With a contemporary ambiance and a hint of romance, the new Red Room Food & Wine Bar in Encino opened its doors July 2011 to offer the community a long-awaited, refreshingly classy neighborhood restaurant and lounge. The Red Room is open 4-10pm Sunday through Thursday, 4-11 on weekends, and closed on Mondays, with a great happy hour filled with specials from 4-7pm daily. It's a great place to mingle after work, or relax with a fresh glass of organic, sulfite-free wine. Proudly offering Los Angeles a cozy hideaway with great music, a heated outdoor patio, and the best wine & food in town.
The Red Room Food & Wine Bar boasts an exclusive list of 50 wines that were hand-picked from all over the world. Our wine bar also offers a mouthwatering menu of tapas, flatbreads, entrees, and salads, as well as a thirst-quenching selection of beer. The Red Room Food & Wine Bar is located at 17499 Ventura Blvd in Encino, CA next to Coral Tree Cafe.
"We loved our experience there and the food/wine were wonderful, made all the better by a coupon we had for free corkage. Slower pace, small plates and relaxed atmosphere made for a perfectly comfortable, unhurried and pleasant experience. We will be back and next time with friends! We heartily recommend this unique and lovely little find. And believe me, we are extremely picky about where we eat out as my husband is an excellent cook and we find it difficult to find a place worthy of our money and dining expectations."

"I appreciated that the wait staff was attentive and considerate. Since there was no demand for our table they allowed two ladies to talk way into the night without "suggesting" that we might order more food or beverage. The food was very good, too!"

"We were a party of 6 and non of us had ever been there. The place is tiny but they do have outdoor seating. Large wine list, everyone enjoyed there food. The only thing that they can work on is the service, pretty slow. Overall I will go again!"

"Fantastic wine list and the service staff are great at picking out wine if you aren't so good at it. We had a hard time picking out what to eat because everything sounded so delicious! We'll definitely be back."

"The food was alright, not the best, and not the worst either. Our waitress forgot about us for a good 15 minutes after we were seated, but overall it was a good experience. They have a few kinks to work out, but have a great idea going. Bottles of wine are 50% on Sundays!"

"Fantastic! We loved it. I heard the drums Fernando!!!! Fernando being our host and everything person. Can he be cloned? Fernando chose our individual wines correctly. The curried cauliflower tapas were delicious. The bread! Try the one with sausage. Almost like pizza only better."

"Tapas style (small plates), really excellent food, very prompt in serving. Tasted wine with owner, who is very knowledgeable in wine selection and in assisting you to find which wine you are looking for."

"We've dined at the Red Room several times over the past few months and always find it a delightful experience. It's a very small intimate place, and the staff is friendly and remembers you. The food's always extraordinarily good.
We went during DineLA and ordered off the regular menu and tasted a few new dishes, including Kobe beef Sliders and truffled macaroni and cheese. The Kobe sliders were the best we've ever had -- very tender, flavorful with a slightly spicy well-balanced sauce and very good buns. We wolfed down the macaroni. Both were generous portions and extremely well priced. The couple next to us really enjoyed the DineLA menu -- they said the cioppino was fabulous.
Red Room is a great addition to the neighborho"
