The French Hen is nestled in Lighthouse Shopping Center at 71st and Yale. The restaurant is owned and operated by Kathy Bondy. Our cozy and comfortable atmosphere is tastefully decorated in French Country style with seating for 95 inside the restaurant, or enjoy our outdoor patio seating area.

"Professionally prepared foods of top quality. Steak, roasted duck breast and scallops were melt in mouth wonderful. One of the best caesar salads I have had in a very long time. Highly recommend the french onion soup as well. Quiet low light dinning area, well suited for a romantic evening dinner. Our waiter was a very wonderful part of our overall experience with his knowledge of the dishes they have as well as his professional service. Prices were in the very upper level, but pretty much on track for this experience. I would recommend the French Hen to others and will be returning in the future."

"After a change of ownership I was extremely happy that fact did NOT affect the food, service or quality of the French Hen. The new owner has maintained and I think improved (thought that was impossible) the 3 areas I mentioned. It had been a long time since I'd eaten there. It won't be now. I've rediscovered a Tulsa Gem! 5 Stars!"

"We are from Eureka Springs Arkansas and have eaten here many times on our Tulsa trips. This time we were joined by friends who own a restaurant in ES and they were very impressed with the food selection, preparation and service. A little Gem in a large town."

"For me not to complain about something is unheard of. The duck and lobster dishes were amazing. The duck came with a sauce that it didn't need because it was so flavorful. I allowed my server to help me make decisions, and he did a great job."

"My wife and had a very nice meal at the French Hen. The service was exactly what I hope to find (and seldom do) at a good restaurant. The waiter was attentive, but not pushy. He let us take our time, enjoy our wine (from an excellent listing), and when the time was right, the meal was served. I had the sea bass, and my wife had the duck- both were done perfectly. We will return."

"We have been going to the French Hen since 1979 (when it first opened) and have been through several ownership changes. It has never been better than it is now!! The new owner serves as "the expediter" and is really on the ball. We were there on Valentine's Day and it was packed but the service was great as was the food. It is exceptional."
