"Went with my parents and daughter for celebrating college graduation. Although I mentioned this in the reservation to the restaurant we were seated at a table right at an entrance to other rooms so there was a lot of traffic/staff going by us. All I could think of was what is landing on my plate when all these people walk right by my table??
The restaurant was not crowded and we could have been placed elsewhere so I was puzzled at the cramped table. Didn't want to make a scene as my old-fashioned parents would have been embarrassed. As we were there to celebrate the grad before our 3 hour drive home and have some lunch, it was ok. Ambiance beautiful, food not anything special (no one loved their meal), prices high."

"We had a pleasant evening at Luciano's celebrating my daughter's college graduation. Nice place to have a relaxing dinner. Our waiter, Frank was a little rough around the edges, but made the evening a bit entertaining. Food was good, a little overpriced for what we were served, but I guess we knew that going in. Overall a nice place for a family dinner"

"In spike of the power outage everything was very nice however the Managers and waitstaff could have been more forthcoming on explaining what happened and what to expect instead of waiting for people to ask what happened and will there be a problem with our meals."

"Friends in from CO wanted Italian - North End as spring menus are focused on seafood, which they don't eat, so we took a long drive to Luciano's - they always have excellent meat and poultry based dishes. The veal was tender - even the filet in the special, which came with a nice piece of lobster. Mashed potatoes were the best I've been served in a restaurant. The chocolate profiterole was beautiful and light. We asked for a corner table ( this was an 18 yr reunion - and one friend wears hearing aids) and were able to have a wonderful evening. We chose Sunday as less busy, but we've never felt rushed when eating there, no matter how busy they seem. The lighting is pleasantly dim but not such that it makes the menus difficult to read."

"We selected Luciano's based on other outstanding reviews we saw and now we want to add to the buzz. Everything about our evening exceeded our expectations, from the friendly car valets to the wonderful ambiance, very personable and professional server (Jesse), and excellent food. We wanted a venue where we could enjoy a leisurely visit with our friends and that's exactly what we experienced. The personal greeting by Luciano himself was an added delight.
This restaurant is huge--but it is nicely segmented into multiple dining rooms so we did not feel crowded or rushed in any way. We will absolutely return."

"Our dining experience was excellent. We arrived early for our 6pm reservation and were seated immediately. We smelled chocolate in the lobby and eyed the beautiful desserts in the case. As we followed the hostess into the next room the aroma of Italian sauce was apparent. We were seated at the requested table and not 5 minutes later the owner Luciano arrived at our table, shook our hands, thanked us for coming and told us in detail about all of the specials for that evening. The waiter was polite, professional, with a sense of humor. The food was delicious from App to dessert. Our friends from out of state requested we go there again when next they visit."

"I've been a guest several times at Luciano's, and I am always impressed with everything. The owner, Luciano, always welcomes every guest, making the guests feel important.
The food is superb. I am a very fussy Italian American when it comes to Italian food, and I can tell you that this is an excellant Italian restaurant, my favorate. Large menu, a lot of dishes to choose, my wife counted 17, yes seventeen, desserts. Homemade Italian sourdough bread is "to die for".
The ambiance is very nice, although in my opinion, a little too dark. Otherwise, the food and service is superior!
A very classy place."

"This night was absolutely Fabulous - from booking on line - to parking - the maitre d' -
the waiter - the meal and Luciano himself. We were treated like royalty. We will go back there again and again. We had a very old gift certificate from 1999 which finally brought us to Lucianos for the first time and it was honored 14 years later with no questions asked.

"Overall the restaurant was a good experience and I would recommend it to friends and colleagues. Luciano himself was a gracious host as he circulated among the patrons asking if the food was good and even offered some suggestions. He made you feel welcome. My only criticism was that this was a business dinner and as such I did not carefully review the tab in detail when I signed my credit card slip. When I completed my expense report, I noticed that the waitress overcharged me for three desserts, despite only ordering two. As this is a classy restaurant, I am assuming it was just an honest mistake, but conversely a restaurant of this class should not make these type of mistakes."

