"We are repeat customers at Volare Ristorante ever since our daughter had a wedding rehearsal dinner there in 2007.
Our Mother's day reservation was made through the online OPen Table system and it worked out great!
I was glad because trying to phone the restaurant was very frustrating and always led to a transfer to a voice mail. For quite some time, I wasn't sure if I had a reservation or not. I think next time I'll just eliminate the phone call."

"We recently enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Volare''. Our only concern was the location of our table. We were very close to the kitchen. In the future we will request a table on the patio or in the front of the resturant. The food was fabulous! The chef, Joshua Moore, even came by to ask about our dinner. He was very attentive and even gave us his business card so we can call and ask about the type of fish he would have available each week. We felt extremely pampered and we absolutely visit again very soon."

"We had Mother's Day Brunch at Volare on Sunday, while we have had dinner at the amazing hot spot dozens of times, this however was our first time to experience one the their special day brunches, and it was nothing short of fantastic. Chef Josh Moore had his kitchen staff on point with a wonderful selection from which to choose right down to the shaved asparagus. GM Tarak Hamada's finely tuned front of house crew performed to perfection as always, it's not a wonder why in this big-time foodie town Volare is a complete treat!"

"My wife and I chose Volare for our 6th anniversary dinner ,which we both found Volare very enjoyable.Service was very good ,our dinners were excellent. Bar was a little loud a couple of times but we were there when happy hour was ending noise was not unbearable just noticeable. All in all great food and time ,we will be back."

"This was my first visit to Volare and I wish I'd discovered it earlier. If I were staying in Louisville longer, I would absolutely return here. I loved the ambiance. Even at 9 PM, it was packed and energetic, yet felt elegant and romantic. There was some live music as well. The service was terrific. Our waiter was very attentive and even when we ordered a salad last minute, he made sure we got it before our entrees. The food was delicious, including bread with roasted garlic olive oil, wedge salad, and taglioline alla pollo. It was my favorite restaurant experience so far in Louisville and definitely my choice for special occasions. The whole evening felt special. What a treat!"

"As a frequent guest we were disappointed the last two times we have visited. Not sure what is happening? The special my husband and I each ordered was bland and tasteless. "the warm weather on friday must have brought out the hibernating louisvillians, the volare restaurant was a virtual who's who in louisville. the staff was dressed, pressed and very eager to make our evening a most memorable night. we started with the ROTOLLINI di MELANZANE which was excellent and followed with parmigiana chicken that was the best i have had. topping off this well prepared dinner was a generous portion of tiramisu and spun sugar roses. chef josh moore and his staff was on fire friday night and our thanks go out to the entire volare wait staff. we don't have the opportunity to experience volare very often but the times we have, they have never disappointed."

"The food was below average, overpriced and the service was terrible. We had to ask two servers three times for bread. After they cleared the dinner dishes, it was 30-40 minutes before they came around with the dessert menus. The couple we were with had to pick up their daughter at a certain time, and by then we had been there two hours and the time had run out. We asked our server ahead of time for two checks but he brought one. And I know this is beyond the restaurants control, but the parking was ridiculously difficult. Next time we will pick a different place with easier access, even without the other problems."

"We loved our experience. We had the scallops appetizer, crispy duck and salmon for dinner, tiramisu and cheesecake for dessert. We were there on a Saturday and it was busy and fairly loud, but there is a partially enclosed dining area so you didn't feel you were sitting at a football game and we didn't have any trouble hearing each other. Service was perfect, we did not want for anything."

"The service, from valet to the table and back again, was fantastic. Our waiter, Greg, was very attentive without being obnoxious. He was also very helpful in menu and wine selection, as this was our first time visiting Volare. The food was masterfully crafted with an absolute symphony of flavor. I can't wait to go back. Overall a wonderful experience."

"What a fine dining experience should be. I did not feel rushed, interrupted, or unworthy. From the Hostess to the Bussers, the staff was polite, personable and on task. The food was very good, proportionate, and cooked to perfection. I am not someone who has the opportunity to dine out often and March7th was my first visit to Volare. I have absolutely no reservations (pun intended) in recommending this establishment to anyone and everyone! Grazie per una meravigliosa esperienza!"

"We had dinner at a part of the Louisville "502 Restaurant Week" - so it was a pre-set menu at a fixed price. We had a four course meal for two and the bill before tip was just over $100 - I thought that was very reasonable. Each course included a pre-selected pairing of house wines (from Pinot Grigio with the mussels appetizer to Muscato with the tiramisu dessert) that were excellent choices. The menu had only 2-3 choices each because of the nature of the event, so we took both choices and shared (except for the salads). Our entrees of 14 oz. Angus steak and broiled sea bass were excellent! Salads and appetizers were very good but not memorable; desserts of an eggless custard and tiramisu were excellent closer. Service was A+++!"

"Absolutely loved the restaurant. Visited for 502 week, and this restaurant treated the evening as an event (the others did not). We went to three "high-caliber" restaurants during 502 week, and this is the only one I will return to. Truly had a wonderful evening with fantastic food. Volare lives up to the Louisville's stay local! Highest recommendation!"

"This was our first time at Volare. We were very impressed with both the food and service. Every dish we had was wonderful. The Tiramasu was the best I have had. The manager really went above and beyond to make our night perfect. We will most certainly dine there again and I would recommend to anyone. It is dark and quiet. It would be perfect for a date night or business dinner."

"I only had one issue. My wife had a glass of white wine and I had a glass of red. Both were served in a white wine glass. In looking around the restaurant there was no consistency. I thought maybe it indicated whether the customer purchased a bottle or by the glass. ??? Otherwise, everything was great."

"My husband and I went to Volare for Valentine's Day. He had the lasagna, which he raved about and said it was the best he's ever had. Keep in mind he eats lasagna everywhere we go. I had the Caesar salad and the Saltimbocca (?) which was chicken breasts covered in prosciutto and mozzarella. It came with green beans and roasted potatoes. It was delish. My husband and I live for dessert. He had the tiramisu and I had the heath bar cheesecake. Not only were they appealing to the eye, they were the best desserts we've had besides the desserts at Sweet Surrender.
Our waitress was amazing. She was nice, prompt, and engaging. All around great restaurant!
