"Exorbitantly expensive restaurant that is NOT worth it. The service was absolutely pathetic with a chaotic team approach with no one apparently leading the "team" or being aware of what was going on. Our plates were ungraciously dumped in front of us without any explanation or introduction to the course in front of us let alone any eye contact from the server. Staff were arguing about table coverage within ear shot of at least two other tables. I can not describe how deplorable the service was here. And at the end of the night we had the privilege of paying over $500 for two of us. Spend your money elsewhere. There is much better to be had in Las Vegas."

"Bartolotta is an amazing dining experience from start to finish. Our first time, but by no means the last. Eat outside if at all possible, very romantic. Had the Bravo's Top Chef Dinner Menu. Each course is served family style, so no elaborate plating designs, just great food, expertly prepared. We loved everything. The menu consisted of: seared sea scallops, sautéed tiny clams, Ligurian octopus salad, Scampi Vivi, risotto ai frutti di mare, tortiglioni con moscardini, rigatoni con scorfano e melanzane, ravioli di ricotta con caciotta Toscana, pescato d’amo al forno (orata). Followed by a symphony of desserts. Service was impeccable. This was more than a great meal, it was an incredible dining experience. Bartolotta will not disappoint."

"I have been here many times and this was so disappointing. We were seated 40 minutes late. Our waiter (who is fantastic) was waiting on at least 8 tables and running around like mad man. The food took almost 1 hour to get to use from the time we ordered. The food quality was subpar....nothing right on this night. Unfortunate as i have always talked up this as one of the best in Vegas....not sure I will go back with so many great places."

"We had reservations for 9pm but were seated 20 mins later because the table wasn't ready even though there were tons of open tables. The reason I picked this place for my bday was because all of the pics online had a beautiful outdoor patio. When we asked to sit outside we were told there was a $150 minimum spending amount per person. I was very disappointed. The food is average for the amount of $ people paid. Most people just ordered pasta & salad & spent around $80. I felt terrible for my friends & felt we should have just gone to STK Steakhouse. The service took forever: to take our orders, to bring the bill. I realize just because something costs WAY more does NOT make it better in the least. Overall not happy nor impressed."

"Our trip to Vegas had been a little disappointing from the point of view of food......... until we found Bartolotta. Chef Paul Bartolotta was at the desk when we arrived. We had one of the three chef's tasting menus, with fresh fish flow in from the Mediterranean. We are very critical of many restaurants, because my wife is a spectacular cook. I always tell her should could go on The Taste and win!! This was a top five in a lifetime find."

"In a word:FANTASTIC.
food is excellent, especially the pastas and sauces. When we stay in Las Vegas we always make sure to eat at Bartolotta twice in our normal 4-5 day stay.
Although all of the servers are very good, Ray is one of a kind.

"This was our 3rd or 4th time at Bartolotta. Our dinner was outstanding, as it always has been. HOWEVER, there was a problem. We made the reservation (using OpenTable) a couple weeks ahead. When we arrived at the entrance, the young ladies told us we had no reservation. After much discussion with them and a manager, their computer was able to determine that our reservation was for AUGUST 17, not APRIL 17. Fortunately there was a suitable table available. Your confirmation had indicated APRIL. This was clearly the restaurant's mistake. It did cause some distress, if briefly."

"The reason why this restaurant didn't get the five stars was because of the cuttlefish appetizer. The cuttlefish was suppose to be charcoal grilled. When it arrived at my table it looked as if it was boiled and put on the grill for about thirty seconds and then covered it with some sauce on top. It had no taste all of being grilled on a wood fire so that was the only disappointment. The penne with scorpion fish was delicious and so was the spaghetti al astice. I ordered the occhiona which is the big red eye sea bream was cooked perfectly and also was delicious. Overall it was a great dining experience and would go back again"

"Our food was good but not great. For how much this place charges for a meal I think that the dining experience should be exceptional. The place is too large to feel intimate and exclusive. We had a reservation for 8:15 but waited over 20 minutes to be seated. We were placed on upper floor by the entrance to the stairs. We come to Vegas around 8 times a year and try to sample all the different fine dining. We have loved our experiences at Twist, Picasso, Cut, Le Cirque, L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon, and Michael Mina. Bartolotta did not measure up. This is actually our second try there, but in all fairness the 1st time was on Valentine's Day and they had a set menu. Atmosphere does not impress."

"From the time I walked in the door until the time I left, I felt like a Queen. Every single staff member I came into contact with could not have been more gracious and welcoming. The tasting menu was exquisite. The portions were perfect and it is the only way to go so that you enjoy the variety the Chef has to offer. I had high hopes for the dinner and they exceeded all of them. I would definitely tell everyone to go and have the fantastic experience that I enjoyed. I cannot wait to return!!!"

"My issue with Bartolotta was the hovering waiters, we couldn't have a conversation without someone hovering over us, so annoying. The strange part was that one guy (we had three attendants) said he would bring bread right out, then hovered for at least 15 minutes before any bread came. Despite that I must say the veal chop was the best I have had and the rags of pasta seafood app was delicious. Not so impressed with the beef entree choice however. It was nice, we sat outside. Would try many other high end restaurants before we go back there."

"This was the worst food we had in Vegas in a long time. And so very expensive. We had the tasting menu and the only decent item was the meat that the waiter threw in for free.....do you think he knew the fish and seafood weren't great? Also, four desserts and none had an ounce of chocolate!"

"Fantastic sea food. One of the best meals I've ever had. Very attentive wait staff. I ate at three very nice restaurants in Vegas of "celebrity" chef's. And the food and service at Bartolotta's was far and away the best."

"We had the Top Chef menu between two of us. Too much food, but all wonderful. I am a restaurateur, owner of fine restaurants and am an architect, so I comment from both points of view.
Food/Service? The ravioli was a little thick & tough for my taste, but sheep's milk ricotta and sweet Marsala glaze were extraordinary. The busser became a little too familiar by the end of the meal. When we asked for a box for the grigliata, he answered cheerfully, "sure I'll throw this stuff in a box for you guys". Your restaurant does not serve "stuff"; It is never "thrown"; and guests are not "you guys".
Italian food is simple. The over the top interior detracts/distracts from the understated elegant simplicity of the food, but this is Las Ve"
