"My wife and I ate at the restaurant and tried the Chef's Choice 4 course dinner and was extremely impressed with the explanations of each course and the wine selections also for each course. We had a wonderful dining experience and would recommend for anyone who is looking for an upscale menu with a casual atmosphere."

"My wife and I dined at Latitude 41 before a CSO concert, and ordered the Tasting Menu with wine pairing. It was fabulous! Even though it was a relatively busy Saturday evening, the chef came to our table with each course and explained what he chose and why, and a bit of how he made it. They timed everything just perfectly to give us plenty of time to make our show."

"As a disclaimer, I'm a bit of a foodie. That said, I thought the food here was mediocre. For example, the crust on the pizza appetizer was overly thick and doughy with way too much cheese - more like something you'd eat late night after drinking than a high end food establishment. The mussles I had were fairly good but it's difficult to mess those up. On a Friday night, it was not crowded and I found the atmosphere to be incredibly sterile. Our waiter was lovely - attentive, prompt and entertaining."

"Probably the worst evening out we've had in years. We are professional eater-outers (at least 3-5 times a week) and I was excited by the reviews of this place. When we arrived (after two emails and a phone call to confirm my reservation - can you say harassment?) we were seated by the kitchen. We waited and waited and waited for our waiter and we watched the sous chef get more and more annoyed that every time he called out Service! nothing happened. Don't feel bad, guy, we couldn't get service either. When we finally got one drink and one appetizer after 45 mins and another server handed us someone else's check to pay, we decided that was the best idea of the night and asked for OUR bill and left to have dinner - finally- at Due Amici."

"Very small portions! Had the lobster Mac & cheese. Great flavor, some lobster, however only about 12 noodles! Very disappointed. Also, server never came to our table except to order and collect check. We had bottle of wine, he never filled our glasses. Never asked how our food was or if we needed anything."

"This is the four time I've eaten at Latitude 41 and every single time has been incredible. I love that the restaurant focuses on sourcing local ingredients for their dishes. We were the only party in the restaurant (Saturday before Easter) and our server was amazing. I wish I could remember his name! His knowledge of the menu was very impressive and he described the dishes so well.
We had a friends 40th birthday dinner here and everyone was impressed with how good the food was."

"Even though meat, salad and appetizers came at once and pizza was served later, every single plate was outstanding! Beef steak was very tender and mussels had fantastic spicy lemongrass flavor. Pizza crust was rightly crispy. Portion was just right, not ridiculously huge. We've never had such a sophisticated quality even in NYC or LA. Highly recommended for genuine foodies."

"My experience at Latitude 41 was overall a disappointment, with a few bright spots. The housemade potato chips were excellent, but the bleu cheese on the side was more sour cream than anything else. I ordered the margherita pizza and it was laced with hot sauce! Inedible! It was like the tomato sauce had been replaced with tobasco. I told my server I couldn't eat it, and ordered the beef tenderloin instead. It was good, but not really what I wanted. The woman at the table next to me ordered a salad with bleu cheese dressing on the side. She got it with vinaigrette poured all over the salad. She sent it back and the next one came with bleu cheese on the salad. The 3rd time they finally got it right. And my Cosmo was $13! Way overpriced."

"Only reason going from 5 to 4 stars was the wine pairing seemed very random. We highly recommend visiting. Great local food with a menu that rotates based on availability and keeping things interesting.
We had the tasting menu. We were incredibly impressed with the food. The wine pairing left much to be desired however. 3 chardonnays to start, one paired with a very earthy mushroom risotto. Then a hearty merlot with a shrimp and grits course. It seemed way more random than thought out. The wine was not bad though."

"Chef Bell is very talented and astute. His tasting menu was outstanding and so delicious we are planning on returning as often as we can for it. The ingredients were fresh, beautifully presented, cooked to perfection, and the blend of flavors was bold yet subtle. Pure delight."

"My wife and I had a great meal and phenomenal service last time, which was our first time. at Latitude 41. We recommended it to friends for dinner and so nine of us went. While the food was good, the kitchen was out of a couple things we wanted to order. Also, for the number of staff milling around, including the kitchen staff, the service and time to get our food was sub par. Our server was attentive but seemed unequally busy based on the other staff. Now our friends didn't mind the time our meal took, as we were all out for a relaxing evening. But my wife and I noticed.
I would recommend Latitude 41 to anyone for a very good meal. Just let your server know if you need to get your food quickly or if you are hungry."

"Sorry, but my margarita pizza was nearly in edible. Hot sauce on pizza? Caused problems for me. A margarita pizza should be strong in fresh basil flavor. This place has long been a favorite of ours, so we were disappointed from the beginning when we ordered a Caesar that had lifeless romaine."

