"Small restaurant, but our party of 6 didn't feel cramped at all. The tables are all well spaced considering the size of the space, which is good since it looked there were a number of dates there as well. It got quite warm, so the staff propped both doors open. The server had great suggestions, especially for non-alcoholic versions of cocktails, since 2 of our group are pregnant. We all had a very enjoyable evening."

"I've been trying to look for a decent restaurant in Edmonton and thank god, finally found one that far exceeded my expectation!!! Food was good and was definitely a surprise to my taste buds, it's been a long time since I've had any food that wow-ed me! I just came back from Europe!"

"Our second-time here. Very quiet at around 5PM on a Saturday. Service friendly and informative. This time we tried dinners from their new menu (big plates vs small plated our first time) -- My husband had the beef and I the duck. Both expertly prepared and tasty. Plating wise, I would comment that it was a bit difficult to cut the duck as it was served in a large deep bowl. Unless the duck was already cut up in bite size pieces, it would make more sense to serve it on a regular plate. My husband's beef was served on some type of a slab -- which was also a bit strange -- as the juices were running off it onto the table. Otherwise a good meal overall. 2 Mains with a pitcher of Sangria, with 15% tip and taxes ($115)"

"Outstanding food. Everything was delicious and very attractively presented. Do not miss the pickled vegetables; the flavour is delightful.The Feta phyllo parcel was also wonderful. The Pan con tomate was surprisingly good too. We ordered a bottle of wine and it came with a bonus - a cheese board, after the main course. There were two soft cheeses on the artistic plate, but the other items were delightful, including fruits, bread, and jam. Excellent."

"We go to a diffeent establishment every Friday for dinner. This weekend the meal at Ousia was exceptional, service was great and facilty thou smalll was very comfortable. Meals were not over priced, servings were addequate, did not leave hungry.I would rate my experience 4+. We will definitely be back another time."

"A nice tapas style experience. Small place-seats 30-32. But for those who don't mind the casual coziness, this is a unique spot on Whyte. No need to dress up. Our first time here, and with tickets to a show - the two of us decided to share first the chacuterie plate (cured meats, cheeses, olives and condiments) and then each had a secondary small plate (mine the ceviche and his the prawns). If you are not used to the small plate/tapas concept it might be a shock to some to see that the size of the portions presented looks small in comparison to what you might find at a pub. But the quality and taste more than makes up for it. Next time we will try the 'big' plate menu. Dinner for two with a bottle of wine,tax + 20%tip,= $105"

"Wonderful restaurant. Our server was attentive and friendly. Food was prepared with elegance and great flavor. My initial entree was overwhelmingly salty and they whisked it away, giving me another option with no fuss. I've eaten here before and the food is always amazing. Fantastic lamb, perfectly cooked.
