While the burgeoning restaurant scene in St. John's has witnessed epic change during the past two decades, the one constant of culinary perfection is Bianca's on Water Street. The top notch kitchen amazes every lunch and evening with tantalizing menu items and daily features pulled from the chef's penchant for turning fresh local ingredients to plated master pieces. The food style is best summed up by owner Bianca Tzanov as, "regional avant-garde style that has Mediterranean roots". Pair the kitchen magic with one of the most celebrated wine cellars in Eastern Canada (Perennially recognized by Wine Spectator), and you'll soon understand why Bianca's has become as iconic as icebergs and whales to the fabric of Newfoundland dining. Whether a visitor or local, all agree, Bianca's is a destination not to be missed.

"Especially good for people who want to talk to each other as the music is not at all intrusive---quiet is always the mark of a first class restaurant - and the service is very attentive."

"Enjoyed a memorable meal with some great friends. The only thing better than the service was the food. The meal was worth every penny and a great value for the quality and presentation on the plate. It is not hard to tell why so many other restaurants come and go but Bianca's stands the test of time! We will return again and again"

"The restaurant has a beautiful set up and we were taken back right away. There were two in the party and we were both a little disappointed by the appetizers, but non the less they made up for it with the full coarse; lamb and duck. Both were superb. The dessert was delicious as well. I had the lemon pudding, which was a light delicious touch after your meal. I would definitely go back!"

"It was a delightful experience, the crab bisque was delicious and the salmon main course was a treat. The flavour was so nice and not overpowering. My guest had the tomato soup and said it was very rich, the steak was cooked to perfection and had excellent flavour. The service was friendly and helpful, a treat."

"We love the food, ambience and location. Service was not quite attentive enough to wine and there was a long pause between main course and dessert ordering. Tried to get the waiter's attention a few times."
