"I went back to the Melting Pot after many years because my dinner companion really wanted to try the restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised. We both choose the complete meal option and started with the Swiss Cheese fondue. The portion was perfect, the cheese delicious and the assorted dipping bits were fresh and bite sized. The California salad was good; perhaps a bit overdressed. I chose the Steak Lovers main course, my favorite on the plate was the teriyaki beef. The chocolate fondue for dessert was the best course of the evening. I was ready to lick the bowl. I was Thanksgiving stuffed by the end of the meal. Service was good, menu/course descriptions sounded over rehearsed; like a flight attendants announcement."

"First time we went for girls night out. Different atmosphere for this event, but if you are looking for a lot of giveaways and freebies, you will be disappointed. Food was good...we were there for 4 hours, so a good time to go if you want to chill and spend time with your friends!"

"This was always my son and daughter's favorite restaurant. It is so much fun to play with your food:). The service was almost horrible, they were not even close to being busy...really slow. The food was less than impressive so unfortunately we were disappointed. We were there for a birthday dinner and in the past they always set up balloons and a card, they did offer a candle and extra sweets but I think the service ruined it for us...."

"Going to the Melting Pot for special occasions has always been tradition. For my son's birthday, he wanted to go for the chocolate fondue. Recently, we moved from Colorado to Florida, so the closest Melting Pot was in Fort Lauderdale, (we live 3 hours away). I was so unimpressed with the atmosphere, the hostess sat us in a terrible spot, right where all waiter traffic was most prominent. The chocolate was cold, and when we sought more "dippers", the waiter came out with two extra dippers. Ridiculous. I will never attend this restaurant again, which is really sad considering all of our other Melting Pot experiences (in Colorado), were great."

"Long time diner at the melting pot all over the east coast. Food and ambiance was on point as usual. Service was good except the waiter seemed to be too busy for us. Dinner lasted 2.5 hours because we were waiting between courses 15-20 mins on average. He was very nice but eating for almost 3 hours just two of us is unacceptable."

"This is the first time we have been back since they have revamped their menu. They have new offerings for those who want more bar options, but the menu itself has very few new additions. The only thing that changed was now people can order meals to be more individualized, so if two people are dining together they can now order their own entree selections. While The Melting Pot has been one of our favorite restaurants, we were disappointed that the "new menu" wasn't really new at all...just redesigned. As long-time patrons we probably won't go back as frequently because we are tired of the same stuff month after month."

"First time I've been back since I was a teenager. It was wonderful. All of the food was very good. (And I'm critical) The waitress was very informed and everyone was friendly. We experienced the entire thing. Dipping things in cheese. Salad. Steak, chicken, shrimp, veggies, apples, and bread. Then of course everything with chocolate. (i.e., strawberries, rice krispies, etc)"
