Ibiza Tapas Restaurant & Wine Bar
Ibiza Tapas & Wine bar was one of the first few tapas places to open in Pittsburgh. We offer a large selection of cold & hot tapas on a regular basis as well as different specials on Friday & Saturday. Full dinner entrees are also on the menu.
With 60 different wines, we are able to satisfy many of the serious wine drinker. Wines can be enjoyed by the glass or through a variety of flight. Our bartenders will be more than happy to help you make a selection.
The architecture of the building creates & enjoyable dining atmosphere. Our year round patio with elegant lighting & a romantic water fall is the perfect place for a romantic dinner or to just enjoy the night out with friends. Through out the winter months the patio is covered & heated.
Every month we hold a different wine dinner party. With a different region covered each month – you can enjoy the pairing of different foods & wines for a memorable experience.

"We loved the ambiance of the restaurant & we love tapas restaurants in general - it's just that I would not call the food great. It was good - but nothing to go crazy over. We tried 2 cold & 3 hot tapas & none were terrible - just average. Still a fun night & service was very good. The wine flights are a good option also."

"Food was very good. One thing to note is that they offer valet parking and the guy who got my car for me turned my headlights on when they are automatic and don't need turned on. When I got back to my hotel, I didn't bother turning my lignts off because I usually don't need to. Unfortunatley, my lights stayed on and drained my battery so the next day got off to a slow start."

"The service at the beginning of our meal was very good. We had a reservation for 7pm. Around 730pm they started to get very crowded and it was difficult to even find our waitress. Around 8:30pm we were asked to move down a table to accomodate a group of woman who were there for a bridal shower. We didn't mind in the least. However, it seems strange that the table wouldn't be set up at the beginning. Was this a new reservation or did they overbook. I believe it was the later. The food was good but the food is good at many establishments around the burgh. I would expect on a Saturday night with dinner reservations already made to have good service as well. I doubt I would visit again."

"I would recommend Ibiza to anyone, and I would like to return. We (party of four) sat in the back of the restaurant, and the atmosphere was romantic. The front of the restaurant had a more energetic feel. The food was very good. The scallops were superb, and we loved the risotto. The one downside for me was the service. The host stand was unattended for 5 to 10 minutes at a time. Many people stood waiting for a long time just to talk to the host. Our waiter was very nice and knowledgeable. I thought it took a little long to get our food out. Otherwise, Ibiza was a very enjoyable experience."

"Our server was great and the food was delicious. Perfect for a date night or night out with friends. We shared two tapas and full dinner and went home with food. I am usually underwhelmed by the service at Pittsburgh restaurants but our waitress was helpful with my dietary restrictions, informed on specials and wines, and quick. At the end of the evening, we had to turn down dessert - again due to dietary restrictions - but our waitress brought us 2 shots of their almond liquor. It was definitely a different vibe than other Pittsburgh places and was more in line with the vibe we have experienced traveling to other countries."

"The food is very good. The roasted vegetable salad is generous and spectacular. The ham and cheese plate with olives is very good, too. I enjoy the chorizo in particular. When we want a variety of tastes, this is where we go to enjoy the wine and wonderful flavors of Spain."

"Making our reservation on Open Table essentially meant nothing as we still had to wait thirty minutes before being seated. Service was good but the restaurant was very busy and quite possibly understaffed so face time with our actual server was limited. However, this is more of a management problem than his wrong doing. The management was overwhelmed with how busy things got and were openly rude to wait staff and walk-ins. However, the manager/owner had a left over pitcher of sangria that he felt was suitable to give us since we waited so long after having a reservation."

"My husband and I wanted to try the tapas style restaurant and enjoy some different wines. We were greeted by really friendly hosts and provided a table on their heated terrace. We loved the decor and the tables had enough space around you to not feel like you were on top of other diners. The waiter shared the specials, wine recommendations and diner favorites. We went with a few tapas for appetizers which were incredible. The shrimp dumplings were full of flavor, salads were tasty and bread was fresh. We ordered the entrees, tuna and steak, which were good. We enjoyed the atmosphere, the staff and the dining experience. We will be returning as often as we can!"

