The Asian Cajun

How the #%@! do you get Asian and Cajun cooking in the same building? You grow up on the Gulf Coast - or to some of you, the Dirty South - that's how. The Asian Cajun is started by 3 brothers-in-law, ABC Tony, Peck Sidara, and John Biloxi. One of them grew up in Mississippi. Can you guess which one? The 3 fellas married 3 sisters, but that was not all they had in common. They also shared a love for the same food. They've had many crawfish boils and barbeques together and decided it was time to start a restaurant. The Asian Cajun is not fusion cooking, but rather the best of both styles. Think of Boiled Louisiana Crawfish, Fried Seafood, and Gumbo. Also think of Cua Rang Muoi, Bo Tai Chanh, and Pho. That's right...pho!

"The food here was amazing, I love the crawfish and the pho noodles. The service was great, my food did not take long and the waiters were great at making sure my needs were met.
Will recommend this place to others."

"Hidden Gem. Out of the way place, very pleasantly surprised.
Word Cajun truly applies, real deal, no doubt owners from south.
Key Point: Asian influence: Concentration on Fresh/Live Seafood.
Makes all the difference.
In the Seafood business and from the south, will be back.
Drawback: restaurant was poorly heated. That said, quality of food and service
made up for this shortcoming.

"The cajun food stood up to and in some cases surpassed New Orleans fare! Our waiter was part of the family that owns the place and it was nice to speak with him about their passions and how it came to be."

"This was our second visit and it wasn't as good as the first. I ordered a vodka martini on the rocks. They delivered an appletini. When the restaurant discovwered it's mistake they replaced the drink free of charge. With what though I have no idea as id did not taste or smell like a vodka martinin to me. The blue crab was gritty and the crawfish had way too much butter. The boiled shrimp were so-so. I don't think we're going back - we'll go to Yabby Hut for cerawfish and blue crab from now on."
