Cin-Cin Wine Bar resulted from a friendship of a successful Bay Area local restaurateur and a former Google marketing professional-turned-sommelier. Don Durante and Lisa Rhorer developed the concept of Cin-Cin based on their passion for food, wine and the environment. "I loved Cin-Cin. It was my go to place for girls night. But they've recently changed the menu, and it's not great.
The food was much greasier than normal, didn't have the right flavors and they got rid of a few of my favorite, light, menu options.
They've also changed the wine list dramatically and don't have some basic standards.

"I met a (first) date here. I hadn't been here before and was happy with the overall experience. It was pretty loud but we were able to carry a conversation okay. I ordered a red wine flight, Date Night, which was wonderful. We had the little plate of Crispy Goat Cheese balls; a large plate of pork tenderloin and a large plate of mushroom risotto. We had some kind of lemon sherbert over a crumble (something) for dessert.
Our waiter was not the best, but not the worst I've ever had. He definately did nothing for our dining experience for sure! This is why I did not rate a five overall and the service a three.
Wine and food was yummy and I would reccommend this place and go back."

"We were bummed as we have liked CinCIn in the past. Unfortunately the food was just so so, the changes to the menu uninspired and trying to get some salt was a challenge. Too bad. I'll keep checking the reviews to see if they improve."

"I made this reservation two days in advance for a good table! but unfortunately we were seated at a bar table by the entrance! we requested a table at the main dinning area but the hostess's attitude was "take it or leave it "(NOT FRIENDLY AT ALL) so we went back and asked again and her response was even worst this time, sorry cant help you and then ignored us (meaning you are wasting my time) until the manager got close and realized we were disappointed and offered a smaller table with a chair at the end to accomodate 5 of us which worked out just fine. However, the hostess's attitude left a bad taste and impression with us. The food was excellent as always and the waiter was professional and very knowledgable."

"I get the most amazing mouth watering Facebook posts but when we went on a recent Friday night, none of those dishes were available. There were no specials, either.

"We dine regularly at Cin-Cin (at least once per week, sometimes twice) and have only experienced exemplary service, a friendly atmosphere, and culinary consistency. Some of our favorite wine selections are not always available, but this is a trifle compared to the consistency of our experience overall. Of late, we have experienced screaming infants and small children--two within the last week! We find this objectionable, as we dine at Cin-Cin precisely to get away from such nuisance. I suspect that if this continues, some regulars and others may stray away, as choking on a fine Cab in response to a screaming infant is not pleasant. Cin-Cin should consider its roots as a wine bar and remain a strictly adult atmosphere--meaning no infants."

"I have been dining here since it opened. The food is always solid and delicious. The last few months i have noticed an increase in salt, even on plates I routinely eat. I had a lamb ragu pasta, that was over the top salty. It takes away from the tastiness of the dish."

"Our first visit to cin cin. They had a nice selections of wine, beer and cocktails. I liked that they did wine flights. service was a bit slow for the wine, but was fine then on. We started with a cheese plate and it was delicious. We got to pick the cheeses we wanted which was nice. They have a good selection of food with vegetarian and gluten free options. I asked for a slight deviation from the described course and thy did it brilliantly. Very good food! We will definitely be back. Only words of caution are that it can get really loud inside and parking is a challenge."

I think they were concerned they wouldn't fit in because it's located in "Los Gatos". But they fit in just fine and we had a wonderful time. "This place was jumping, very crowded and extremely loud which is fine for the young crowd.We thought the beet salad was perfectly laced and attractively presented. Sliders were tasty but did we need three?The waiter apologized for keeping us waiting at the table (because they were so busy) We would not return due to the fact we (four of us) were three times the age of therest of the patrons. Obviously we had no idea.It also was a little bit challenging to read the menu in the very dim lighting where wewere seated."

"My meal this evening was not as good as usual, and seems like many plates are made earlier and just heated up. Food came too quickly, and just felt that the experience lost its earlier appeal of freshness. Also found the menu not offering items that I thought were better than what was being featured. only thing I liked was the empanadas--Korean tacos seemed dried out; grits and shrimp was only OK as the shrimp had a funky taste; soba noodles were no longer in the lettuce cups and that seemed not as good.

"What a marvelous place to enjoy wonderful small plates, and sample some delicious wines. The place is on the small side, and always crowded (reservations a must). There's a large free public parking lot out back. Street parking in front is a premium. Several wine flights, and lots of great food! The ambience is modern and hip. The service outstanding. The food to die for!!! If you're in the Los Gatos area, stopping here should be #1 on your list! This'll be an annual stop for us, for sure!"

"The lamb roulade was way too salty, whcih is a novice mistake; soup was very average, appetizer platter was smaller than it used to be and there are no small wine pours. I think this restaurant has really gone downhill with the new chef. It used to be my favorite restaurant. Now the food is sub par and I probably wouldn't go bacak."

"Service was great. Had some friends that weren't joining us, then were, then weren't again. Reservation staff was very accommodating. We showed up early and they sat us right away, then service was fast and attentive. The food is delicious and filling and the prices very reasonable. We love this place and although we don't get out much because of our kids, when we do we go to Cin Cin."

"Five of us were celebrating a friend's birthday. The noise level was robust but not ear piercing. It's a happy and popular place. We shared several small plates and the waiter helped us determine the correct number to order. When we thought something was a salad he explained exactly what we would be getting. This eliminated the possibility of being disappointed. He did not overserve us. The amount of food was just right and everything was wonderfully delicious."

"Quaint little place that impressed everyone in our group. It was a little on the loud side, but still fun. We went for a birthday celebration, girl's night out and as soon as we were seated the waitress wished a happy birthday to the birthday girl. When I made the reservation with OpenTable I noted we were celebrating a birthday, so it was a pleasant greeting! Food was amazing and wine list too! We will definitely be going again :)"
