"Lulu's is a popular dining/meeting place for locals and out of town visitors. Wonderful location and great ambience.
The calamari appetizer was delicious ; however, the New York steak was not "medium rare" as requested by one of our
guests. Overall, we had a good time!"

"I was in Palm Springs for vacation and wanted a dinner out of the hotel. Most places in Palm Springs seem kind of old and have weird decor, but Lulu was airy, modern, and polished. The prix fix dinner (3 courses for $19.99) was SUCH a steal. The menu was really expansive with lots of gluten free and vegetarian options. I had the lobster ravioli in the prix fixe and couldn't believe I paid so little. Great food, great environment, and great service from the wait staff. The host/hostess that night seemed snobby and like they were annoyed I was there, but I live in San Francisco so that is kind of the norm, haha. I wanted to come back but we left the next day. My fav place in PS!"

"I have frequented LULU's before and it is always a pleasant fun experience.

Mother's Day was superb. I made reservations and I was so pleased that there was no complications with our reservation, that it was honored correctly. That was huge. We were on time. I knew that our table might be desired as we asked for outside. All went well.

We have taken my 4 and a half granddaughter there before. She behaved, the place is kid friendly without losing its adult ambiance. Can't be more pleased."

"we thought the food was very good and very generous and nicely priced. You remembered Evelyn's 89th Birthday with a fabulous
piece of chocolate cake and candle, thank you. Great mixed crowd, decor and good menu. Service lovely, really attractive men (much better than L.A.)

only 1 sour note, tvs with large screen had very violent martial art kick in the face show on, not great for dining and relaxing, very wierd. Made my daughter very uncomfortable who is 41.

Check the tv shows,not a rough crowd sitting there on Mother's Day."

"We arrived early for our reservation and were seated immediately on the patio where we requested a table when making our reservation. Our orders were taken promptly and service was attentative. All four of us ordered off of the PrisxFixe menu and we weren't dissapointed! Our wait staff was friendly and accomodating throughout the meal. This wasn't our first dine at this restaurant, and will not be our last, as the atmosphere coupled with the reasonable prices, good service and food makes this one a big winner for us!"

"Prior to Lulu coming to this corner, it hade been a series of unsuccessful restaurants/clubs. All that has changed. It is always busy, but is large so mostly wait times are minimal. My only criticism is that there is too much salt in the food, or at least there was in the dishes my husband and I ate."

"Lulu's is a fun place in the middle of town and great interior areas, the bar is large and great for people watching. The service is better at the bar. The food at Lulu's is usually good but it varies depending on what you get. Then menu is extensive. The simpler dishes there tend to be the better ones. I had salmon one night and it was over cooked and the vegetables with it were mushy they could improve that. But the pizza and caesar salad were great as are many of their "bistro" dishes. Drinks are good and priced well."

"This place is totally over-rated.
My parents were visiting me from Australia and I wanted to take them somewhere nice. I chose this over Trio and really shouldn't have.
From the moment we walked in the service was poor - we got to the front counter and the guy just looked at me. Didn't even say hello.
The service is slow and unfriendly. The meals are average.
Seriously... I can't understand how this plays is so popular."

"It was our first time to the Palm Springs Desert Springs area. A friend of ours recommend the restaurant to us. We were so delighted with the people, server and staff and the food. "I was on an extended vacation, visiting from Connecticut and then my daughter arrived to visit me. My brother lives in Palm Springs ao I wanted us to get together for dinner. We had heard your restaurants name and thought it would be fun.I honestly did not know what to order - but tried the chicken florentine. It was a little dry for me and the green beans were more than al dente'. My brother and daughterseemed to be happy with their meals, for which I was happy.I will tell you that we were very happy with the service in all aspects, and our waiterdid a great job. Our seating was great and I couldn't have begged for a better booth."

"Normally excellent, we were there on a Thursday evening, and it was a trainwreck. I really think this is the exception rather than the rule here at this popular place that we frequent.

That being said, this review was for the service and food on Thursday 4/25/13. I ordered the tilapia. It came after a fairly long wait. Dry, overcooked. Sent it back. Second entree arrived in just a few minutes. Again, dry and overcooked. I decided to just go with it, but the waiter insisted that I try a third one. Third time was the charm. Finally properly cooked, but pretty tasteless. I asked for no rice, and extra vegetables. They missed the boat on that request the second two times. There were many other issues."

"Four of us dined there the night of April 20th. We were drawn by the $19.99 menu of

and a large, beautiful piece of meat arrived on a plate that was "don't touch as it is
very hot". And it was, but the filet was cold, very cold. They precook them and then
warm them up...which is fine if they arrive to the customer warm. My husband traded
his filet with mine rather than wait for the plate to be fixed. As the appetizer
arrived at the table I could see the bottom of two of the plates were covered with
salad dressing...not nice to look at. The service, however, was excellent."

"We had a nice dinner with friends on the patio. Food and service were very good. I found the patio too noisy as you are right on a busy street. I much prefer Aqua Paza's patio as it is more beautiful and much quieter. I would come back to this restaurant, but not for the patio."

"This is the equivalent to an upscale diner. They serve every meal possible. Some items are better than others but it is all acceptable. My husband and I came in for late lunch which ended up being the early dinner. Price for a 3 course meal was great.
