"We had eaten there once on a Sunday for the fixe price and enjoyed it do decided to go back with 3 other couples The soup or lack of soup came cold. There were 6 tablespoons in the bowl. That went back to be reheated Then our 8 meals came out.The vegetables were cold and the steaks were cold too. That went back.A manager never came over until I asked to see one.He took off 2 soups and 4 entrees but wasn't too apologetic about the fiasco all night We would not go back there.Very small portions for the prices"

"I had heard about Left Bank Bistro's great steak tartare and was delighted when they were able to produce it despite it not being on the menu! It was wonderful, complete with quail egg! The service was attentive. I got the sense they loved their food and were proud to serve it. The wine cellar is an old bank vault! We'll go back and also for the BYO special on Monday too."

"There were four of us for the first time and we all enjoyed the food. Three of us had the prix fixe menu which was a great value and my husband ordered off the menu. Service was very attentive and we enjoyed our evening. We'll be back!"

"We picked this restaurant for our anniversary as the menu had nice choices, it wasn't too expensive, and the other reviews were good. We shared the Romaine Salad. The dressing was tangy and it was a generous portion, definitely enough for 2 people to share. My husband ordered the burger and I ordered the duck. Both were delicious, although I think my husband had a little bit of food envy. For dessert, we were steered towards the creme brulee, which isn't currently on the menu, but will be added shortly as they are re-wroking the menu. The creme brulee was out of this world! I highly recommend this restaurant, and will definitely be returning to check out the new menu."

"Re-visited the Left Bank Bistro after having been away for a couple months. I was relieved to see that the food quality was outstanding as always, the wine list had grown significantly, and the service was even better than prior visits. New general manager Tony had the dining room in great shape on the busy night we were there...and Chef Masayuki is still pumping out the perfectly cooked bistro favourites that don't hurt the wallet. We won't wait so long to come back!"

"Our first time at Left Bank & it was good although I think they might have been short staffed ~ it took our waiter a very long time to get our drink & dinner orders.
Our dinners were good once they arrived.
We would give it another try ."

"What a pleasure to discover that after a year, the food quality and service at the Left Bank Bistro is still as high as when they opened. My wife and I both had items from the set menu. The chicken and the steak were well prepared and the portions were generous."
