Delaney's Steakhouse
Delaney's is synonymous with unpretentious fine dining. Enjoy our inviting décor, and start with a delectable appetizer, such as the bacon-wrapped shrimp served with a lemon barbecue sauce. Then select from a variety of fresh seafood, hand cut in-house daily, or one of the renowned steaks, aged a minimum of 21 days and cut in-house and cooked at 1,200 degrees to sear in the natural juices. Choose from more than 100 wines. Lunch boasts 100 percent Angus burgers and a large variety of salads.

"The Wine & Dine was very good. Our table of four enjoyed most of everything. We have been to Delaney's several times over the last few years. We have never been disappointed. It is very relaxing, service was excellent, and small requests were tended to quickly. This was our first try of the Wine and Dine Dinners and we have already signed up for the May dinner."

"Don't waste your time or your money. Had flown in from out of town and went there because of good reviews on OT. Got there and there were less than 10 people in restaurant, but service was at a snail's pace, although congenial. Ordered steak medium well, came out 15-20 minutes later blood rare. Sent back. After at least another 15 minutes, came out blood rare again. Also had ordered no cheese on anything. First out - cheese all over the vegetables. Second time came out, even more cheese all over the plate, steak and vegetables. At least got to eat the soup (OK), some bread and a sauteed mushroom. After the second plate I got up and left. In his favor the mgr comped the order, but I will never go back there."

"The ambiance was professional. We took NY guests after arriving at the airport. We were immediately seated however, it took an inordinate amount of time for our orders to be taken. We arrived at 4:30 pm and there was only one other couple in the restaurant. I was surprised because of so many other great reviews about the service. Oh we'll, maybe it was a bad day.
The bacon wrapped prawns were succulent; my porterhouse was grilled to perfection; and the wine list was very complementary to the food. I would return..."

"Is there a review ABOVE 5 stars????? We had a WONDERFUL TIME!!!!!! The reservation was confirmed. The table was all set for our group!!! (We are the Red Hat Border Babes-1st REGISTERED Red Hat chapter in El Paso!!) The waitress was outstanding with the right sense of humor for our group!!! The food was DELICIOUS!!!

"Celebrated our anniversary and everything was perfect.I'm very adamant about my steak being cooked right and I'm usually disappointed. Not the case at Delaney's. The New York strip was the best steak I've had in a long time.Cudos to the chef."

"Service was extremely slow!!! I was not notified there was going to be a fixed menu for valentines day. Which should have allowed service to be quicker, but that wasn't the case. Did not see the waiter for the 20 mins, then before he returned for the 2nd time it was about another 20 mins. We were seated by the entrance and it seemed like everyone walking in would stare at my wife and I. I previewed the menu online so when we arrived and found out there was a fixed menu we were disappointed. The food it's self was good in taste. But everything else about the restaurant was not on the same level. Not worth the it."

"My partner and I came here for Valentine's dinner and had an okay experience overall, but will not be coming back for steak. The place had a great atmosphere and was ideal for a romantic dinner. Our waiter seemed overwhelmed and distracted, because we had to ask him three times to bring us cups of water. He also screwed up ordering our three course meal at the kitchen. He brought us the steak about 3 minutes after he brought the salad, so we had to finish it quickly to avoid our meal getting cold. He did the same with the desert, so we felt like we were being rushed out of there.The most disappointing thing of the night was the steak diane. The meat was low quality,had significant about of fat, and was hard to chew. Not worth $50 per dinner"

"Grotesque.....makes Outback loook good....Capsule: My wife ordered hes steak medium rare...was overcooked...It was 5:30 Pm as we were going to the theatre. I asked the waiter if the prime rib was rare...he checked and said yes it was....came out dark brown...waiter brought another wasn't even medium...we hardly ate....meat went home to our dogs.....Avoid this place at all cost."
