Capri Restaurant at Miracle Springs Resort & Spa Reviews List
Capri Restaurant at Miracle Springs Resort & Spa
The legendary Capri Restaurant, a Desert Hot Springs landmark for 35 years, is now at Miracle Springs Resort & Spa. The Capri menu features the Capri's signature dishes based on classic Italian taste, and specializes in hand-cut to order steaks and seafood, homemade Italian sausage, homemade desserts and seasonal local produce. A separate dining room is available for groups and functions. The Capri Bar overlooks Miracle Springs' lushly landscaped courtyard. Our featured wine selections make the perfect complement to any meal. The Desert's most affordable Sunday Brunch in our Joshua Tree Restaurant is a favorite of guests and locals alike. Room service is available to hotel guests during restaurant hours.
"Nice dining room overlooks central pool & garden area. Good choice for authentic Italian cuisine. Server was new so she was still not completely up to speed on either the wine or food menu. Her fellow staffers intuitively stepped in when there was something she was missing. The Halibut in a lemon sauce was melt in your mouth delicious. Appetizer with assorted dips was great. The Caprisi salad was disappointing with hardly even a hint of sweet basil & excessive unattractive lettuce bed for both the acceptable tomatoes & mozzarella. Manager suggested a reasonably priced Francis Ford Coppala California Cabernet which developed nicely with a bit of breathing room. German Chocolate Cheesecake finish was adequate. Potential to become a local fav."

"Juan was an exceptional waiter. We took friends to Capri for a surprise dinner. They loved it and we will all be back. Food was fabulous with good pricing."

Review 4 for Capri Restaurant at Miracle Springs Resort & Spa
"The steaks varied in quality, with the filets the best and the strips not as good. One steak was overdone and readily replaced with one cooked perfectly. Sides dishes -- salad, soup, pasta with marinara -- were fine, the garlic bread barely edible. The Spaghetti Carbonara was too rich to have any flavor other than rich. A different marinade seems to be in use different the original Capri, and the quality of the strips has declined. Very nice people, though, and a fun time was had by all."
