"Dear friends, I went to JUMP as a pre-ballet dinner. The atmosphere was beautiful,relaxing, and the service was impeccable with utmost attention to detail from hostess, waiter and manager. All staff were friendly and treated you as their special guest. Food and drinks were superior; second to none. JUMP has the best bar in the city with a wide repertoire of cocktail drinks that can be custom-made to suit every palate. If you are deciding where to go for a nice dinner and memorable experience, I highly recommend JUMP for you and your loved ones!! They aspire for excellence."

"Appropriate diner interaction. We had a birthday dinner at Jump's last night. It was exceptional service. Waitor Patrick has a sense of humor and attentive to diner's needs. He offered a sweetner for my overly sour cocktail. Managers are observative and well prepared for purpose of reservation. We were offered with a lovely cookies plate with a lighted candle at the end. In term of the Food, plating looks impressive. Lobster on risotto was overcooked, bit hard slicing it through. The table looks smaller for two due to the bigger size of the entree plates. Either bigger table needed to include drinks, appetizers and our own plates if to share. Overall, service is outstanding and enjoyable."

"I took my former boss to lunch as a congratulations on her new move. We were greeted very professionally. The food was delicious. I had tuna tartare as a main course and she had the sandwich special. I sometimes come here just for a drink after work and I have also been here for dinner. One time they ran out of crab cakes. It was the only time I was disappointed."

"I went to Jump for my university graduation dinner with friends and family and was very impressed by the outstanding level of service the management and front of house team provided. All requests were met and management went out of their way to make sure my elderly grandparents were well taken care of (both in terms of noise and in seating arrangements). This is definitely one of my favorite restaurants as the service, ambiance and food is phenomenal! The attention to detail was also appreciated as "Congratulations on your Graduation!" was written on my dessert plate. Overall, the experience was wonderful and I will be coming back soon!"

"My wife and I celebrated our 22nd year anniversary at Jump. The entire experience was outstanding. Our server, Shannon was very friendly, personable and knowlegable about wine and wine pairings. All the servers were fantastic!
The food blew us away. We started with a complimentary fresh fig and homemade salami with hibiscus reduction, then the summer salad of pressed watermelon, cucumber and tarragon..superb!. My wife ordered the red wine braised short rib.I must say the best short ribs I have ever tasted. Wow! I had the pork duo special, tenderloin and pork belly which was also excellent. The Manager also visited the table.We asked ask him to compliment the cook and staff. Overall this was an awesome experience. We will be back!!"

"Dinner there before a concert. Efficiently sat to a table. Service was aware of our time constraints and were very prompt. My wife politely commented on the fish being a little more salty than she expected.The waiter kindly offered to replace it with another or any other menu item. My wife declined, as she really hates to make a fuss. The manager was over a few seconds later, very politely informing her that a fresh replacement was on the way. A few minutes later, the food was there and it was perfect. We were impressed and appreciative.The food was wonderful. Cocktails were tasty and imaginative.Great wine list.We were finished right on time for the concert. The service was incredible, the decor updated and fresh. We'll be back. Thank you!"

"This is the essential Bay Street/financial world friendly restaurant. If you want to take a business client or co-worker to lunch , this is the place. The menu is defined with classic selection but not all work. Please skip the vindaloo and make this recommendation to your guest. Portions are not large and are in line with a work lunch where the food is often secondary but of a level where one need not concern oneself and get on with the business on hand."

"This was our first experience at an O&B restaurant. First I should say, the staff was extremely friendly ( not fake). We were celebrating an anniversary and asked for a "quiet" corner, to which they accommodated us. Jordan was our waiter for the evening and he was very attentive and pleasant.
The food was FAB!! from appetizer to dessert. Try the braised beef short rib, it was melting in my mouth.
Really was a most enjoyable experience. Well Done!!"

