"I really like this place. My husband and I have dined here several times and walked away happy and stuffed each time. This place is cozy and has an intimate feel about it. The food has been delicious each time we have visited. We will definitely keep going back!"

"This is our fourth visit, and we have always loved the food, but having had steak recently (which is usually what I get) I opted for the stuffed pork chop and it was super amazing. Moist, super favor, etc. My wife had the crab pasta which was great, but I almost felt bad eating the pork in front of her as she loved the bite she had so much. Highly recommend. Great bread too!!!"

"Mixed feelings about my visit. I love to eat outdoors when sunny. The noise from the street was distracting, but the patio was decorated nicely. The service was pleasant, but not overly helpful. My salad came with "pork"....menu stated Red Pepper Coppa. The waitress said that "coppa" was cured pork. My bad. I had to ask to have it remade since I do not eat pork. It seemed as if it was an inconvenience to make me happy. The lamb was delicious but way undercooked (actually took it home and cooked it longer because I was not about to send that back). Finally, there was a mix up with using our coupon and again, it felt that I was bother. They did take off some, but not the full amount since it was a dinner coupon and not lunch."

"The food at Ricardo's was some of the best food I've ever eaten. Me and my date ordered the goat cheese appetizer, which was fantastic. They serve you a small, sliced loaf of bread, with a kind of dipping sauce made with white truffle oil and a mix of herbs. I ordered the ribeye steak, and she ordered a pasta (I cannot recall the name). Hands-down, that steak was the best steak I've ever had, typically when I order steak medium-well, it comes back to me almost well-done, or unevenly cooked, but not this one. After dinner we split the tiremensu, a delicately light dessert; perfect after the large meal we had. The portions are reasonable, we just do not each much to begin with. The service was a bit slow, but it is intended to be that way."

"We originally were very pleased when we first discovered Ricardo's back in January. They had amazing steaks and their chocolate souffle dessert is to die for. However, with each subsequent visit the service has steadily gotten worse. We justified going there and overlooking the service because we enjoyed the steaks. However, the last time we went the food was bland, the steaks were thin and small and the service again was lackluster. With that said, I doubt we will be visiting again anytime soon. Don't believe all the hype. Sadly, the service really ruins a potentially good restaurant in Lacey, as does their slipping food quality."

"20 years in and around Lacey and we hadn't found Ricardo's. We had dinner on Friday with reserved seating. Lovely dinner. Great hostess. Such a treat. We will be back."

"This was our second time @ Ricardos. Food was excellent and the ambiance is cozy. This is a great place to come for a romantic dinner or a fun night out with friends.
Service seemed a little slower this time and we had to ask our waitress to correct an error on the bill, but she did so with a pleasant demeanor. I appreciate that we didn't feel as if we were being rushed to clear the table and we really enjoyed our evening overall."

"Food was really very good; in my mind a bit pricey, but for a special occasion where you want the food to be really good, this is the place. Of all things, I had a meatloaf made from left-over steak. I could definitely taste that it was steak, and it was crusted on a grill - which made it an absolute standout - best meat loaf ("steak-loaf") I've ever had -- and I've had a lot of meat loaf. This is a small house converted to a restaurant, so it is not noisey -- rooms are small, and you can hear what goes on at your table. If you want to have a conversation that you don't have to yell over the noise, and enjoy really good food, this would be the place."

"I have found my New Favorite Restaurant! Absolutely everything was fabulous. The wine, appetizer, Cesar salad, entres, dessert, service, ambiance, Everything. I highly recommend Ricardo's as a special place for dinner. Even making a reservation was simple - did it right on-line - quick and easy. Next time we go out for a nice dinner, I know where to go."

"Ricardo's is a fabulous small town find. The food is exquisite and the wine list extensive. The dining room is on the small side so get a reservation to insure seating. We enjoyed four different dishes including salmon, veal, ribeye steak, and pasta. All were done to perfection, absolutely great flavors, and plated very nicely with ample entree and sides. You could make a meal of the appetizers!"

"The food was good and the service was awesome. My only complaint is a major one, the prices were outrageous. I judge my restaurant experiences on getting what I paid for. If money is no issue, Ricardos is nothing short of amazing."

"Ricardo's is local fine dining, wonderful intimate atmosphere, with GREAT steak, pastas, seafood and wine. I love having this option without going all the way to Tacoma or Seattle. We enjoy dining alone and we have also double dated with friends always making it a very memorable evening. Looking forward to our next visit!"

"Started with an appetizer of crispy crust flatbread - the steak and portabello mushroom, which was wonderful and would have it again. I had the organic duck, which was good didnt have a gamey taste at all, the roasted potatoes were a good addition. My Dad had the lamb Ricardo which he enjoyed he went with the smaller portion, though he shared I think he would have been happy with more. I tried it, not much of a lamb fan, but it was tender and had a good flavor. My Mom had the seafood Ricardo with the fresh pappardella pasta, she thoroughly enjoyed it, finished all of it. I tried it, and though I like it, I would probably not order it,as the clams were still in the shell. We all decided my boyfriends choice was the best - veal marsala."

"My husband and I really enjoyed our experience. We have passed this resturant many, many times but had never gone in. It was more spacious than it appears from the outside. We loved our meal. We will definately be back to try out more of the menu. Next time we will save room for dessert."

"Overall a terrific experience. Only down side is that it is a small space and with a packed house, it seemed a little tight for the servers to get around and when a larger group came in, the noise level ramped up a bit. Also means reservations are a must.
Food was excellent - best filet mignon I've ever had and the roasted brussel sprouts were like candy. Speaking of sweet...really enjoyed the desserts as well. Tried the Trilogy where you get to pick out 3 mini desserts - just the right amount. The pistacio roca and dulce de leche in particular were awesome."

"Rick (aka Ricardo), the owner, pays personal attention to diners at this neighborhood gem. I overheard other diners rave about their steaks. But I chose the veal marsala instead and was thoroughly pleased by the expert presentation. I noted that entree prices have gone up recently. The consolation is that the very reasonably priced desert "bites" are still offered."