"Lucianos has always been one of our favorite places for special occasions. The Sunday Extravaganza value cannot be beat. Highly recommend Lucianos to anyone. Appetizers were great, dinner was great. Dessert service was a little slow. Since it was Sunday Extravaganza there were lots of large parties of 15-20. Luciano's should think about not sitting parties of 4-6 in these rooms. Makes the diner feel like they are at a party they were not invited to."

"My son and I just fell in love with the memory of our whole dining night out together on Tuesday night I have had an adult lifetime of wonderful dinning events over time this was without a doubt the best of the best what is there to say everything positive from our waiter David to all the waitress waiters they kept the water glasses filled at all times everything was noticed for us without any prompts from us for help this was a gift from family but the open table really had such a big hand in this help thank you thank you open table I look forward to a lifetime of dinning with the previews and suggestion of open table restaurants to expire I am a fantastic cook so when I do dine out it has got to be exceptionall thank you"

"Had to wait 1/2 an hour for our first round of drinks, server was nice enough but incredibly useless and the food was mediocre at best. One would think that since this is an Italian restaurant the risotto would not be tasteless, sticky mush, but that is exactly what it was. Also, one of the "specials" of the evening was prime rib - my husband had to send back because it was so tough. I would strongly recommend going elsewhere if you are looking for a gourmet meal."

"My husband loved his lamb chops. I got a veal special with beefsteak tomatoe's over pasta, it was drowning in tomato sauce and it lacked flavor. This is the first time I have not been happy with my meal. I will go back because I have had so many other meals there that have been really really good. Only other negative was that the women at the counter kept us waiting way to long before we were brought to our table. She kept answering the phone even though we were there first. Oh well."

"I had made a reservation earlier in the day & our party of 4 was seated quickly & comfortably upon arrival. We were seated in an area where we could talk & hear each other easily. Our server was very attentive & patient in helping us to enjoy our meals & our visit to Luciano's. We all enjoyed our meals greatly! Food was delicious and my steak was cooked just the way I like it! It was a great place to visit with our freinds, who had just returned from a stay down South. We had a memorable visit!"

"My husband and I go every year to celebrate a special occasion and have never been disappointed! You feel like you are in Italy with the background music and the beautiful murals on the walls. The seafood casserole was outstanding and cooked to perfection. The waiters are very attentive. What makes this restaurant stand out is the owner comes over to your table and thanks you for coming! I would highly recommend going to Lucianos for any occasion! They also have valet service."

"We arrived on time for a 6pm reservation and we asked if we could have a few minutes in the lounge first and they were very accomadating (it was a weeknight). There were 6 of us and the food was good all around, salads crisp and fresh, main dishes all delivered hot and tasty. Staff was friendly and there when you needed them but not hovering. We recommend Luciano's for any occasion!"

"Luciano's was my grandparents' favorite restaurant, and we went there for all kinds of special occasions, including the luncheons after each of their memorial services. I took my Mom there for lunch this weekend as part of a day trip back to her hometown. We had not been in two years, and I guess the last few visits were not about the food, so I had forgotten just how good it is. Lunch prices are an incredible deal -- $10 - $14 for truly remarkable meals, with bread and fantastic service -- and the food is top quality. Our waiter, Marcos, was attentive and knowledgeable, and we had a wonderful meal. Thanks, Luciano's, for a lifetime of memories and fantastic food!"

"Nice place overall. Parking was good. Did not appreciate the table my wife and I were seated at. It was next to an emergency exit that must be adjacent to the kitchen because we could hear all the racket. We were also seated very close to a young couple with a baby who was fusy. They should sit people with children all together and try and put older couples separate. We ate fillets and the meat was excellent. The Bernaise sauce was not prepared properly and was cold. The service was excellent. The waiter saved the place.
Glad to say I went but will probably not return or recommend."
