"The hostess could not locate my reservation, even though they called to confirm the evening before. The menu was limited due to a neighborhood concert but this was not indicated on the restaurant's website as a special event. We ordered cheesesteak dumplings and they were cold in the center. We sent them back and the second order was still undercooked. The waitress was kind enough to remove the order from our final check. We ordered hot wings and cheese fries, expecting the fries to have the cheese already on them. Instead we were charged a whole dollar for 2 tablespoons of cheese on the side and diner fries. I would have had a better meal at pats/genos. Dissappointed to say the least."

"Giving this restaurant a fair review because we did go on a busy party weekend. However, there is limited crowd control as the entrance/exit is rather close to the bar and they allowed a huge crowd of people to congregate right in front of it all night. Very young crowd, so it is probably more appropriate for early 20's...which I guess is what this area is catering to. Service was not too good, but again it was a busy party weekend....noise level caused confusion on food and drink order and large delays were experienced. Cheese steak dumplings were pretty good, tuna was decent, filet mignon was very bland and undercooked."

"Went here for brunch on Saturday, specifically for the $12 pitchers of Bellinis and Mimosas. Food was great too and priced perfectly. Great spot for a quiet brunch. Second time here and both times the restaurant wasn't overly crowded. There's a nice area for outside eating, if you're in to that."

"We went here on a Tuesday and had the all-you-can-eat crab legs. The crab legs were phenomenal and the service was great! Just don't let them try to fill you up with the salad and fries before you get your crab legs! The drink menu was pretty good, then again, we are not very picky about our drinks. The overall atmosphere of the place is great! The outdoor seating area looked really nice, but it was too cold to sit out there when we went. There is a nice size bar and the lighting throughout the restaurant is pretty dark, but we liked that since we were chowing down on our crab legs and making a mess! Overall, a great experience. We would definitely return!"

"While the quality of the food need to step it up a bit, it was wonderful. Had the lobster bisque & seared ahi tuna. Soup was lovely, tuna could have had more of...something. Still, good. Long Island iced tea is terribly weak but the Nutty Irishman was delish! Will return with the girlfriends, not the family."

"My friend and I went to King's Oak for brunch on a Sunday. It was almost empty when I arrived at 11, but quickly started to fill up. Our server, Aaron, aside from being devastatingly handsome, was super friendly and attentive. The brunch drink specials can't be beat. $2 mimosas, bellinis, and bloody marys. We both got the bellini and it may have been the best one I've ever had. My friend got the highly recommended breakfast burrito and raved about how good it was. I had the peanut butter and farmer's cheese stuffed french toast that was on special. O.M.G....that's all I can say. I will definitely be back for brunch over and over again!"

"one dish was missing some critical elements and the server did not offer to replae it. he was overly chatty but unfortunately dropped the ball on some key elements -- silverware and napkins for half of our party, and toast for the gluten-free diner (duh!)"