"We booked Jump based on customer reviews a few months before our trip to Toronto an we were not disappointed. From the moment we arrived, the host greeted us, checked our reservation and sat us quickly. He was very pleasant and that set the tone for the evening. Our waiter (I didn't catch his name) was very knowledgable and offered his opinion on certain dishes. We did try the mozzarella appetizer which was amazing. My wife had the mushroom gnocchi which she loved and I had the roast chicken which I definitely enjoyed. It is a casual/fine dining experience, laid back but still has the upscale vibe. I would definitely recommend Jump to friends."

"For my first time back at Jump since their renovation, they hit it out of the park. Excellent food, wonderful service, the cocktails were amazing (I HIGHLY recommend the Guilt and Honey) and the whole experience was great - a perfect night out for a birthday celebration. I was very impressed."

"Four of us dined on May 3. All I have to say is: WOW. From start to finish, our experience was OUTSTANDING. The menu is suited for all different palates. I highly recommend the steak tar-tar and charcuterie board as appetizers. The braised short rib, lamb and beef tenderloin were all to DIE FOR! We brought our own wine and Anthony was a super star sommelier! Service was incredible. Prompt and very efficient - and we never felt rushed inbetween courses. To finish the night off, we had a bourbon ice cream and ginger beer float. Oh, it was just a party in my mouth all night. :) Couldn't of dreamed of a better night out with friends. Thank you, Jump!"

"Went to Jump many times. Went again recently for dinner - as always, food was excellent, service was excellent. The atmosphere is great. Would absolutely recommend this restaurant. I have tried quite a few meals on the menu and they are all excellent and tasty, my favorites are the pan seared scallops appetizer, and the proscuitto wrapped lamb tenderloin....hmmm yummy!!"

"We all enjoyed the food a lot. The portion sizes seemed inconsistent with my husband's meal being huge and mine being too little. We enjoyed the restaurant though, the staff was great and friendly. We liked that they offer a courqing fee service so that we can bring wines we are familiar with."

"The remodelling is very impressive...the room looks great. Our service was outstanding. The food was very good: we shared the burata appetiter which was delicious; my companion had the burger...very well done which is not to my taste so I didn't like it when I tried it, but she did. I had the chicken which was excellent although it struck me as a fall dish for the middle of April. All in all, a very good experience."

"Their renovations add a really nice vibe to the place...service is polished and professional and the kitchen knows what they are doing. We really prefer Jump to the recent spate of luxury hotel dining rooms mostly because the food is much better."

"I did not know that it was the first nite open after an extensive remodel. They did a great job. The food was fantastic. Went to the Leaf game and came back for a nite cap. fabulous drink selection.

"Food was good the atmosphere is nice...it was not busy at all on a Sat night Leaf game night which was suprising and took away from the atmosphere, service to get our food was a little slow and made us miss first 5 mins of game after we asked repeatedly asking before we ordered."

"My boyfriend and I dined at jump before the hockey game on March 6th! We thought the food was amazing and we thought the service was great! We had the steak tartar and the stuffed lamb tenderloin! We live in kitchener so we do have a bit of a drive to get to jump but the next time we are looking to celebrate something in Toronto we will be coming back to jump! Thanks for the great hospitality!"

"I usually love this place. While waiting for my guest, it took the server 10 minutes to come and offer me water. After my guest arrived, the server took ten minutes to come by. He said he wanted to give us time to "catch up".
Instead of asking for our drink order, he immediately wanted our food order. My guest didn't have a chance to review the menu. I had to ask the server for the specials; didn't mention them himself. Ordered our food and drink at the same time.
THe food took some time to arrive, both apps and mains. Had to ask for pepper; not offered. For a business lunch place, it took way too long. I was surprised as usually Jump is fairly quick. Portion sizes good. Mixed green salad good."

"Fabulous! Everything was superb, from the food to the service. The waiters went out of their way to make you feel at home and welcome - we had five people look after us during the night and all were very accommodating depending upon their job. The food was excellent - I have the lamb and my husband had the sea bream. Highly recommended for a special night out without the kids."

Nice attentive service and for us needing gluten-free choices, we were confident we were being looked after.
The lobster risotto has a bit too much cream and the rice was underdone but the veal chop with scalloped potatoes an cauliflower was excellent."
