"Our party of 4 went on an early Saurday night reservation. We were warmly greeted and were seated immediately. The complete male staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. We ordered a cheese and ham plate to start which was terrific. They have a sheeps milk cheese selection which is aged at different lengths that is fantastic. Our table ordered Paella, a house specialty, which was tasty and an equal mix of meats and fish.. A must try for Pealla lovers! Dessert was also a real treat, rice pudding is served warm and it is fantastic, as is the Creme brûlée! I look forward to visiting Espana Tapas again. A great restaurant with great food!"

"If you're into tapas...this is the place to go. From the time you walk through the door, the owner and staff are very attentive offering their recommendations on menu items and specials. Nice selection...reasonably priced wine list. Give it a try!"

"Good food. Hearty atmosphere. Hands-on and knowledgeable owner. Have been there 3x and will go back for more. Try the Spanish wines; some are better than you'd think and priced right... they're not big Cali-cabs, but they're perfect with the meal. Excellent service."

"The service ruined the evening. It was terrible. The menu had a special page and when we started to order some of those items the waiter said "Oh we don't have any of those special tonight I guess they didn't change the menus". What? It's a Saturday night?! We kept having to wave the server over to order more food. The food was good however. We ordered quite a few tapas and aside from the calamari, which was tasteless, all dishes were very tasty. We had to ask for our drinks twice. We asked to see the dessert menu and sat for 15 minutes without anyone returning to the table. At this point we just asked for the check, paid and left. I will try Espana again but not anytime soon."

"I had dinner with friends for my birthday. Seafood is abundant on the menu, great selection of clams, mussels & shrimp, they were tasty. Overall the food was good but not great. Not crazy on the crab & avocado salad, the flavors didn't go well together. The paella was mediocre. I would recommend the meatballs, the empanadas, the spicy potatoes & shell fish The staff was friendly but we waited 4o minutes for a glass of water, That's unacceptable. We had a good time but we don't plan on returning."
