"The restaurant was quiet for a Sunday evening. My last time there was a Friday night and it was much more energetic and crowded. Service and food was very good. The offerings on the food and beer menus were unique for an Irish Pub. We were not rushed and the stayed for a couple of hours to catch up with an old friend. Certainly a place to try."

"This restaurant was modern and attractive, very clean, very pleasant. The food was awesome! I had chicken pot pie, and it might be the best one I've ever had. Huge beer list. Truly fantastic crab cake sliders!! Other reviewers had earlier commented on the service, but we had a perfect service experience. Loved it!"

"My wife and I came down from WI for the afternoon and evening. Everything we had was great! The short rib nachos were phenomenal! Both of our meals were great as well. Prices were very reasonable and we would not hesitate to come back again."

"The place had a great interior and a perfect 2 block walk from the hotel my cousin was staying in. Nice beer selection, good comfort food at super reasonable prices. Loved the booths and fireplace. Good if you want to be able to have a conversation. Our server was a little bit a of a smart alec, making fun of my cousin's nut alergy which she's sensitive about. But I'd still go back regardless."

"Good dining option around the AMC River East 21 movie theatre (within walking distance). I successfully reserved a same night table while in the cab. I shared a "Pick 6" Sliders option and salad with a friend. All tasty and well proportioned. The server kindly split our salad for us without us having to ask. To drink, we considered cocktails with fun names and a beer list. I opted for a sparkling wine. Definitely will return before another movie night.
TIP: Instruct the cab driver that the restaurant's entrance is on Grand, not on Ohio."

"This is our "go to" place. It's consistent and never fails to deliver. I've never been disappointed by anything I've ever eaten there and will continue to go there at least once a month."

"Made a last minute decision to stop here on Saturday night with some friends. We had our kids (1.5 and 4.5 in tow) and we were pleasantly surprised. The ambiance was great - Irish pub, but bright and open, and the noise was excellent for enjoying conversation. Portions were huge (except the kid's 'pizza'), don't order this for hungry kids. We were celebrating my husbands birthday and they were kind enough to bring over a complimentary dessert. Service was great, a manager came by during our meal and when we were done to see how everything was. Was a great experience, good value, good ambiance, and will definitely be back."

"We live at the corner of Lake Shore Drive and Ohio Street and D4 is the perfect place to stop and have dinner. We love the fact we can go to D4 for dinner and take in a movie at AMC right across the street. Great food, great waiters, and just a fabulous place all around!"

"I am not a picky eater, but the food here was pretty poor. We just ordered some apps such as the sliders. They were as dry as anything, barely any flavor, and half the size of most sliders. Def not worth the 14 dollars for six minature sliders that did not taste good. The curry fries were also not very tasty. A lady next to us sent her food back for the same reason, just not tasty food. If I am going to go downtown and spend way more for food than in the burbs, I better be getting food that at least is better than fair! Would not come back here again. Kinda stinks because the atmosphere was nice."
