One of Utah’s most popular restaurants, Blind Dog serves comfortable American cuisine from Chef Penn Kinsey in a casual yet elegant setting. Blind Dog's fantastic staff will warmly welcome you and delight you with an extraordinary selection of jet fresh fish, dry aged steaks, sushi and the ever famous mac and cheese. Reservations are accepted in the Dining Rooms. In the more laid back Bar and Sushi Bar area, the a la carte menus are offered as well with better access to the televised games. Reservations are not accepted in the Bar areas, as it is "first come, first served."
"It was a first visit to Blind Dog and we were so thrilled to find a great sushi menu, as well as cooked fish and steaks. The decor is fun and the service was very good. Planning another visit in the summer."

"We came for the sushi. We had been there before and thought the sushi was great. Saturday night it seemed to be off a little bit. Not bad fish, just missing something. No spark."

"Service was poor. The place was almost empty and I brought my parents to Park City for the first time and it was clear to us that our waiter was not interested in our table. He never came around and seemed bothered by us. We were in town for convention and I was disappointed that I rented a car and drive to your restaurant and pay a lot of money for poor service. I will come back to park city but not to blind dog"

"Blind Dog was a nice surprise in Park City. We went there after a day in the slopes, and were greeted very warmly. The service was great and friendly, and the food was done just right. There were 4 of us, and we order a variety of appetizers, entrees and desserts, and we were all satisfied with our food.
Well done Blind Dog!!!"

"We go here for the sushi which is always fresh and good. I had the sashimi and raw oysters. Yumm! Great when on Weight Watchers. This is not a quiet restaurant even out of ski season."

"The waitstaff here is a tremendous asset and adds to the overall experience. Food was very good, and consistent. We shared several items, including beet salad (awesome), salmon (perfect), crab cake sliders (very nice), mac and cheese (OMG!), and sushi (OK, not the highlight), and were very happy with our meal!"

"We had a wonderful experience at Blind Dog. The food and service were both top notch. We had a variety at our table from sushi to spinach salads to sliders. The kids loved the fish tanks and the "wall of dog pics". The only drawback was the lack of a kid's menu---kids had some options on the menu but it made for a steeper bill. We will definitely head back during a future trip to P.C."

"Delicious variety for all in our group (adults, teenagers and kids). Sushi was great, mussels to die for and options for herbivores. Only thing that I wouldn't recommend are the steaks, a little on the fatty side. Wait staff was attentive and helpful."

"First time at the new Blind Dog location. Restaurant was always one of our Park City favorites, but is now better, I think. (Alough I miss the "Clubby" atmosphere of the old location. Would return, and highly recommend to others."

"What a fantastic experience! From the moment we walked in and sat at the bar everything was spot on. The bartender made a wonderful drink suggestion and was attentive and engaging. We were called to our table and dinner was absolutely perfect. The server was knowledgeable about the menu and wasn't in a hurry to take our order. We never felt that we were being rushed or that they needed to turn the table. The food was incredible - the menu well written and FUN! Our dinners were cooked to perfection - the steak a perfect medium rare - as a chef, I would highly recommend this restaurant!"

"Food was good, but service was very slow. When we sat down there was a tray on my seat, one of the water glasses was broken, we had to ask twice for bread, and they refused to substitute a green vegetable for a starch. Waiter had a bit of an attitude as well. At these prices, we expected more."

"We had a great dinner at the Blind Dog. Two of us had sushi, which was really great, one had a seafood dish and one had steak and one a burger. They definitely had something for everyone. The food was all delicious and we left stuffed. Service was friendly and though we were served quickly we did not feel rushed. Would definitely go there again."

"Blind Dog is a very inviting restaurant. Our waitress was very nice --- however had difficulty explaining the specials. Food was good - but not as good this time as past meals we have had there. Overall, it is a good place to eat in Park City - especially when Main Street restaruants are sooooo crowded."

"The food here is good - I wouldn't say outstanding but perfectly fine. The biggest complaint at our table was that the potato options are so odd. There are 2 kinds of mashed or french fries. Their menu is so geared to steaks, we all wanted a baked potato or roasted potatos --- odd. Our server was wonderful."

"We dined at the Blind Dog early on a Friday night before going over to the Eccles Center for a 7:30 P.M. show. The restaurant was nearly empty when we arrived but by 6:30 was nearly full. Since this was a Friday during Lent we could only take advantage of the seafood selections. My wife had the crab cakes and I had a seafood "pan roast". For starters we had a bit of sushi and a half dozen raw oysters. The oysters were great. Service was very attentive without being over bearing. I think this will become a nice special occasion restaurant for us. General warning- this is in Utah that has the oddest liquor laws in the US. You can't get a double or a real draft beer. The wine list is restricted to whatever the State approves."

"The food was delicious, especially the crab cakes. However, the service could be much better. We did not want mashed potatoes and asked for a substitute. We were told there would be an upcharge, but was then charged full price for the substitute ($10!). The waitress was not truthful and then slammed us on the bill. Although the food was good, it was pricey. For these prices, I expect a much higher level of service. We do not plan to return."

"We visited the blind dog after reading great reviews however were a bit disappointed. The food itself was mixed. The crab salad appetizer was just crab drenched in tomato ketchup and was overpowering. The main course fish was so small it was hard to see it on the plate and at $34 not worth the money. The biggest annoyance was the cost of sides. Two people in our party asked to share the fish and they asked not to have the potatoes which came with it but asked if they could have a substitution. They were advised no, so 2 sides were ordered and one ordered the potato anyway. When it arrived there were no potatoes and the sides were so big that only about a third of it was eaten. Overall it just left us feeling we didn't get good value."

"We eat their many times and like the restaurant. This night our waiter was preoccupied somewhere else and I had to literally get up and go find him 3 times to get him to come by so we could order, get a check and fix a mix-up food order.
Great restaurant - not very good waiter. Sort of bummed me out that they automatically included 20% on the bill when the service was lousy."

"Love the food but the timing of the food delivery is usually slow. Both times we went to Blind Dog we ordered Sushi to start and then our main meal. The problem is that the sushi tends to show up with the main course which means we have a table of plates and glasses and a very confused palate. This weekend it was not busy and the same delay. Need to work on the speed of sushi delivery. Other than that; great restaurant."

"We had the worst service: unattentive, several main courses brought more than 10 minutes after others (we were a party of 7), surly. I have dined at Blind Dog many times before, but I will never return. It's too bad because they have several very good food offerings, but this isn't the first time that I've had poor service. This was the worst service I have had there before."

"My boyfriend and I went here to celebrate Valentine's Day. We had a reservation but arrived about 15 minutes early. After about a 5 minute wait, we were seated (not sure why we had to wait since the restaurant was mostly empty). Service was so so but the food was amazing. I had the Very Cheesy Mac'n'Cheese with bacon and tomatoes and herbs. Portion was very large and indulgent. My boyfriend ordered the Center Cut Filet which he enjoyed very much. This restaurant was quite the splurge for us and I am glad the food lived up to the expectation."

"Three Blind Dog was good when I ate at the Sushi Bar on Tues night. However, when I ate at a regular table on Sat night, a lot left to be desired. First, the food was only passable. I had a grouper in a gumbo sauce. The ingredients in the sauce, especially the shrimp were so overcooked that they tasted like they were dried shrimp! The waitress was new but clearly was out of her element and had a "high" learning curve. She kept volunteering to do these things, e.g. like split the bill. She couldn't get it right even though we gave her the amounts and then forgot to remind us that there would be a 20% gratuity for the split. The service didn't warrant that and we had cash and didn't need to incur the extra charges for the service"