"I was a little disappointed. My husband and I were on a weekend trip with three other couples. After checking out the menu on-line we all agreed this would be a good choice. We had reservations for 5pm. We got there right on time and we were asked to wait outside becuse they were having a staff meeting. Once seated I noticed right away that the menu on-line was not the same one we had been given. We asked the waiter who explained that the menu changes every week. This would have been nice to know ahead of time. Our waiter was very nice. Our meals took forever to prepare even though we were the only ones in the restaraunt at that time. Nothing spectacular about the food and don't order steak if you are hungry or you will still be hungry!"

"My husband and I loved our dinner here! The Surf & Turf was a great way to start the meal. I had the mushroom risotto, which was good, but maybe a little heavy on the truffle oil? He had the fish & chips, simple but delicious. We had the chocolate torte, and both agreed it was one of our favorite desserts. I also really enjoyed watching the chefs in the kitchen. We had a great experience, and I definitely recommend this restaurant!"

"I was told about this restaurant by a co-worker at work. He recommend the tasting menu with wine paring. I was not let down by anything at all. The food was fantastic. The service was great. Our server in particular was nothing but great and I wish I could remember his name to mention him in this review. The wine paired with the food was a real treat and definitely expanded my pallet. I will 100% be returning next month. Thanks for a fantastic service. Thanks"

"The food was delicious and nicely presented. We had the pear salad (good) and beet salad (amazing!), the roasted chicken and fig/goat cheese pizza (yum!). Favorite by far was the sticky toffee dessert - we ended up getting another one to go!!
The problem was the service: it took us THREE hours to finish dinner because the kitchen was 1hr behind since it was catering to the entire hotel plus the restaurant. And it sounded like they were gravely understaffed with kitchen personnel and servers running around like mad.
They need to get their act together and then I'd give this place a great rating. As it stands, i'd only go for the sticky toffee dessert (and be prepared to wait at the bar for 1 hour while they make it since they're so be"

"The kitchen was slow and backed up. We waited an hour and twenty minutes for our entrée. The waiter kind of forgot about us. Some of the food was great, especially the beet salad. The rest was only so-so, and not worth the aggravation."

"I like this restuarant but my last visit when I chose the 6 courses I was dissapointed very much. Althought the food was good. The reason I'm dissapointed because. All the past times I choose the courses there are some creativity. The last time I went it was big portions and the several courses was already from the menu ( which usually should be out of the menu as I excpected in the last 3 times) If I went there I might not choose the courses again and just order from the regular menu."

"A wonderful dining experience. The hostess was friendly without being too chummy, the waiter, Charles, was very informative. Service was quick and everyone appeared to be on task and yet very gracious. Only complaint was the food was warm, but was still very tasty. We will definitely dine here again."

"This was our first time at Latitude 41 and we were very pleased with our experience. Our server Kris was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable about the food, where it came from, how it was prepared as well as the cocktail I ordered (Bee Sting)and its special preparation. We had the wild mushroom pizza, charcuterie plate, yellow fin tuna with black Chinese rice, and the housemade chips with feta dip. All delicious and from local sources. Kris even offered us Jeni's current seasonal ice cream for desert since we were celebrating my birthday. We will definitely go back and look forward to a chef's tasting and dining outdoors."

"Service was excellent.Had a cocktail in my hand within two minutes of being seated. The lunch was nothing to shout about.I had the Croque Madame(French Ham and Cheese Sandwich) with a side salad. The salad was just right with mixed greens ,shaved parmesan and a light dressing. The sandwich on the other hand, which was the wait person's recommendation , besides the pizzas was not good. The bread was dry ,very little ham or cheese and the egg was overcooked. The lunch menu looked good ,but if the quality of the items were similar to the Croque'they could use some help."

"We went to Latitude 41 during Restaurant Week and really enjoyed this restaurant. The chef uses local ingredients to create very creative and tasty choices. He beat my expectations by having items on the menu that were not just cookie cutter recipes, you could tell the chef was thoughtful in his choice of ingredients and putting them together in an interesting way. While this restaurant is in the Renaissance hotel, you don't feel like you are in a hotel restaurant. They have created a very inviting dining area."

"Easily one of the best meals I have had in Columbus. Latitude 41 sources their ingredients locally whenever possible and even have a rooftop garden. It's very easy for me to rationalize paying $40 something on a meal when I know the food is quality. I was told much of it is organic as well. I utilized the Columbus Restaurant Week menu a was extremely happy with each dish."
