Besito - Roslyn
Besito (Little Kiss, in English) serves authentic Mexican food and is home to tableside guacamole and the Besito Patron Margarita. Besito serves lunch and dinner every day of the week. Food specialties include classic tortilla soup, tamales with shrimp and chipotle adobo, ceviches made daily, boneless short ribs of beef and enchiladas suizas. We serve over 60 world class tequilas in our Agave Lounge in an atmosphere of old, rustic Mexico and sophistication bringing back memories of your last Mexican vacation!

"Wow, had heard from numerous friends/family members that Besito in Roslyn was awesome and on Mother's Day, it did not disappoint Mom or any of us. Superb food, extraordinary service, great margaritas and wonderful ambience. Truly a place to visit and the prices were not outrageous, by any means. Try the guacamole made tableside and the Queso Fundido - the short ribs were absolutely amazing and the stuffed poblanos were awesome, too! Keep up the great work, Besito, we will be back soon!"

"have been to Besito's many times and the food is always delicious. Was very hesitant about going out for dinner on Mother's Day and made an early reservation (4:30) The food was delicious as always it was not too crowded, they had everything we ordered and we were not rushed. The waitress service was good but she would have rather been somewhere else, which is understandable but we all have a job to do in life and when we have to do it should be done with a smile. So our Mother's Day expierence was a good one for the whole family and we left full and happy!!! Don't know if it was timing but definately could not have gone better and everyone said it is the worse day to go out."

"Family of 6 went for Mother's Day. Great choice. Waitress could not have been more helpful and friendly. Food was perfectly cooked. A tray of empty dishes was dropped next to us without any damage, and all our drinks were deducted from our check. Nice surprise. We will return."

"This place is so great. The food is always very good. I almost never go out to eat since I'm a chef. Most all places are very disappointing to me in taste due to being a chef. However, I can always count on Besito when I do want to eat something outstandingly great tasting without making it myself."

"Food was very good with moderate portion sizes and expensive. The service ,however, was not very good. We waited quite a long time for entrees to arrive and during the wait were ignored. Not even our water glasses were refilled. How awkward to have to seek out wait staff to refill a glass of water. The accompaniments to meals, such as the tortillas, did not arrive till well into the meal, when we were nearly finished. We were there in a group of 8 for a celebration. It was disappointing to feel so ignored."

I guess being there on a Saturday I wasn't in a rush but it annoyed me because there were only a handful of tables occupied and more than adequate amount of staff. They did treat me special bc of my birthday.. Brought a piece if cake over with a candle AND Didnt sing- thank youuuu I'm too old for that hehe."

"Besito is always a dependable place to go. The food is good and the guacamole, as an appetizer, is to die for. We ordered a double portion at $24 for 3 people and the generous portion was way too much for us. I had the Pollo Arugula Salad at $19...a little bland and asked for extra dressing to perk it up a bit. A friend had the Chicken Tacos...again, the portion was more than enough. The ambiance of Besito is decorated authentically Mexican...rough hewn wood, metal accents and candlelit can make it a romantic spot for two. As the sun goes down, you might need your phone's flashlight to read the menu as it gets a little tricky. We shared the Dulce de leche ice cream for dessert as the perfect ending to a well liked meeting spot for friends."

"AMAZING!! In one word, I have been to tons of Mexican places and this is by far the BEST one. It's pricey but worth every penny!!! They give free churros at the end of your meal, along with a little Mexican warrior. They're tradition is outstanding!!"

"Tableside made guacamole was one the best we've ever had.
Drinks are top notch and they have a great selection of tequilas.
Food is a blend of standard Mexican (Taco's de Res - Beef Tacos) with eclectic upscale fare (salmon w/ pineapple salsa over yuca.)
Desserts are the only downside to the meal - just "ok", but the cinnamon sugar churros are pretty good.

"The food was excellent. My entire family was happy with their meal. The guacamole was good. I have had better but counting the entertaining fact that they do it in front you, is a nice plus. Everyone is really attentive and pleases every request. The pricing was a little more on the expensive side but it was a nice treat."

"Besito is regular spot for my fiancé and I, always love going whether it is the two of us or with friends. The lunch menu is a steal, and full of awesome items dinner is our once a month splurge. Food is alway A+. Highly recommend the sangria and margaritas!"
