"No matter the occasion, Alexander's is the perfect place. Food is always excellent. Service is friendly and informed. You NEVER feel rushed. They honor table requests (if possible). "Alexander's black bean soup is one of the best in town, so says my husband. Their entrees often have an original twist to them which makes them delicious. "The fish special and the other seafood dishes were wonderful. Unfortunately the crisp duck was dry, stringy and not very good. We were in a rush so I did not return it. Dinner was terrible, was seated in the corner bar table, the special fish of the evening was Hamachi, it was fishy, overcooked and not sliced properly. Overall, this restaurant is extremely disappointing! Don't go if your under 60 either....you'll be in the minority."

"We arrived at 6:15 and were told no seating outside available. However,a group of 4 came in after and did not like their inside table and complained and were seated outside. I discussed with the hostess twice and she gave me some "explanation" which was not acceptable. Our server was not knowledgeable and she had to ask another server over to explain some entrees. A long time for food to be served and another 4 top ate and left while we were there. Food delicious but we debate whether to return. This was not our first time as why we suggested to go their to friends but the attitude was uncomfortable. A disappointing eve."

"Our waiter was great, and very knowledgeable about the wine list. the food was delicious. it was a very busy night, and the staff handled it really well, and the restaurant was not too loud. the shrimp and the sauteed calamari appetizers were amazing. i had the grouper and it was perfect. the reason i gave the food 4 stars instead of 5, is that my friend's butterfish was slightly overcooked, and not as good as we've had at other restaurants. loved everything else."

"This was the second time in one week that I had dinner at Alexander's . The food is great. Both times I had fish. I loved the Macadamia encrusted grouper. On the next visit I had the Snapper and that was wonderful also.
The hostess was very accommodating . We originally had reservations to sit outside (6people) but it was so cold that she did whatever she could to seat us inside .
The hostess got a a table inside and we only had to wait a short time. The Resturant was busy that night but she was able to help us out.

"We had hoped to sit on the patio, which was requested when the reservation was made. Instead we were seated on the sidewalk outside of the landscaped patio. Although there were only two patio tables occupied at the time & the others were not occupied until 3/4 through our meal. We had heat lamps, but it was windy & no protection, Plus we were the only occupied table in outer Siberia. If the resturant did not have room for us, our reservation should not have been accepted.If the food was good, we were too annoyed to notice.We will not eat there again."

"We have never been disappointed in Alexander's. My friend and I had a lovely meal - mushroom strudel, delicious salads, and Red Snapper (for her) and Macadamia-Crusted Grouper (for me). Fantastic! Our waiter was excellent - knowledgable and gracious without being too pushy."

"Alexander's is a hidden gem off of Tamiami. The waiter was efficient and friendly. When I asked for a substitute preparation of one of the menu items it was not a problem and the suggested preparation produced the most delicious butterfish I have every had. Everyone in our party was happy with their dinner. Although I would like to try each item offered, I will definitely order the butterfish again when I go back. The value is also great. Each entree is complete and includes a salad. The courtyard dining area is beautiful. I would suggest making an outside reservation."

"The first ever restaurant in Naples which under salts it's food. Hooray for Alexander's. So many of us don't eat out as often as we like because of the copious quantities of salt in restaurant food. Alexander's has taken it's cue. We'll be back often."
