"As others have, we have passed this restaurant numerous times, and we finally had an occasion to try it out. We were there around 9pm and were seated in the "cove" which was a private table off to the side of the bar. The table was romantic; however, if the bar was busier, this table could potentially be noisy. To start, we ordered the calamari and crab meat cocktail which were both very good. We also order the lobster bisque which was okay, but we definitely have had better. My wife had the char-grilled pan asian shrimp and scallops, and I had the pork chop. Both were a little lacking in flavor leaving us a little disappointed for what we paying and expecting."

"I have been eating here since the opening 10 years ago with my family and loved every meal. Until Mother's day. The Brunch Buffet was boring, most things were not hot enough, or greasy from laying in the chaffing dishes. it was way over priced at 32 dollars a piece. Very disappointed. We'll go back for the fabulous steaks, wine list and service for dinners but we'll forever pass on a buffet there again."

"My son and I decided on Creed's as our last minute Mother's Day venue when all the usuals in the area were booked. We were really pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. We've driven past the place dozens of times but never stopped in and now we're really glad we ended up here. Most importantly Mommy loved her meal (pork chop) and our two appetizers (burrata and calamari). Also, don't skip dessert, we had two (peach Melba something and an apricot-mango sorbet), both were excellent."

"Didn't expect much, but it was the only reservation I could get for Mother's day in the area.I usually like to dine in Center City. I was so pleasantly surprised. Nice cozy atmosphere.We got there early and were seated immediately. Delightful waiter. Wonderful charcuterie for appetizer with a scrumptious pate on it. I had a fish called barramundi with mint chimichurri sauce. Delicious! we share peach melba and cheesecale for dessert. They were both fabulous. I would definitely recommend Creeds for a special dinner."

"Creed's has a lot to offer and we dine there fairly frequently. But a few things were off this past weekend.My husband's ribeye steak was done more that he ordered, although still tender and tasty.The sweet potato salad that I had was a bit dry - but a novel blend of tastes so worth trying. But lots of things were notable: Ceasar salad was crisp-tender and lightly dressed - not buried in strong dressing as in some places.I am vegetarian and Creed's was very accommodating,putting together a platter of sides that I selected.We both had asparagus which was perfect. Worth going to this classic restaurant,which keeps its menu up to date."

"I brought my husband here for his 31st birthday dinner. Upon entering, I was greeted by the hostess and informed her of my reservation for 8pm. We were seated promptly. Before being seated, a nice gentleman offered to check my coat for me. The menu has a nice variety, but isn't too overwhelming. There is a nice selection of seafood, steaks and options for the non-red-meat eaters and for people who don't eat seafood. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and even offered me a sample of the wine I had a question about. I had the chef's special: New Jersey sea scallops pan seared and served with a warm purple potato salad. My husband had the filet. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals and experience!"

I'd go again, but definitely for a special occasion. Chose Creeds based on Yelp ratings and it definitely delivered.
When we got our leftovers home, one of the containers was cracked, rendering the food inedible. Quite sad. But that's my only complaint."

"This was our second visit to Creed's. This first time was just my husband and myself. This time we brought all four of our children, ages 12 - 18, to celebrate a special occasion. Everyone loved it! From the lobster bisque, to the oysters, to the steak and lamb, there was something for everyone and it was all delicious! The ambiance of the restaurant is cozy, a bit homey and very welcoming. The service was outstanding! Our waitress was attentive, knowledgeable and likeable. Highly recommend Creed's and we will be back!"

"Creed's is consistently the best restaurant on the Main Line. They have the freshest and best prepared fish anywhere outside of downtown Philadelphia and their specials are always excellent. Service is consistently friendly and attentive. In short, Creed's is a superb restaurant."

"Food was great, wine list was better than usual, service was friendly and prompt, BUT the atmosphere is geared more towards a 45+ crowd. I am 32 and it seemed to be a bit stuffy for my liking. The bar area that you walk into, and pass through to get to the restaurant, was filled with 45yr+ men and no women. The comments and look my date got as we passed through made her feel a bit uncomfortable. We went on a Thursday evening. I am by no means trying to deter anybody from going because the food and service was great, I just personally wasn't a fan of the atmosphere."

"Superb meal. Service was outstanding, with just the right level of attentiveness without being invasive. Food was beautifully prepared and served.
Prices are high, but I thought the overall experience warranted the cost."

"Creed's is a hidden gem in Valley Forge. The "chops and seafood" sign outside implies old school, but it is very much new. Fresh fish is terrific, and specials are creative and delicious."

"Dinner was great, and reservation was handled perfectly. The accoustics in the restaurant make it difficult to have an across-table conversation. There seemed to be only one waiter working the room, and there were service gaps between appetizers, entrees and obtaining/settling the bill.
Also, there was a couple that was seated behind us and after us, may have been a celebrity, that received great service as he bought a few bottles of wine on top of the one they had with dinner. Thought may be to have someone available to pick up the 'slack' if the main waiter is attending to others.
Overall, the food was very good, but I'm thinking I may have had a better overall experience elsewhere. I would definitely give it another try."

"The food and service were INCREDIBLE. Great suggestions, nice fish selection from all over the world,not just your usual offerings. Had the delicious fish from Costa Rica, we had delicious scallops, crab cakes and steaks. Will absolutely recommend this place & return my 1st chance."

"Yes, it is somewhat pricy, but I will still be returning. Our food was excellent, especially the red snapper special! Our waitress was nice and very polite, the service was very good. The only issue was the room temperature, which started out cold and then was a little warm, but this was a minor issue, and the staff made a good effort to address this (it was a very cold night outside). The bar was really hopping when we left, with a big after work crowd, and business people entertaining clients, but we did not notice this until we left. All in all it was a very pleasant experience."
