"The food on this night that I ate at Chappell's was very good and, once we ordered, the service was prompt. The problem was getting the server to pay any attention to us. We waited an hour before we placed our dinner order and only after we asked another server to send our server over. She still did not come over and we eventually ordered with someone else. I was very disappointed in the service. I would still go back, however, for the quality of the food."

"Girl friend's birthday neither of us had been there. Great place, food and service. They even made a surprise of cheesecake with Hayy Birthday on the dish and 2 candles. She just loved it !! So did I! We both said we will be back with more friends!!"

"Smashed potatoes were cold. Blue Gill was breaded so heavy you could not taste the fish. Bread on bruchetta should have been toasted more before cheese was added. It was just cheese in soft bread. Service was good."

"Nice dinner. I've been disappointed by Chappell's before, but thought I'd retry just to make sure I didn't pick an "off-day." This visit fared much better. Got the salmon with bleu cheese/dill sauce, which was a slight too salty for my taste, but it wasn't bad. Bread was very good. Salad was good. The chicken Diane was good. Key lime pie was perfectly tart. Glad I re-tried the restaurant."

"The restaurant was perfect for a college room mate reunion. We were given a table that provided privacy and an excellent atmosphere for conversation and fine dining. Chappell's Coral Grill certainly provides and opportunity to enjoy delicious seafood in Fort Wayne! The large scallops were wonderful, seasoned perfectly. Some of us enjoyed shrimp, walleye and steak. Those who tried the crab slaw said it had just a little "kick" that made it delicious and interesting. The food presentation was appealing and the homemade desserts of creme brulee and a brownie sundae were enjoyed by all. Everyone was pleased that we chose this restaurant and we would love to go back."

"The overall atmosphere was great and great for a quiet evening. The food was extremely well done as was the service. Overall, everything was outstanding and when in the area we will definitely frequent this restaurant.
The only recommendation fits many of todays restaraunts try to cut the wrong corners. Put a spoon in the silverware wrap on the table. I realize this is an additional cost. However, it is a process breakdown and forces the servers to remember a spoon with the coffee or other items of food where a spoon might be handy. The server does not need to chase spoons. They have other more important service priorities."
