"The service was amazing. Server was very knowledgeable in the wines. Offered what he thought were great food choices. Very energetic atmosphere. The service was very timely as we had a show to attend afterwards. Excited to return to try all sorts of amazing looking dishes. Had the walleye with squash risotto. Delicious."

"We were greeted in a prompt, friendly manner and shown to our table quickly. I had the walleye, which was the best walleye dish I have ever had (I say that as a native Minnesotan). My wife had the lasagna, which she indicated was very good. We also had dessert, which included pink grapefruit gelato (mine) and a pecan pie (hers), both of which were best-of-breed. Our server was prompt, courteous and friendly too. For us, this was a great dining experience and we'll definitely come back."

"Our grandson chose this for his graduation dinner after having been there prom night. We arrived early, and when it appeared that our table wouldn't be ready in time, we were offered a large booth in the back. This was much better for our group of six; we just exchanged the two backless stools for others with backs. We were comfortable, and it was much quieter in the back. Food was delicious: the salmon was moist and tender, the pizza was a thin crust version, and pasta portions were large enough to satisfy the two teenage boys. The pecan pie was scrumptious and more than large enough to share. Service was efficient; although they knew we were sharing dishes and we had to ask for an extra dish with each course."

"We have been to Pazzaluna perhaps 10 times, so we obviously like it. This time, we decided to order something different from what we usually do, and were a bit disappointed. My husband had the sea bass, and I had the chicken saltimbocca. Both were less than memorable. The sea bass was not very flavorful, and the chicken was overdone and tough. Our waitress, Carrie was tremendous, however.
I normally order the saffron chicken risotto and have never been disappointed. My husband normally has good luck with fish. Overall, Pazzaluna is quite good, but a bit hit or miss depending on the entree you order."

"On a Monday evening, the restaurant was bustling with a mostly downtown business crowd, including a few groups at large tables, so definitely make reservations. The service was friendly, quick and responsive but not hurried. The entrees are mostly interesting pasta dishes, but I had the salmon with orzo which was cooked medium rare and the taste was excellent. I'd also recommend the beet salad."

"Pazzaluna has an extensive gluten free menu that goes well beyond a hamburger without a bun. This is a restaurant that really understands. I did not feel like I was asking for anything special or that I was inconveniencing the staff. A very enjoyable experience!"

"My wife and I have dined at pazzaluna before and it never fails to impress. This time we arrived early for our 7:30 reservation and sat at the bar where we had first class service. We had some appetizers there and before we knew it, 7:30 had rolled around. We were seated almost immediately and again, service was exemplary. The food was excellent and it was quiet enough in one of the large booths that even though we were in a very high traffic area, it still seemed private and intimate."

"We have dined many times, then pass for months because the food can be extraordinarily uneven at dinner time. My wife had a pasta with vegetables and shrimp and she though it fabulous. My wild boar ragu over pappardelle was almost not good. The pasta was over-cooked and stuck to itself and limp and the ragu was luke-warm and mushy. I guess we'll skip Pazzaluna until we forget about the uneven cooking again. Maybe in a year or two."

"We went for out anniversary and loved the food. However, the service was slow. We got a new server part way into our meal. I am accustom to top notch service here and didn't get it.

Also, we have always had a complimentary dessert the other times we have gone for our anniversary. Not a big issue, but an oversight?"

"the quality of food for the price left much to be desired. Four different entrees and all of us were disappointed.the pasta dishes were bland with the pasta cooked uneven (some mushy and some overly hard). "This was our first time at Pazzaluna. We had no idea what to expect, but we weren't disappointed. Beautiful place with very high ceilings and huge windows. The food was wonderful, the service fast, discreet, and efficient. NOT the place to go if you are short of money, but most definitely a destination if you don't mind spending more because you feel it's worth every penny. We asked someone to recommend a wine. Her choice was perfect.

Valet service adds an additional touch of elegance; no need to worry about where to park! It's taken care of for you. Go, and have a great time."

"My friend and I went to Pazzaluna for the first time this week. It has a great, upscale ambiance, attentive wait-staff and delicious Italian food, for very reasonable prices. I would definitely go to this restaurant again or recommend it to others, especially for a date night or more formal dinner out. I was disappointed that I didn't get to see either the mural or the open kitchen that I'd heard about when looking at online reviews, so I might ask to be seated closer to one or the other next time."

"A wonderful dinner at a reasonable price. My wife ad I had a comfortable table by the window that was serviced by a skilled and attentive waiter. Loved the beet salad starter. We each chose 1/2 portion pasta entries that left room for deserts (creme brulee and pecan pie, the latter large enough to be a meal on its own). The restaurant was appropriately noisy but, surprisingly, conversations from neighboring tables were lost in the overall energy. Recommended!"

"This is one of my favorite restaurants in the TC, but I have to admit that it has a louder and crazier atmosphere prior to a show at the Ordway. It's a gem, but opt for a reservation time of 7:00 PM or later those nights, and you will enjoy it all the more!"

"We were told on the phone when the restaurant called to confirm the reservation (which is annoying) that table 56 would be available. When we arrived (at dining room opening) it was taken for a group reservation. How does this happen? Regarding everything else: finally, a perfect Twin Cities dining experience! Rachelle is an exceptional server. Every morsel of food and every sip of beverage was perfection. This has not happened anywhere in a very long time in the Twin Cities. It was a memorable evening in every way. Congrats, Pazzaluna (except for the table snafu)."

"We had a get together with three other couples and we were seated in the area near the kitchen which made it very difficult for us to hear one another, however, the food was very good - everyone seemed to enjoy their meals. Our waiter was helpful, but not overly friendly which is fine for me. There's a nice energy in the bar area with nice views of the sidewalk and streets. Overall, we enjoy Pazzaluna and will be back, but hopefully in a less noisy space."
