Our adorable Parisian Bistro is nestled in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale. Glittering chandeliers make the cozy dining room sparkle, and the lush garden surrounding the patio transports guests to the banks of the Seine. With just 33 seats inside, and 40 outside, we are indeed "petite", and reservations are strongly recommended.

"We went there for our anniversary. The indoors table and atmosphere was great, but we could have been happy in the outdoors patio. We had the escargots, foie gras. My husband had the steak and I had the lobster which was the special that night. We liked the food, although we both like the lobster better. The service was attentive. I would come back for another date night."

"We went for Mother's Day and Thomas, our server, was attentive, knowledgeable, friendly, and timed our dinner properly. We ordered black mussels, he informed us they just received shipment that morning so they were fresh. The way it was prepared with the shallots, thyme, and charred lemon was delicious. I ordered braised ox tail, my significant other the roasted lamb rack, his dad also had the ox tail, and the matron of the table had the lobster special. Each dish was flavorful and wonderfully prepared. We had souffle for dessert - scrumptious! We would definitely go back for the wonderful ambiance, service, and food!"

"I had heard some good things about this place but words alone cannot describe how good the food is at Petite Maison. It is awesome. As someone who's been to France the ambiance and tastes remind me of the French countryside. I had the beef and it was cooked to perfection, melting in my mouth. The oxtail also was cooked to perfection. We ordered several appetizers the mussels were some of the best I have ever had! It was a bit pricey, our dinner for two was over $200 after appetizers, drinks and desserts. I got french fries with my beef, for the price I would rather had some veggies and between the fried fries and the marrow it was just too much fat for me. But honestly, it was so good it's like complaining about the glove box on a Ferrari."

"Petite Maison has been pleasant on the several occasions I have been there for dinner. The chilled tomato soup with goat cheese (not gazpacho, folks!) I had on Tuesday was a special treat along with my duck breast entree. The tables were a little tight together inside (outside was more spacious) and due to a large party of 8 women crowded in nearby it was noisy for the two of us at our table. I suspect that that is rare. The first time I went (without the large party) it was much quieter and more spacious on the interior. I tried a variety of appetizers the first time I went (and I shared) and had a really nice special of the evening. I have not been for brunch or lunch yet."

"We always enjoy our meals here. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. For the appetizer, I had the bone marrow (yum!) and my husband had the steak tartar. My husband had the lamb chops and rabbit ravioli with gremolata and I had the duck with mushrooms and farro. Everything was tasty. We ended the meal with Grand-mariner creme brulee which was just the right balance for the previous dishes. Highly recommend to get over there and enjoy the patio before it gets too hot to be outside. Otherwise, we have eaten at the bar before, too. Great for a special occasion! (we once watched a couple get engaged!). Enjoy!"

"For my birthday I wanted to try foie gras and a souffle, both of which Petite Maison lists on their menu. I was very impressed with the cute, quiet atmoshere; we were one of two couples sitting inside (it was Thursday night), but I'd also love to sit in the outside garden area next time. Our server, Thomas, made some clarifications with dishes I was unfamiliar with and dinner was really great. The foie gras tasted like it was described: soft and buttery over a sweet bread. Main courses were very tasty (steak and grouper), and the souffle was masterfully presented and was delectable to say the least. Superb French cuisine, and a colorful and friendly staff."

"In general a good place for a special occasion . The bouillabaisse I had was good but could have had increased quantity. My wife loved the mussels appetizer. The escargot I had was flavorless except for the butter - garlic would have been a big improvement! The waiter was abrupt for no apparent reason. - you weren't that crowded or busy. "Charming restaurant, the dining patio was lovely, sheltered from the street by potted plants. Inside chandeliers added a festive, European note. The duck foie grass with peaches was delectable, as were the seared scallops on a bed of creamy risotto. Save room for the Grand Marnier soufflee! Absolutely wonderful! The wine list had an adequate selection in a wide price range. Unfortunately, our server must have had a very off day. We'll return, though, for another visit. Hopefully, the foie gras will still be on the menu."

