"I went here for the first time the other night. It was my girlfriend and I's 1 year anniversary. It's perfect for a couple. There were also a few groups of people in there. I love trying new food, and they had several dishes I've never had before. The servers were very nice and polite. They took the time to explain everything quite well. I would recommend this place to anybody. Average cost was around $40 per person. And keep in mind that they do list their dress as "business casual." Although I saw a couple of guys wearing jeans, most people took the time to look nice."

"I took my wife and kids, as well as my mother and father here for lunch. I called earlier in the week prior tk our visit to make sure the lunch menu would be serverd. I was assured it would be. I was surprised when we sat down at our table that only the dinner menu was served.
The food and service were still great as usual, I was just disappointed that I was misinformed."

"Made reservation thinking we would get a nice table. We walked in with our two kids and right away we were placed in the hallway upstairs next to a private room full of people. We were very disappointed because we have had great experience at Melt many times before. My kids are 11 & 13 and are well behaved. Melt is also their favorite restaurant so it was especially disappointing to think that because of the kids we were seated in the worst section of the restaurant. Melt should really consider giving their customers preferred seating when they make reservation a week ahead, especially when there were a lot of nice empty tables available."

"Melt remains the most beautiful restaurant in the region. Their food and service has definitely improved over when they first opened. It is an ideal place for business meetings but even more so for a romantic evening or fun on their rooftop bar. It is a big city style restaurant. Truly a local gem."

"Melt is high atop our list for being a restaurant of great food. My wife and I choose Melt as our go-to eating place when we're joined by my daughter and her husband. Saturday night featured their Prime Rib (tasty beyond words and it melts in your mouth); the crab cake was loaded with lots of crab and little filler; and the steak was cooked to perfection. Our wine was perfect and since we were celebrating my daughter and son-in-law's wedding anniversary and my wife's birthday we were pleasantly surprised when our server, Charissa, delivered a special favorite of hers - a dessert adorned with appropriate candles.
We can't wait to return to Melt since we KNOW that our meal and the dining experience will never be anything short of perfect."

"8 of us dined here recently for my birthday. Despite spending a small fortune on the interior decor, 4 people were blinded by direct sunlight coming through the windows. The waiter's response was that they know, but the owners will not address the situation. For the price, the food is very average at best- the seafood spiedini was dry and fishy tasting. The Garlic roasted chicken was dry with no flavor and the zucchini was mushy and soaked in oil. The other dishes received were also average. I ordered a glass of Stella draft and despite having Stella Glasses at the bar downstairs, I received it in a regular beer glass- little attention is given to details. Very disappointed and embarrassing to me since I selected the restaurant."

"Went on Easter Sunday and had 2:30 reservations. My only complaint is that at this early time they were out of the leg of lamb, which was listed on the specials menu. Other than that, everything was great. My 10 year old twins were with us, and despite the fact that cheeseburgers are not on the dinner menu, they were able to get them anyway. Salmon, rack of lamb, spaghetti and meatballs were all excellent, as was the spinach pie."

"Big Disappointment. We've been to Melt for lunch in the past and the food was very good. This time we had an early 4:00pm dinner and the food was just bad. The onions in the mussels appetizer were thickly sliced and barely cooked. The broth had very little flavor. The sauce that covered the veal chop was overly sweet, far too sweet to eat. The rack of lamb came completely covered in a tasteless gloppy sauce that also covered the eggplant slices and the rest of the plate. After scraping off the sauce, there was very little taste in either the lamb or the eggplant. Wine has always been expensive at Melt, but good quality. However, $13 for a glass of cheap Dry Creek cabernet is grossly overpriced."

"Took some friends out for dinner to celebrate a birthday. We are frequent diners at this restaurant. In the past the food is always been substantially good. However this time not so much. The shrimp with pasta that, the pasta was way too much for the plate. There was very little shrimp and the shrimp that was in the dish was overcooked significantly. They had a special with seafood seafood was had a very tough taste to it. While the dish looked very appetizing the taste was not. Two of the dishes they had was very good and done well. The wine list is always very good because they have a nice variety. I am disappointed because for a meal cost over $350 for people it was just not as good as I had expected."

"My sisters and I decided to try this place on the recommendations of some coworkers. The decor is beautiful, the food was amazing and the ladies room was classy. Everywhere you look there is something new and pretty to see, I loved the wine wall and can not wait until Spring when they reopen their rooftop. My sister, definitely an extremely picky eater was amazed at everything she tried and we all tried everything ordered. We will definitely plan more trips - what a fantastic recommendation!"

"We were a party of 7 and our table was quite comfortable. We had a fantastic server who was very attentive and had good suggestions for those who hadn't been to the restaurant before. They also made it special for my birthday by bringing me a complimentary glass of champagne and a dessert that was delicious!"

"Tried this for lunch on a Sunday. First time there. Nice place, nice setting and quiet. Ordered minestrone (nice flavor but not a heck of a lot; probably about 8 ounces). Ordered meatball panini (wife) and chicken pizzaiola panini. BOTH were not paninis, but a sandwich on a toasted torpedo roll. Two small meatballs with a little sauce on one and breaded chicken breast with cheese on the other. Both portions were smaller than the roll. SUGGESTION: even if you have to, cut the ends of the roll off so that the portion fits, and looks, better on the roll. And...a panini is supposed to be pressed. Service was very good, with the waiter not imposing himself every couple of minutes, but visually checking to see if all is OK."

"This was my third time eating at melt.. The Cheese Ravioli's were so good they must have been extremely fresh! Appezitizers were out of this world exploding with taste although we ordered Brusette a rather simple dish. The house SANGRIA OMG.. not sweet it was a little tart making it perfect!"

"Have eaten at Melt several times. On two occasions, this being one of them, salad was served on the same plate as the entre which makes for a rather soggy salad. Flavor of salad still good but I would rather enjoy a cold crisp salad. The meal itself, was very good, presentaton beautiful and the panna cotta is to die for! Could make a meal of this dessert."
