"We went here for a Mother's Day brunch. The $20 prix-fixe was a great value--you get an appetizer and an entree. They have a varied drink list with some craft beers. We sprung a last-minute addition on them by bringing my 14-month old daughter and they had no problem accommodating her with a chair (probably helped that we ate early). We sat right by the sidewalk doors which were open and the atmosphere was lively without being too noisy and obnoxious. Had to wait a little while for the check, but the experience as a whole was enjoyable."

"We were there for Mother's Day brunch. The food was very good and very reasonably priced for a special event price fixed menu. The crab salad appetizer was particularly delicious and the presentation was impeccable. The service was excellent and what you would expect from a restaurant three times the price. The staff were very attentive to routine service but went above and beyond. We had a 1 year old with us and were brought child's silverware when we sat down, child cups for drinks and one of the staff made a shaker toy out of a plastic cup and cover."

"This place is great for any occasion the food is to die for, the service is amazing and the the drinks menu really good. The deep fried squids was the best I have eaten anywhere. The pork chop was good but a bit big and dry. If you want a good night out in down town Millburn go to Moonshine you won't be disappointed."

"What a treat this restaurant is! Pricey, sure, but never have I experienced such wonderful service partnered with fantastic food. Our party partook of the 5-Course menu, a bargain, as you get to enjoy portions of whatever specials are available. From the app to the soup to the salad to the entrees, I cannot say enough good things about the food. We raved over it. Our waiter was kind, patient, friendly and knowledgeable, and everyone fell all over us making sure we had a wonderful evening. I'd return here in a heartbeat. Absolutely worth the expense. (Oh, and park around the corner in the lot, it's infinitely easier)."

Food has been consistently outstanding and from what I understand they have a new chef who took the food to another level. Superb! "By far this is my new favorite place to go. The food is always on point. I highly recommend the Scallops and Duck dishes. And their new chef has some serious skills, as I witnessed thru his tasting menu. What impresses me most is their Beverage program. Fantastic and significant selection of beer and wines. Their specialty cocktails are awesome! I especially love the Mangarita. The guy who developed it makes his own smoked salt and a smoked syrup. Yet, he pointed out that he developed it so that his staff could quickly make it. My wife loves the Violette's Dream. And the stories they tell in the menu are engaging and hilarious. The decor is tasteful and somewhat funky."

"Bar room spells like a college. Waited 20mins for our reservation. I was pleased/surprised when waiter told me ‘there were better items on the menu’ than the octopus. It took 3 persons, and 15mins change the keg. Never received offer to order something else? Just odd. Wife ordered the short rib entrée; it came without the short rib. I ordered the whole fish. It was okay..but I thought it was funny when I was asked if “I would like the head and tail removed”. Not an awful question but just thought it could have been phrased better “would I like it filleted”. Anyway…no need to return. Dine at your own risk."

"The place is perfect for avoiding the full ride into NYC! Food is well prepared and served with great attention to detail. The brunch on sunday 1/27/13 was the perfect selection for a pair who avoid the egg options after 10AM. Imagine, great beet salad, chicken payard, great burger and frites with an amazing bottle of Albarino at 2PM with great service at the bar and attention from the staff.
