"The food was very good. A little pricey, but you do get a lot depending on what you order. Our server was fantastic. She always made sure we had our drinks filled, the bread filled, just everything about her was great. We would go back just because of her.
We all ordered pasta, but I think if we ordered a meat or fish dish, we would have had to spend a lot more since everything is a la carte. Pretty pricey for a side dish and salad. Overall, we enjoyed our meal, but it is a little too pricey."

"We really enjoyed our Valentine's Day dinner at Melt. It was busy, but we still got EXCELLENT service, and the food was great. I would definitely return to try more. The sauce on the ravioli was great, and the vanilla bean cheesecake was amazing, but there was more on the menu that we wanted to try. Service was very friendly and knew the menu well. I would definitely recommend. They also have a great rooftop bar which we didn't get to check out this time, but I can't wait to go back and give it a try."

"Brought group of five. Cocktails were good, wine list expensive for ordinary wines, above average food, adequate portions, did not have after dinner liqueur listed on list. Seating area was drafty making my female guests cold. Resevations were on time, staff very pleasant and waiter very knowledgeable.

However, I can find far better for the $350+ dinner tab plus tip. I have paid less and had better selections in a number of major cities where there was something to do after dinner rather than go home.

At the end of the night, I was disappointed."

"Everything was delicious. Portion size was a little small and I usually am repelled by the portion size at some restaurants. The special, mahi-mahi dish was fabulous but must have been 2 oz in weight. The service was excellent. The restaurant is very clean. The ambiance is upscale. The tab a bit pricey at $86 for lunch for three with no alcohol and no dessert. I have been there many times and can't recall portion size as an issue."

"Need to be more consisent. First experience was great. Second time, I ordered the filet mignon medium rare and it came out not even pink. It was beyond overdone. This time, had the tuna tartare (ordered this on the second visit as well and it was very good), but it was so vinegarish that it was almost violent on the tongue. I was dissapointed because it was not tasting like this the first time I had it. I appreciate the vinegar as a signature part of the dish, but when you can't taste the tuna it ruins it. The tuna was so nice in quality, it was a shame that it was wasted. Rest of third experience was good for me. Partner had skeweres with chilean sea bass, etc and the sea bass and tuna were as my filet on the second visit. Consistency pls"

"My husband and I dined at Melt for the first time. We had reservations & were seated promptly. Our waiter was very knowledgable and nice. The food was very good and portions were rather large. The menu is extensive and the drinks were delicious.
The different "levels" add a nice touch to the ambiance and the lighting was very romantic. After dinner we went to the 3rd floor where the dj was very good. Overall, it was a very nice night out-good food, good music and not overly pricey. One downside was finding parking, but if you go early and shop first it is a good choice!"
