It's located between the Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center, and the world-class Aquarium of the Pacific. "Made my reservation thru Open Table for a Sunday, with a special note that this was for my Mom's 83rd b-day, and requesting a window seat. Upon arrival our window seat was reserved for us, but the the service from the moment we sat down was terrible. They did not look busy, but our waiter took forever to make his first visit, then everything was a LONG wait...drinks, food, dessert, and check. The only thing that did come fast was the main course after the appetizer, which I requested not happen! Although our waiter seemed seasoned he created more work for himself by forgetting things...cocktail forks, etc. Dessert took forever, and I was thinking because they were doing something special for the birtday...nope! Not a Happy Birthday :("

"I've been to Gladstone's before, and have always been satisfied. They know how to do fish right (never order anything but fish when I/we go). Much better than the "lighthouse" across the water, in my opinion. While I like the atmosphere and food, and the table/view was great, the server was almost non-existent for most of our visit. There were long gaps between her visits to the table and our water glasses were never refilled. All else was great. We'll go back in the future."

"Overall, it was excellent! First, we were seated immediately (even we were 30 min. early for our reservation, AND on Valentine's Day!), the patio table we were seated at was warm, even at night), and the food was EXCELLENT! The grilled shrimp were great, and the grilled salmon was so good that my girlfriend, was'nt too crazy about fish before, not only LOVED it, and has changed her opinion about fish! I had bragged about this resturaunt to her before this night, and they exceeded expectations. We WILL be coming back, and HIGHLY recommend it!"

"A fun mix of vibrant energy and tasty king crab served in a great location. Although we had reservation, we still had to wait in a line just to inform the hostess of our arrival. The staff was friendly but they were required to serve too many tables because of the over flowing crowd the night we dined. Would recommend Gladstones as a fun place to dine while in Long Beach."

"It was our Valintine supprize for our wives,There were 6 in our group. The waiter was very helpful with food choses. Things went off with out a hitch. I tolled the wiater i was a chocaholic,He brought me a chocalate cake desert that was to die for !!!

"We had a wonderful, afternoon lunch in the sun drinking Mojitos, Bloody Marys and wine recommeded by a very knowledgable waiter. My wifes' Gladstone salad was perfect with large amount of shrimp instead of the two or three typical of other resturants seafood salads. My Lobster Bisque is the best I've ever had. Full flavored, spicy with a perfect polenta biscuit holding pieces of pancetta wraped lobster. I want more. My only concern was the California Roll which seemed to have been premade and refrigerated, lacking any tast of the crag meat or nori. But we will definetly be back! Jack-Concierge-Hilton Resorts."

"Great view of the marina and harbor. Unfortunately, that was really the only notable thing.

The food was mediocre. I had grilled ono, which was overcooked and a bit bland. If not for the teriyaki glaze and mango salsa, there would have been no flavor at all. The mashed potatos were good, but dry. The vegetable, a giant piece of broccoli (calling it a floret is like calling a sequoia a shrub), was either boiled or steamed, but totally lacking in any seasonings. My dining companion had blue crab stuffed salmon. The taste was alright but it was also way overcooked. For a place that had so much seafood, I would think they would do a better job with it."

"Nice plate presentation, fresh seafood daily and friendly staff make for a pleasant night out at Gladstones. Although the music and ambience a little loud compared to the Restaurant's Malibu parent location, but the restaurant is worth visiting. Fair value for money with an exceptional view of the lights of Long Beach Harbor and the Queen Mary."
