"Going to the Lariat restaurant for the Seafood Buffet is something everyone who lives here should do once. The cold seafood was outstanding. The hot dishes were so so. All in all there was plenty of good seafood to eat."

"Was a very busy Saturday and even with a reservation we were ushered off to the bar area away from the dining area .This seemed to allow for us to be invisible for getting service .not happy about that ..the food was prepared well and very expensive for all alacarte."

"This was without a doubt one of the most disturbing (and embarrassing to my guests) dining experiences I have ever had.The valet couldn't figure out my car....so I parked it myself. The bartender and waiter couldn't figure out a simple drink I ordered (and added different ingredients). They brought sparkling water but no glasses. After 45 minutes I finally asked for bread. They had no small forks for seafood. Then a manager in training antagonistically strolled past my table saying she knew me ( implying I was a trouble maker). I never saw her before. The MOD just made it worse. The food quality wasn't worth the ineptitude or the anxiety. If you expect service...be warned !"

"It was great....we enjoyed our meal! When we arrived, there was no one there to greet us for a 6:30 reservation. They seemed a little short staffed. Our waitress was great, she made the best out of a situation that seemed short staffed."

"The restaurant was empty when we arrived on a Wednesday at 6:15 and was still empty when we left at about 8:45. Our waiter was the only waiter in the restaurant, it was hard to get his attention to order and harder to get his attention once we were severed. Two managers in the corner talking up a storm, but not paying any attention to the guests. It would have been nice to get more attention, water glasses filled, checking back on the table, etc. Appetizers were good, trout was terribly over cooked and way too much crust although it was a nice size serving, just couldn't eat it. It's a shame the food and service weren't better. Not enough space to write all the details."

"Ordered a burger cooked medium. It was well done and dry. On our prior visit the burgers were awesome. Service was slow considering how empty it was at the time. Not sure if we'll return."

"A great quiet neighborhood place in the Carefree Resort. Food is solid if not exceptional. My sea bass was delicious and the bottle of decent champagne was $36. The views from the resort are great but the restaurant itself overlooks the pool more than the surrounding area. The outdoor dining is very relaxing on a nice day. It's a place we return to often for a great mix of food and ambiance at a reasonable price, close to home. ."

"Food was excellent, service was good, and Mr Mendoza, the restaurant Director, set up a table for us when the restaurant did not have our Open Table confirmed reservation. I have already called Open Table to advise of the discrepancy."

"We had a table for two, contrasting with the few other occupied tables of four people. The waiter, who was not overtaxed, seemed to pay little attention to us. My dinner of trout was warm at best. This included french fries which must be served hot. My wife's selections were very good. House wine not very good. Experience definitely down from previous. Will go there again, however."