"We were very disappointed with Petite Maison. The waiter was insulting when told the wine was corked. He wrongly assumed I did not know my wine. One of our group sent back the boullaibase because it arrived with 95% clams and a small mouth full of fish. They added $10 to the bill for an additional tiny piece of fish. The lamb was tough and difficult to cut. We eat at fine dining restaurants nation wide and this restaurant is truly unimpressive. We did not leave a tip and cannot recommend this restaurant."

"When a restaurant places a 21% gratuity on the bill for two people and a fixed menu of choices, I expect phenomenal service. However, our waiter didn't deliver; he was always in a hurry... except for when we waited after being seated. When I wanted coffee after one mimosa, he quipped, "Coffee? You'll ruin the booze." Booze? Were we at a speak-easy? When a guest asks for an item, the best response from the waiter is, "Of course. I'll be right back with a cup of coffee." I asked for cream, and after another wait and an over the shoulder question as he whisked by ("You wanted sweetener--right?"), he brought sugars. Food was good--frittata a little dry-- but the service dulled the meal. The table behind us noticed his brusqueness, too."

"Great and tasty first-time menu. But when you return and nothing changes save one special item, it becomes a bore. Service is great but limited menu makes service irrelevant. Two factors--tiny kitchen and total lack of imagination are the culprit. Will return but only when I forget the menu limitations and order my rack of lamb which was great by any standards. Certainly can do more with desserts where kitchen size is not the issue."

"We tried several disshes even though we were just two people (we are foodies and eat a lot) Moules, Charcuterie,Boullabaise, Foie gras, escargot, Souffle, Poisson, Creme brulee, drink rose, bellinis.
Service was great Amy and Sarah the sweedish host were outstanding, funny and extremely accomodating.
Made our night that much more special.

"We enjoyed our time at Petite Maison. The patio seating was intimate and pleasant and our server was fun and friendly. Our meal selections were tasty but the portions were small. We laughed afterward that we would have to stop at McDonalds on the way home because we were all still hungry."

"Can't see how they got 26 from Michelin. My wife's soup was tasteless and her steak as tough as shoe leather. I had duck. The flavor was very good, but it was also tough and had supposedly been cooked in a sealed bag, etc.
Service and ambiance were nice. I would not recommend based on the food."

"Tucked away on a side street in Scottsdale, this restaurant struck me immediately as a "keeper." The waiter actually spoke French, a nice match for the restaurant, and there were small treats like goucheres, a cheesy puff ball, in lieu of bread. We all enjoyed the three course prix fixe menu, a dollar-wise bargain that satisfied but did not leave us stuffed. My only caveat about the outdoor patio is that the chairs are very uncomfortable. Next time I will bring a pillow or sit indoors. Other than that, it's a fabulous restaurant."

"I went for lunch and was quite surprised to find that I was the only one there. I enjoyed my lunch-I had the mussels which were tasty. However, the portion could have been larger-individual mussels are not very big and I had only 14 so I was still hungry. The Nutella creme brulee that I had for dessert, in my opinion, was fine-not spectacular.
The waiter who I had was great and service was excellent. Next time, I will go for dinner as they have a much more extensive dinner menu than lunch."

"After reviewing their menu online I decided to take my coworker to this place. Right at the arrival I've noticed very little connection to any French restaurant except green plants separating the outside world.
Staff was nice but was missing that sixth sense to accommodate the customer.
I chose this place for 2 main dishes: mussels and foie gras. Unfortunately, they didn't have mussels that day at all and ran out of foie gras

"We had brunch on the patio and it was wonderful. Weather was great and food was fabulous. Nicely paced over 90+ minutes for brunch. And the delicious champagne was poured liberally. Can't wait to go back before the heat hits."