"Came in on a Tuesday evening to celebrate a birthday. Waitress's presentation of the specials made them seem less than desirable. She wasn't shy about telling us her lack was due to being there since noon that day. She wasn't too knowledgable when it came to the wine list. The food portions were less than fair and not as exotic as one might assume. Pretty sure the waitress left half way through our diner and didn't introduce the server who would be taking over for her. Not likely to go back or suggest it to anyone...would have been extra peeved if I didn't have a groupon. The service and food portions would not be worth full price."

"If you are a true fan of tapas, then Ibiza is a must try! Their food is sensational and their wine list is magnificicent. A couple of us went for a quiet ladies night out away from all the hustle and bustle that surrounds our chaotic lifestyles and we were accommodated with just that! The wait staff was very attentive to our needs and the moment we finished our tapas or one of our glasses of wine, it was immediately taken. They had a vast array of specials that we had one of and thank goodness we did, fantastic try! If you are looking for a night out in the city, Ibiza is a must!"

"The food was passable but nothing exciting. There were 5 of us and we ordered 10 items. All of the items came at one time. We spent more time trying to find places to put things than talking about the food. We were never offered clean plates and the ones we had were very small. Also, while the food was warm - none of it was hot."

"I would recommend Ibiza for anyone looking for a fantastic place to eat exceptional food. We went for Valentine's Day, and the atmosphere was intimate, even though the restaurant was bustling all around. I highly recommend going the "tapas" route, vs a regular sized entree; it allows you to try several different menu items without being filled up on just one choice. I will definitely be visiting Ibiza again."

"This was absolutely the best time. The service was wonderful once we walked through the door and the food was even better. Then onky thing I would change is how fast they take your plates away at the end of the meal and they clear everything from the table. This might be a culture thing to give u space to have conversation, but it makes you feel a little rushed....which may be it too since they are pretty busy :) which is not a big deal or tie breaker at all. And over all it was amazing and I would recommend it to all of my friends amd would certainly go back."

"I really enjoyed the small plate concept and everything we ordered was delicious. My only complaint would be the rather small dining room. We were seated quite close to the tables on either side of us which didn't provide much privacy."

"The outdoor dining is in use all year long. In the winter the patio is enclosed with plastic and heat lamps are utilized. On one occasion my group of 6 was seated out back and the heat lamp near our table was broken. The staff tried, unsuccessfully, to fix it and we had a very uncomfortable meal. This visit we sat outside as well and the lamps were all operational, although, our chairs were a metal mesh material which are uncomfortable this time of year."

"Lovely. Been there a number of times. Food and wine selection fantastic, although just as a warning, even as a cheese connoisseur the spanish blue on the Endive salad is quite ... um ... challenging.
I heartily suggest the mussels and clams (succulent and perfectly cooked) and any of their wine flights, which are reasonably priced for quite the selection!"

"We traveled to Pittsburgh for a weekend getaway and found this restaurant on restaurant.com. My fiancé and I love tapas restaurants So we were very excited to try this one. Ibiza did not Disappoint. We made reservations on OpenTable and were promptly seated at our reservation time of 9:30. We sat in the outside seating area And were impressed by the Decor. The outside was a bit noisy so if you're looking for a quiet time I would recommend sitting inside. Overall though the noise on the outside just added to the vibrant atmosphere. All of our orders came out very quickly and correctly and the scallops wrapped in bacon were to die for. We can't wait to go back again."

"Very nice restaurant, but I particularly appreciate their consideration. I screwed up my reservation but they found a table for my group. One person had problems walking so they found a place where that would not be an issue. Very high level of consideration; much appreciated."

"Ibiza is a tapas and wine bar that possesses a unique ability to entertain guests unfamiliar with Tapas and wine without coming off across conceded or snooty. The waitstaff are very helpful in describing each of the dishes as many of them might sound unfamiliar to patrons who do not speak Spanish. The food selections are perfect for many different types of dietary restrictions. There are plenty of vegetarian and dairy-less options. Also the ambiance, is beyond cool. The back patio that is open year round is sure to impress any date, or business dinner you have there. Finally, the food and wine is amazing. Even the simplest dishes(ie cheese and fruit platter) can really pop paired with the right drink from the extensive wine list available."

"The food was fantastic. I love this kind of dining experience when you can share a bunch of small plates with friends/family. We ordered several small plates and were able to try a variety of different foods. The service was punctual - I never had an empty glass and the waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu. We went early so there wasn't much of a crowd, which was nice. I really enjoyed my experience and I will definitely be back."
