"My wife and I visited the Bloomingdale Jameson's for the 7th or 8th time this past weekend and it never fails to deliver. The menu is diverse, the wine list long enough and the food quality and quantity is always over the top. If I were no getting the check after the meals I would think the price is 2x more than it is - all because of the service. This past weekend I had the 24oz bone-in pork chop and my wife had the 2 4 oz peppercorn filets and we both had a glass of wine. Of course the meal came with a soup and salad and a loaf of bread. The check, after tax was $60. To top the night off, we took 12oz of my pork chops and 4oz of her steak home and had them for lunch the next day - so 2 meals for $60!"

"The food was tasty and good overall with the exception of the steaks. My spouse ordered her steak "medium rare " turned out to be more like "rare". The kids order their's "medium well" and theirs were cooked "well done". It seems the chef needs to hone his steak cooking skills.
My drinks were disappointing. I ordered 2 vodka martinis and both seemed to be "watered down". Our waitress was pleasant and earned her tip well but the bus boy was a different story. Upon sitting at the table, he threw down the appetizer plates as if they were Frisbees and slammed the silverware on top. Then, he hovered by our table waiting to remove our soiled plates. it was a bit annoying. Our experience was OK but they definitely need to step up quality."

"The restaurant was very organized and pleasant. The food was great! I had end cut prime rib cooked exactly the way I like it!
My husband had the porterhouse, he finished it all down to the bones (guess he liked it lol). Service was awesome, I believe servers name was Natalie, right on top of things! Will be back if I can get a quieter seating area."

"Took my folks out for lunch and had a great time at Jameson's. Lunch prices are surprisingly reasonable--had the prime rib sandwich and all of it was most and very tender--my folks enjoyed Chicken Marsala and we had a wonderful time. Our waitress was very thoughtful in meeting everyone's needs and was always cheerful. We will be back!"

"Great menu. Shiskabob was the best of the 3 dinners. Chicken Marsala - great chicken, but sauce was too heavy. Shrimp Alfredo was not a winner - sauce was like concrete...shrimp were fair. In the past I have had good fish dinners. Will return and try a grilled dinner. Plenty of food with salad and soup and potato and vegetable...you won't go hungry. Soup was tomato barley with too much barley. It was Thursday night after the flooding rain...perhaps the top chef did not make it in that night."

"We had a wonderful server...thoughtful, energetic and timely. The food was very good...big portions and delectible! The only downfall was we had 7:15 PM reservations and had to wait about 10 minutes before getting a table...not usually a big deal but we had senior citizens in our group who couldn't stand for an extended time. I would highly recomend this location!"

"As always the food at Jameson's was delicious and there were kid-friendly offerings for our young grandsons plus we were celebrating a birthday and our waiter brought tira misu and key lime pie with a birthday candle in it to be shared by all. "Always a great meal when we go there. From the time you arrive and are greeted at the hostess station to the time you leave when everyone wishes you good night, you feel like very welcome. Plus, the food is always excellent."

"Food was good. Service could be improved a little. Had to wait for approx. 5 minutes to get a spilled glass of wine removed from table and was not given the time to request another glass to replace it. The charbroiled salmon was a little over done but the chicken and artichokes were great. The 16 oz steak was great too. Will return again."

"Would NOT recommend them. We had a party of 8 and waited more than 30 minutes to get seated. The hostess was rude, but our party of 8 was the inconvenienced one. We were seated in a back room along with many other parties that were waiting. When several of us ordered the Prime Rib which was a special we were told that they "just ran out". I mentioned to the waiter that if we would have been seated when our reservation was we might have gotten it, he responded very sarcastically, which did not help. I would rate service -5. The food was good, but what's a RESERVATION FOR, especially when there is a room available?? Poorly managed."

"Our family loves Jameson's - we've been there quite often. Our visit this time was dis-appointing because of the wait time. Reservations were for 6:30 P.M. and we were not seated until after 7:30 P.M. Normally it wouldn't be a problem but we had another engagement to be at; hence why we made reservations. One couple in our party chose not to wait at because of the time and unfortunately the other couple never made it at all because of an accident. Nobody at the restaurant ever apologized about the delay. I believe there was an error and they never even had our reservation and instead of explaining the error they just ignored it and seated us as walk-ins. Very dis-appointing!"

"One member of our party ordered a beef-kabob dish and requested the meat be prepared medium. when it was delivered to the table, 75% of the meat pieces were very rare. He asked for it to be corrected and they prepared a 2nd dish -- same problem. They offered to correct the situation and provided a 3rd dish - EXACT same problem. They asked if he wanted another dinner prepared and he said no (since the rest of the party was done eating); he asked for a to-go container and said he would finish cooking it at home. The manager had come to our table with the 2nd dish and advised the meal would be removed from our bill but after that, neither the manager nor the waiter were to be found. We had to hunt the server down to get our check."

"The food & overall dining experience has gone down hill! We have dined here quite often and it has continued to get worse. I had a filet which was very small and had no flavor & was dry & tough. The prime rib continues to be very small for the price. The soup wasn't very good and the salad was never good. Probably our last time there unless they get better quality of meat!"
