The Blue Planet Grill (BPG) is extremely pleased to announce that
Sous-Chef Philliberto Jimenez from famed "River Cafe" Restaurant has now joined our passionate and devoted Culinary Team.
At BPG we take a lot of pride for providing our Customers with fresh
and exceptional quality products, so we are indeed thrilled and really
excited to have Sous_Chef Philliberto as a new addition to the Creative
Process in our venue, therefore on entire Staff's behalf we would like to extend to him our best wishes for Success in within our Group.

This comfortable spot, located at the corner of Albany and Greenwich, is destined to be a local favorite, for the food and cocktails like the Poquito Picante and Red Finance.

"I enjoyed my dinner at Blue Planet Grill, but the place is nothing to rave about. I hear that they are very busy during lunchtime, but that is because it's mostly filled with tourists. On a positive note- they've got a great happy hour (2 for 1, 5-7 pm everyday)."

"Overpriced food for what you get. May be better on a weeknight when the tourists are absent. We attended on a gorgeous Saturday afternoon and this may have been why the experience was less than stellar."

"We dined at Blue Planet after visiting the 9/11 Memorial on a rainy Tuesday. We were one of two tables seated for lunch and waited an hour for two turkey burgers to be served. They were delicious, but an hour wait??? The sweet potato fries that we ordered were overcooked and warm, not hot."
