remember his name) was excellent!!! So was the Manager. All in all the food was just okay, but the service was outstanding. It was our first time there and I would give it another chance."

"Always delicious with great service! Had a friend in from Columbus OH so brought her to get the Dutch Harbor King Crab legs...she loved them! Had the Miso Glazed Sea Bass, Ahi Tuna, Sea Scallops with corn truffle? special and the Filet with seafood topping with Siracha sauce that was delicious! We love Siracha so that was such a nice surprise special! I hope they continue to do specials!"

"The ambiance of the restaurant was fantastic, and all of the wait staff was wonderful. I really loved the piano playing in the background. It added to the atmosphere, but it wasn't too loud for the dining experience. We were celebrating an anniversary dinner, and everyone was so nice and congratulatory. I would highly recommend this for a special occasion."

"Our waiter Taylor was very attentive. I had made a note when I reserved on Opentable that we were celebrating my daughters birthday and the manager came by and mentioned that and said they had something for her at the end of the meal. Food was excellent - my daughter had the crab legs, husband steak and I had the scottish salmon. The only problem was the temperature in the restaurant as both my daughter and I were cold and we both wore jackets. It was 73F outside. Cold inside."

"This was our second visit to Trulucks. I love crab and they have a number of crab dishes to choose from. I had the crab cakes which were amazing. The crab mac and cheese was also fabulous. My husband ordered the 10oz filet, medium, but it was more on the rare side so he had to send it back. It was a bit crunchy on the ends when he got it back. Not what you'd prefer for a $47 steak. Since it was our anniversary, they surprised us with a chocolate lava cake with cherries jubilee fired up tableside. Amazingly rich and decadent - loved it."

"Great food! I got a Cajun style fish and wanted to try their signature crab claws, so they let me buy just one claw. It was very good and I'll get the crab claws next time.
I got a free desert for my birthday and it was great. All of their deserts are huge and look great! Definitely a place where you order desert and tell the waiter to give you some now and box up the rest for later."
