"The quality of the food seems inconsistent from week to week. They completely changed the menu and raised the prix fix special by $3. A week earlier I had a lovely meal with friends. This last time the fresh pasta was good but the sauce and meatballs were not as good. Also I had to send back the seafood ravioli since it was loaded with pepper. They graciously prepared another one for me from scratch which was not spicy."

"There is a new chef as of a week ago and a new menu as of May 1st 2013- very disappointing- one fish entree- and a total of 5 entrees - mostly burgers, a few salads and mostly burgers which also now come with nothing and the price was increased- overall there is nothing for me to eat here any more,. The entire dining room was fussing over the new menu and everyone agreed- bring back the old menu or at least some of them-. Dave- why did you do this? What are you thinking? Whatever ever happened to eating healthy and a yummy protein and veggie for dinner? great for a late night stop in - not for the neighborhood locals anymore..I wish he would have kept his great old menu and just given us all a price increase. Very disappointing! VERY!"

"My friends and I had a nice time at the restaurant. We enjoyed the food and the service. We had the pasta special which was a good value. The pasta choices were tasty. The calamari appetizer was light, tasty and not greasy. The bread and salad was good. The brownie was nice and warm, not too sweet and favored with cocoa which is how my friends and I liked it."

"Food was great! We had crab cakes, the sirloin entree and the rack of lamb entree. The only problem was how slow the service was. Staff was polite but unable to complete tasks in a timely fashion ."

"Delicious! Although the crowd is a bit aged, but that's not a bad thing, just something we weren't expecting. Great crab cakes!! We used a deal that gave us ~$70 worth of food for $32, which meant that we had a three-course meal, and the staff were very patient with us and brought everything out/cleaned up in a reasonably timely manner."

"This place stays in business because of regulars that have gone there forever. I counted only 4 other people under age 65. The garden salad was fresh, the Sesame Crusted Tuna was cooked properly but the Wasabi Soy sauce was strange. My Japanese friend was taken aback when they brought it to the table. The Wasabi was in the Soy sauce and neither were very good. The Crab Cakes were very good and the Sirloin was good. My steak came with hand cut potatoes that ranged from being overcooked to not cooked enough. Service was mediocre. It took 10 mins after being seated for a waitress (longer for the basket of bread), she never introduced herself and didn't ask if we had any questions. Didn't like the 18% tip being included in the bill."

"I love flavor and service and they were great at both. The prices were great and you get a discount for paying cash. I had risotto and it was delicious. I also left a bag there and they found it and saved it for me. I'll be back soon cause they have creme brulee and I was to full. The great thing is that the chef knew it wouldn't travel well. So I'll be back and I bought a group on for it."

"DELICIOUS FOOD! I was pleasantly surprised by how good the grilled salmon was. Pot sticker appetizers were delicious and the bourbon-pecan tart was also good. Waitress was very sweet and accommodating. Ambiance is laid-back - not fancy at all. Recommended if you're looking for delicious food and a relaxing night."

"The food is really good and the prices are very affordable- they just need to step up to the service ratings. We are a regular here and leave 20+ tip but the service is always an issue. You have to ask for water- you have to ask for additional glass of wine- you even have to remind them that you do not have silverware AFTER your food arrives and if you want more bread........you will be waiting. But nice people here and the food is more than decent."

"Under rated sleeper that consistently prepares French classics such as duck and lamb chops on a "working man's budget" Ambiance was lively with background lounge music which did not overpower our conversation. Crème brulee was excellent; fresh & not overly chilled the texture and consistency was perfect (two can share)."

"Used to LOVE Mumbles but the quality has gone wayyyy down. It used to be the nicest of the three sister restaurants but Benjamin and East of Eight are better. Very disappointing."
