Located in the heart of Napa Valley! 1 Mile North of Yountville on Highway 29. Take a walk around the grounds or through the vineyard after your meal. You are sure to fall in love with our property. We have 25 raised beds of herbs and vegetables that supply our kitchen on a daily basis so take a minute to stroll around and see what is ready to be harvested! If you are celebrating a Birthday, Anniversary, or other special occasion, please note that restaurant policy is to provide custom handwriting on the plate of the person celebrating when you order dessert.

"Our lunch at Brix will be life-long memory; it was bliss from start to end.
We were late , but they were patient and even offered us the highly desirable outdoor patio with a lovely view of the hills. Service was professional; deferential and cordial but friendly and never intrusive.
The food was exquisite and extremely reasonably priced for the caliber of the upscale cuisine. Try the crab salad or the tender-crisp tempura green bean starters. Nimon ranch ham melted in the mouth. After eating we toured their kitchen gardens out back, near a lovely open-air shady lounge area with outdoor furniture and a fountain. We spent over 2 hours at Brix overall and no one ever hurried us along. I wanted to move in! We'll be back ASAP."

"I've been to Brix quite a few times, mostly for brunch, and it's always been enjoyable. This time is no different. Food tastes fresh (French toast and desserts were delish) and it's a great look inside and out although the interior isn't as inviting. Love going here. We sat outside so the noise was on the quiet side."

"The food was delicious. Our server was friendly, helpful, funny... and didn't hover. It was BEAUTIFUL and the heat lamps on the patio made it possible for us to sit outside until after 9pm.
My ONE complaint - I made reservations a month in advance. Requested patio seating because we were celebrating. A couple arrived before us (we were 20 minutes early) and did NOT have reservations. They were told it would be 15 minutes for a patio table. We were then told the same thing... however we were not sat until 40 minutes AFTER our resevation time. The other couple was sat before us. Not a wonderful way to be treated."

"First time visit for my wife and me. Excellent job of hosting and seating. Really great bartending! Food was very good, we even think it's right in the mix with the best in Yountville for food. Our server was a big disappointment, though. She acted as though she was bored with the whole process, lacked energy, and really didn't seem to care about our experience. We'll be back soon and give them another shot. That's how good the food was."

"My family took me to Brix for my birthday dinner. We hadn't been to the wine country in ages, and we were looking for a scenic place with a patio and great food. It was so beautiful sitting on the patio, with the vineyards and gardens, hills and trees. Peaceful, serene, the perfect place for outdoor dining. All 4 of us were very happy with our dinners. The salad and vegetables were fresh from the garden. Our filet was delicious and the Pinot Noir suggested by the waiter was the perfect pairing. Our filets were a bit underdone for "medium" and a bit cool, but they quickly brought them back and they were the right doneness and temperature. It was truly a special dinner, one that I will long remember ... and hope to come back."

"The headline says it all. Food was spectacular, and certainly ample portions ( we read all the 'skimpy' gripes, simply not true. Wine list way, way overpriced and hard to find a reasonable bottle. Good for people looking for rare wines, but seems a shame in the land of wine not to have really good bottles in profusion under $100"

"After having a wonderful lunch one week before, we were underwhelmed with dinner. The food was good, as well as the wine list, but the service was MIA and it was a fairly slow night. Getting the server's attention during and after our dinner was a chore at best. We were very surprised given we had excellent service the previous week at lunch. With so many other options for dining, we would find it hard to come back in the future. We brought friends with us each visit and were a bit embarrassed the second time after touting the restaurant."

"We wrestled over which restaurant to hit in Napa and took a chance on Brix. Did not disappoint. Foood was amazing, the outdoor dining area was perfect and the backdrop was beautiful. "As always, fantastic food! My wife and I shared a crab cake and steamed Mussels as an appetizer - perfectly done and presented! She had the Swordfish entry and I had the Bay Scallops special with a side dish of Cheesy Polenta to share. Pairing the meal with a California Albarino, nothing could had been more perfect! "I had the flounder with pureed potatoes and spinach - while it was all delicious, the potatoes and spinach were literally drowned in butter. My husband had lamb and he said it very possibly the best lamb he had ever had.
My only real complaint is that the wine list is extremely overpriced. Just seems to me that in the heart of wine country, the wine should be more affordable. We ended up having a bottle of a French cote-du-rhone, which I think we paid around $40 for. This is generally $8-9 in our local wine shop."

"We had a wonderful dinner on the terrace, overlooking the flower/herb/vegetable garden. The sun was setting behind the distant mountains. There were vineyards too. I can't think of a better view! Our food was fresh, seasonal and perfectly presented. Our server gave us good advice on wine and some area must-see spots. Can't say enough good things about BRIX!!"

"We had a wonderful time at Brix! I took my fiancé there for brunch. I called the day before to ask for a special seat due to the occasion, and they put us at a noisy entrance...we wanted to eat outside, but since there was no space they moved us to another table. Besides that we are very, very happy to return and we have told about 10 other people verbally today about our positive experience."

"We loved this restaurant! The food was outstanding and the views of the hills and vineyards are gorgeous. I had the flounder and it was some of the best food I have ever had. It was too cold and windy for us to be able to eat outside but the patio looked lovely - I would love to go back and eat outside!"

"Charcuterie was bland at best. Pizza of the day with shrimp and ricotta was excellent. Croque-Monsieur did not knock off socks. For the price there are way better options in the area"

"The evening began with the host being quite rude to a couple who seated themselves while she was in the process of seating us. Our server was friendly and apologetic for delays, but our dining experience took forever. Every step of the process was a long wait. It may have been because it was a Wednesday night and the wait staff was short, but whatever the reason it was not a pleasant experience for us. The food itself was flavorful and good, but the other issues detracted from the overall experience"

"Brix's lunch menu is very limited (which can be a plus) and not very imaginative, but the food on our visit was pretty tasty. Go here to sit on the patio and have the best view in Napa: kitchen garden and vineyard in the foreground, mountains behind. Just gorgeous. Anything from the wood-fired oven should be good and this time I had a lamb bolognese, which was a twist and quite good, although a bit rich. The wine list prices are astronomical, so many seem to lean toward glasses instead. Not sure that ruse is working out so well for them."

"Brix is not, in my mind, a truly top of the line restaurant. It is a bit too casual for that - placemats instead of a table cloth, for example. But it is always and predictably good, food, service, and atmosphere. It is my favorite place in the valley for outdoor dining on a summer night. The gardens are truly lovely and always invite for a stroll between courses. There is a separate building for special events. I have seen someone have a wedding there and I have always thought it would be a wonderful place for a special event, especially in summer."

"Food was absolutely top notch delicious and pricing made it a great value. Among six of us, we ordered the flounder, rib eye, salmon and duck breast. None of them would be a misake. We all sampled three of the desserts ... perfection!
Wine list was a great representation, even including wines from outside of the Napa area. We enjoyed the Cornerstone Willamette Valley Pinot which was versatile enough to pair perfectly with just about any of the entrees we ordered.
Service was perfect, striking that balance between attentiveness without being intrusive. The hostess staff was terrificly cooperative and discrete in helping me pull off a surprise for my wife's 60th birthday: Our two out of town sons and their fiancees."

"Fantastic location just outside Yountville with fabulous view of the Napa landscape. Varied menu and delicious food. Swordfish with bone marrow sauce was probably the best swordfish we've every tried! However, the Flounder was well cooked but bland in flavor. Desert and appetizer excellent. Great wine list (but not cheap!) Attentive and prompt service."
